Ich freue mich sehr, die Neuigkeit zu teilen, dass die Eversong-Blade bald in einer deutschen Ausgabe erscheinen wird. Es ist ein Schritt, auf den ich mich schon lange gefreut habe, damit diese Geschichte mehr Leser in ihrer eigenen Sprache erreichen kann. I won this book on Goodreads giveaways. The author was nice enough to reach out to me with a lovely note and short conversation so I moved it to the top of my reading list.
Fantasy is one of my favorite genras and this looked like it was going to be a great read. Unfortunately, the writing style didn't appeal to me. It seemed rather redundant with the same words being used frequently. The same description was often given twice in one paragraph or even a few pages later. The hehehe and hahaha when people laughed bothered me.
There were times the descriptions really brought the moment to life. I enjoyed the drastic unexpected turns it took.
I just couldn't get into this book and I really struggled through.
