The hot-shot pilot is hiding a secret dark past

When his co-pilot gets tired of being second-best, what would she do to prove herself worthy of being captain?

Myla Clark (29) has devoted her life to becoming a successful pilot. Strong, determined, and fed-up with men not taking her seriously, Myla is ready for her turn to be captain. There’s only one person standing in her way – Jase.

Jase Miller (35) is a man of few words but those few words are enough to push all Myla’s buttons when they’re alone in the cockpit.

When the rivals are stuck together on a job, Jase finally opens up about his troubled past and reaches out to Myla for support. Will she push him away or finally accept him into her arms?

Jase Miller may be used to women throwing themselves at his feet but Myla is different. He’s about to be the one on his knees.

Make Me Please is a enemies-to-lovers, forced proximity gentle femdom romance short story of around 10K words. It is Book 4 in Femdom Origins series where popular romance tropes are imagined with the roles reversed. What if…?

Kinks Foot fetish, SPH, MDlb, nursing, and humiliation.

Content This book contains mature content and a trigger warning for violence. All scenes take place between consenting adults.

What is gentle femdom? Easy on the mind, rough on the body (consensually). Consent, communication, and trust – the pillars of a beautiful, kinky life. But make no mistake – just because it’s “gentle” on your mental health, does not mean your body won’t end up bruised and bound.

M. Kay Noir

M Kay Noir is a romance author and journalist obsessed with moments of desire.

Most of Kay's stories are dark(ish), kinky, queer-friendly, polyamorous undertakings with neurotic characters who are often their own worst enemies. If you expect any regard for traditional gender roles or power dynamics, you will be disappointed.

"I like my female characters dominant...
...And my MMCs on their knees."

Born and bred in South Africa, Kay has been penning steamy moments for more than 15 years now, from fanfics to ghostwriting and now, finally, her own stories. Her day job also involves a lot of writing, albeit a different kind—mostly sustainability things.

When she’s not writing (or reading), she enjoys making her husband look at yet another sunset or going to a live music show.

Single perspective humiliation fetish. This story needed an epilogue, something to bring closure but it doesn’t have it. Good story but it felt a bit incomplete.

I really enjoyed this story. From the point of view of the domme to the initial sex scene and budding relationship described. A great edition to this author's portfolio.

I liked it.
There is not enough books with femdom, this one had nice scenes.
Quick read, the story is a bit rushed but it’s was expected being a short story.
The MMC was a bit too mean for me at the beginning.

Enemies to lovers (super quick resolution)
Fendom (really mild)
Pilots.

The plot was set up beautifully and finally when he surprise her with his submission is very hot and the play gets better when both of them reverse their role and play it suberly.

It might be "just" a short story, but it is immensely insightful.
The psyche behind male submission is intriguing. This work takes a practical and psychological look at that dynamic.

✨ARC Review✨
Jase is the captain but there is more than meets the eye. From a horrible accident that happened years ago. He hasn’t been the same since. What he enjoys is being dominated.

Myla is co-pilot and tired of Jase always getting praised while she gets looked over. They have been working there for years at the same time and he always gets chosen over her.

While they are staying at the hotel with connecting rooms. Jase ends up in her room and she is not expecting what happens next.

To find out, check out this book in the series!

I was pretty excited to read a book on Pilot and a co-pilot but this book didn't to any justice to my expectation. The blurb was for sure making me to pick this book but the the outcome wasn't according to my desire.

It was really boring, the characters development was not nice and I found the story being rushed. It felt like the author just had an interesting story to tell us but didn't know how to express it to us.

My interest while starting this book and while ending it was not the same. I also felt like the story line itself being lost somewhere in between.

That one credit I shall give to the book is that the hero having a different kink (Heroine criticize his size would turn him up) and somewhere the smut was okay.

“Yes, Ma’am. I can’t help it. Just being near you is enough to make me instantly hard.”

That one part where Jase allows Myla to control him was liked by me. Yes, it was nice to see a hero submit. Why always the female? I did like that thought but apart from that nothing felt good for me in this book.

I would recommend this book to readers who want to see the heroine dominate the hero for once.

Overall, this wasn't for me.

Thanks @Kaynoir and @booksprout for providing me the ARC of this book for an exchange of an honest review.

When I first started reading this racy, sexy novella, I wasn't sure if I would like it. But I stuck with it and quickly found that it was pretty hot. Having a female be the dominate in a relationship is something that isn't written about much. But Myla was a strong female and Jase seemed to be a strong male. Working together as pilots, flying together with Myla being the co pilot was getting on her last nerve. She should be the main pilot at least some of the time. But after a year it hadn't happened yet. Landing and staying in a hotel, waiting on their boss to finish business, then the plane having problems, gives them a opportunity to get close. Learning that Jase needs to be dominated gives Myla power she never had before and gives Jase relief from his demons.

A real hot read. I have read other books by M.Kay Noir before and their books don't disappoint.

"Make Me Please" held the promise of an enemies-to-lovers forced proximity tale, but it ultimately disappoints on several counts. Myla Clark's character lacks relatability, coming off as rude and unprofessional. Jase Miller's secret past feels rushed and fails to add depth.

The writing style is awkward and rushed, hindering immersion. Dialogue feels forced, and the romance lacks chemistry. Several different Kinks are present but don't rescue the story. The trigger warning for violence seems misplaced and mishandled.

In the end, "Make Me Please" doesn't live up to its potential. Weak characters, poor writing, and rushed pacing overshadow the unique angle. The result is a cringeworthy and unsatisfying read. Not recommended for those seeking engaging romance.

Tell me a time when exploring yourself and your sen§uality isn't the hottest thing ever. There isn't one.
I loved this collection of short stories of femdoms being their queens.

As always, we never want a good thing to end, The same can be said with these, but truthfully I wouldn't change a thing.

They are beautiful 'sound-bites' so to speak of different k!nk dynamics and relationships.

I love that M Kay promotes a message that is dear to my heart. Consent is everything and consent is sexy. - The difference between abu§e and bd§m is consent and education! - I applaud Ms Noir for showing this through every story.

If you are of a curious mind and want to read about strong passionate 'couples' these are perfect for you.

4/5

Myla has been yet assigned to her co-pilot seat, while Jase is yet again the captain. In her bitterness Myla and Jase start bantering for a while. When they land in Puerto Rico, it seems that their boss has booked them a family suite with two bedrooms. While being stuck in the hotel room, far longer than they both expected, they start to warm up to each other.

This novella consists of 8 chapter, but was nonetheless an enjoyable short read.

Tropes:
- forced proximity
- forbidden romance
- enemies to lovers

This was a super sexy short story of two coworkers accidentally taking their working relationship to a sexual relationship. Jase and Myla are both pilots and have flown together one year and some change. This European trip reveals secrets they are both keeping. With their plane being down for two days these two pilots become closer and explore each other sexual need. Join the story to see how one's enemy become their lover. Enjoy 🥰.

This was definitely a very quick read. CO pilots who seem to about each other finally learn more about each other on a layover.

This one wasn't really my cup of tea since I don't understand the appeal of humiliation, but I realize that is something that excites some. For those into that, this will be right up their alley.

Jase and Myla are the pilot and copilot for a private company. Myla feels her skills are equal to Jase’s, but she is always relegated to copilot and resents Jase for that. On a layover, Myla finds Jase is more interested in having her in control in the bedroom, a situation Myla heartily accepts. Short, steamy, female domination to fulfill Jase’s fantasy.

Myla and chase are pilots and collegues. They start off as enemies. Jase being the captain and Myla his co-pilot.
I love the whole femdom activity. But the moment feet are involved, my interest goes down. I know this is just a personal thing, but the book itself is really good. That’s why I give this 3⭐️ (ARC-review)

Okay so just have to start off by saying that I'm surprised by how much I loved this. I love a good degradation kink but I've never read a book where the MMC is the one getting degraded. I have found a new love in that. It was pure perfection and I'm so glad that M Kay Noir was the first to introduce me to it! But other than, the book was pure perfection in all other aspects!

I like a strong female and Myla was that, but I didn't connect. Jase, it's the quiet ones you have to look out for. All in all this was just an ok read. The others in the series I liked more.
