Eh. I liked it, I didn’t love it, but I guess liking it is enough sometimes 🤷♀️
Emilia folded so fast, and listen… I get it. I would’ve folded too. But I also don’t want the man dead, so someone has to show restraint 😭
Now, Konstantin, I was so sure he’d be terrible based on the other book, but surprise! He’s actually a giant cinnamon roll in this one. All brooding on the outside, but soft and sweet when it comes to her, and I kinda ate it up.
The plot itself was solid. I really liked that part and stayed invested the whole time.
Now. The pool stick and the pew pew?? Is anyone worried about internal injuries anymore??? 😭💀
Overall, it was entertaining and fun enough, just didn’t leave me obsessed.

Warning this is erotica not romance FYI. It’s categorized as dark romance.
This is my take on it. Because reviews are opinions right?
I’ve read a few of the authors books. I generally liked most of them. This…. No. I felt like she put all the effort into the dark kinky smut.
Characters were not likable. In fact they were both kind of frustrating.
DNF- it was gross.
Im good with dark romance. This is all dark, erotic and no romance. This was under “mafia romance” not erotica.
MMC and his “assistant” inspect the merchandise… and also try out the merchandise. By merchandise I mean the FMC
Sooo MMC sticks a pew pew up in her center of the thigh region. (I really don’t want to get flagged)
this is ridiculous on so many levels. the germs on them are probably the same as a door handle plus the stuff you clean it with to keep it from rusting and to maintain it. Most pew pews aren’t smooth barrels… theres sights that can be sharp at the end of the barrel. Plus the MMC said “it’s ok the safety is on” that tells me the author knows little about pew pews. When I read “gun play” I think of Russian Roulette not… that.
Ohh also there was pool stick used later on.
Then he has his assistant who is a female go down on her without telling her (borderline “she didn’t really say no exactly” and under the guise that this is an interview) As he watches. Which is what they do for every potential employee. Again, this icky (STD, germs all kinds of gross. )
This isn’t romance. He’s a sadistic pimp who likes to put very odd objects inside women as punishment knowing he doesn’t have feelings for them.
Was it dark? Absolutely? Was there smut?? More smut than story. Romance? None, zero, romance. It was erotica.

I was really excited to read Konstantin's story. the character was introduced in previous series and had me hooked, the way he was potrayed ruthless, dominant, scary, his aura etc... in this one it all went poof!!
I will never be a fan of Insta lust/love, but this one was sooo insta. and the way he behaved infront of her that was complete opposite of Konstantin we saw in previous books, dont get me wrong, i do understand the softer side etc etc but you dont lose your core nature/character, here it was complete opposite.
Tessa annoyed me on a different level but she is the type of FMC i dont mind reading.
The "check" scene in begining made me lose 80% interest right over there, this book had more Spice than plot and it was too long. I skipped and skimmed alot.
overall this one disappointed me. I am not sure if I will read Aleksei's story, though thats inriguing but seeing this one I am not sure.

Konstantin is everything I hoped he would be!
This book is full of mafia, lies, action, betrayal, passion, and more love than Konstantin could ever imagine.
He has been the perfect protagonist and has found a partner who is just right for him, a fmc I did not expect, that's for sure.
The plot is very good and kept me hooked the whole time.
Now I can't wait to read about Aleksei.

I am always a little unsure about the whole insta-love/ lust and still one just jumped into the deep end. But apart from that… I enjoyed it. It wasn’t my favourite from Lilian Harris and honestly? This Konstantin seemed kinda different from the Konstantin from the other book… the aura felt different.
But the one thing I did like? I love when Dark romance mafia/Bratva romance actually gives you dark romance ..the torture, the blood and the gore. This book delivered that and I’m so grateful cause this girl has been reading way too many dark mafia romance that ends up having very less Dark or Mafia/bratva related scenes.

I went into this book blind I didn’t even read the summary, all I knew was that it’s a mafia romance.. so right up my alley
Overall I loved it- I started to get a tad bit bored towards the end but besides that the connection b/t the MMC and FMC was cute af and I loved the MMCs infatuation for the FMC

I have no idea how to rate this book.
This was unnecessary too long, that's for sure.
I can't say I didn't like it, but I also can't say I did like it.
I mean, I was glued to it and couldn't stop reading.
But all the time I thought to myself, "why am I still reading this?"
There's nothing new in this story, and it was insta from second page.

Absolutely loved this!
I had been waiting for Konstantin’s book for so long… and he did NOT disappoint!
Ooft, this man. He was the perfect blend of dark, obsessive, sweet (but only for her), dangerous, possessive, alpha, & head of the mafia.
And I don’t usually love a FMC as much as I loved Emilia. She was such a badass! I loved that she wasn’t the usual damsel needing to be saved… she was saving herself 👏🏼
The love story between these two started off slow and interesting, and developed into something fast and intense.
The connection between them was definitely soul mate goals.
As usual, the twists in this book 👏🏼 I did guess this one but I was hoping to be wrong… I was not. BUT it was done so well and lined up the plot perfectly.
I loved everything about this one, no notes!

Oh my god I love this!! The banter, possessiveness and the way I felt like I could feel how much he cares about her!!
Safety-
•H owns a sex club and says the interview is an audition to h, they have foreplay after she asks if they’re all like that and he says “no you’re my first”
•H has a female employee the second interview go down on h to see if he can handle knowing she’s having sex with others and whether to hire her or not. He kicks the employee out and finishes it himself and gives her a different job.
•While on a lunch date H locks eyes with ow and they have some sort of stare down and she comes to the table, he tells ow that h is his girlfriend and then admits later to the h that he had sex with her once years ago.
•In highschool H had a “first love” for a bit until his father found out and killed her.
•All of h’s experiences were lackluster before H
•Neither were with others after meeting
•They do have an experience at the club where she’s blindfolded and he claims people are watching but idk I think it was just to heighten the experience I can’t imagine he’d let anyone watch and I kinda skimmed thru that scene/chapter

Konstantin By Lillian Harris ARC Review
Konstantin was a former playboy but he was a great male main character because I liked his charm and his personality. His personality made me enjoy his character even more and how gentle he was with Tessa was one of the best things I read in a while. I loved that he was stubborn and tried his best to be kind and honest to Tessa.
Tessa, was a stabby female main character who a bite and a grip to say what she wants I adored that about her and how calm and confident of who she is what made me love her. She showed me confidence and firmness and always using her strength for herself and for others
The way of how it started and ended was everything I didn’t know I needed and loved it even more. The characters proved everything I wanted and never knew I needed. I’m dying for the next book in the series I felt like this was a great 5 star read and the way the emotions felt like real feelings made me want more of this couple.

Having read prior books by this new to me author and Konstantin being mentioned and appearing several times,I was hoping for a book with him being the MMC.
Well,this book delivered all the hype and unhinged morally gray character that is Konstantin. Yes,he is a cruel and sadistic bastard to those that cross him ,but touch a hair on the MFC's head, and you will soon find a bullet to your brain or a knife lodged in your throat.He will literally scorch Earth for her.
There were a lot of twists that I didn't see coming and was as shocked as the heroine at the reveal.
This book deals with a lot of triggers,so please read the warnings on the author's book page,I did as I have certain triggers when I read.There were a few scenes that may be off-putting to some readers but I took it in consideration as to who the characters were.
Bratva Pakhan MMC completely unhinged,and Federal agent FMC determined to right a wrong and save her brother.
These two characters were the perfect match for each other.
Looking forward to Aleskhi's book ,another unhinged Bratva member.

Termine el libro y todavía estoy procesando TODO lo que acabo de leer (obvio que 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐) AME A KONSTANTIN Y TESSA 🛐🔥
La historia comienza con Tessa que es agente del FBI cambia su identidad y se infiltra en la vida de Konstantin un Mafioso Russo porque su hermano policía esta preso injustamente y al ser el único familiar que tiene quiere ayudarlo y para eso necesita buscar pruebas de Konstantin que es un hombre muy peligroso (y tan oscuro 🫦 JAJAJJA)
La relación de ellos al principio es de pura atracción porque Konstantin desde el momento en que la vió se dió cuenta que no iba a permitir que nadie pusiera sus manos en ella porque no soportaba la idea de que otra persona estuviera con ella así que en lugar de darle un puesto en su club decide que ella sera su asistente personal para que este a su entera disposición en todo momento (para todo). Al principio su relación ronda en lo sexual y ellos son muy intensos pero a medida que pasan los días los sentimientos de ambos van cambiando porque ambos abrieron sus corazones para contarse cosas que en su pasado que les dolieron y eso los unió muchisimo porque eran cosas que nadie mas sabía y fue muy doloroso y triste saber que tenían mas en común que lo que creían.
Ellos cuando ella esta en peligro se casan (el la obliga para protegerla porque así de tierno es ♥️💅🏻) y acá los sentimientos se intensifican muchísimo y hasta roza la obsesión porque el llego a un punto de decir que si a ella le pasará algo el moriría y si le creo porque el ama con tanta intensidad y vivia por ella era retorcidamente lindo. Algo que me gusto es que sus sentimientos estaban muy conectados en todo momento y sus pensamientos a medida que crecía eran los mismos: buscar la manera de permanecer juntos porque esto se volvía algo real y también veían un nuevo futuro formando una familia y la idea de estar juntos para todos la vida se hacía cada vez mas fuerte porque es algo que antes se negaban a tener pero juntos descubrieron que era posible. Bueno hasta acá llego porque spoilers pero Konstantin fue perfecto, siempre protegió a Tessa y cuando ella estuvo mal se aseguro de que estuviera bien porque a el le dolía verla mas y se sentía impotente cuando veía a la mujer que amaba sufrir y sabía que no podía hacer nada porque su dolor venía del pasado igual hizo lo posible por vengarse de lo que la daño y eso valía un montón EL FINAL AMEEE (me traume un poquito también porqué son taaaan oscuros y despiadados juntos que WTF miedito ☠️) los giros, la trama, el romance, la venganza TODO BUENÍSIMO ♥️🙏🏻

Termine el libro y todavía estoy procesando TODO lo que acabo de leer (obvio que 5/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐) AME A KONSTANTIN Y TESSA 🛐🔥
La historia comienza con Tessa que es agente del FBI cambia su identidad y se infiltra en la vida de Konstantin un Mafioso Russo porque su hermano policía esta preso injustamente y al ser el único familiar que tiene quiere ayudarlo y para eso necesita buscar pruebas de Konstantin que es un hombre muy peligroso (y tan oscuro 🫦 JAJAJJA)
La relación de ellos al principio es de pura atracción porque Konstantin desde el momento en que la vió se dió cuenta que no iba a permitir que nadie pusiera sus manos en ella porque no soportaba la idea de que otra persona estuviera con ella así que en lugar de darle un puesto en su club decide que ella sera su asistente personal para que este a su entera disposición en todo momento (para todo). Al principio su relación ronda en lo sexual y ellos son muy intensos pero a medida que pasan los días los sentimientos de ambos van cambiando porque ambos abrieron sus corazones para contarse cosas que en su pasado que les dolieron y eso los unió muchisimo porque eran cosas que nadie mas sabía y fue muy doloroso y triste saber que tenían mas en común que lo que creían.
Ellos cuando ella esta en peligro se casan (el la obliga para protegerla porque así de tierno es ♥️💅🏻) y acá los sentimientos se intensifican muchísimo y hasta roza la obsesión porque el llego a un punto de decir que si a ella le pasará algo el moriría y si le creo porque el ama con tanta intensidad y vivia por ella era retorcidamente lindo. Konstantin By Lilian Harris arc review. I was so thrilled to be chosen to read this book of her new novel. I am a big fan of her mafia romance books. I have read a lot of them already. The Mmc in this had appeared in her other book. I just loved him since the first time he appeared in the books. His character is funny and strong and alpha male type. I was so happy to read his story finally so we could see even more into his character development, and we weren’t disappointed. He was strong , dangerous and very protective too. I love to see this side of him too. This story was full of romance, drama and shocking twist and turns I didn’t see coming. The Fmc was strong and brave to , a real fighter who goes after she what’s, even while dealing with her our demons for her past. I love the banter these two have it was so much fun to read. I enjoyed every moment of them. I didn’t want this one to end. Highly recommend this book it so epic five star read. I can’t wait to see what happens next. Go check it out this books comes out sept 8!

I was really excited to read Konstantin’s story, but what I got was nothing like the character I’d seen in previous books. It was such a letdown… And don’t even get me started on Tessa—she irritated me so much. If I had to sum up this book in one word, it would be "cringe." I honestly don’t know why I keep reading this author.

Konstantin was so good!! I loved this story. Konstantin was amazing. He was protective, loving, and a bit crazy. Tessa was perfect for him. I loved her courage and her loyalty. I had the pleasure of been lucky enough to have received this as an ARC (Advance Reader Copy) all I'm going to say is Konstantin has ruined me for other MMCs. From the beginning this book grips you and has the right amount of plot and spice rolled into one and I will definitely recommend this to everyone
