SHILOH BROOKS IS IN DESPERATE NEED OF A ROOMMATE. OR TWO.
Thankfully, Ava Marshall, and her best friend Ashtyn, are also in the market. When Shiloh moves in, divorced and down on his luck, it seems like a fresh start.
Ava, a head in the clouds romantic, knows she should keep things platonic with her new roommate. Unfortunately, her heart has other plans.
A year of boating, summer camping, and friendly soccer games bring Shiloh and Ava closer together, and a burning question Can two, lonely roommates, find solace within each other? Or will they let their spark fizzle out, ruining everything they've worked so hard to build?

My sister wrote this book and she hates when I compliment her, so this is her warning to look away before I get sappy:
Moving In is a beautifully written ode to friendships, identity, and of course, love, in all its many forms. This book is filled with a certain warmth that comes with found family, and I can confidently say that I was obsessed with the characters and the relationships they form together. Perfect for fans of slow-burn and pining, pathetic men. 🩷
Side note— I will pay money for a Mattie-centric book.

Moving In is one of those romance novels that feels like a warm hug. Shiloh is a sweet, broken divorcee. Ava is a kind, sometimes lonely school teacher. Put them together, and you get a fantastic contemporary love story (spice included) that is somehow both rooted in reality and also a satisfying escape. I loved cheering for these characters, and I would recommend Moving In to anyone with a pulse.

This was such a beautiful book and I’m obsessed with it. It has the most incredible found family relationships that I’ve read in a long time. I’m quite obsessed with the bond that Shiloh was able to develop with his roommates and their friends. The joy these friends feel radiates off the page. I also loved the underlying messages of healing, trust, forgiveness of oneself…. Shiloh’s journey specifically was beautiful to watch. I didn’t want to put this book down and it was SUPER well paced. I just found all of the characters so lovable and fun. I am so excited for book 2!!
