Wishes can come true in the spooky seaside town of Elston-Fright but only if the mysterious Soul Spinners' Notes can be found. A spine-tingling adventure that answers all the questions that have been buzzing around Corpse, Girl and their friends, by the bestselling author of A Girl Called Corpse.
'Imaginative and exciting.' Judith Rossell, bestselling author of The Midwatch
There are two things about the Soul Spinners' greatest creation on which everyone agrees - one, that the Notes have the power to grant a single wish, and two ... that the Notes are lost.
When a ghost-eating wraith appears in the forgotten seaside town of Elston-Fright searching for the magical Notes, it's enough to make any kid ghost a bit nervous. Faye de Corail may have the townsfolk under her spell, but Girl, Corpse and their friends are determined to stay out of her way.
After old foes resurface and a child is snatched, Girl and Corpse begin to piece together a sinister plan that not only threatens the lives of their friends, families and the people of Elston-Fright, it may send them all to Death Proper too.
Somehow, at the heart of the mystery, lies the truth about both kid ghosts. Who are Girl and Corpse really? What is their connection to the lost Notes? And will they find answers before it's too late?
The enchanting conclusion to the bestselling and highly acclaimed Elston-Fright Tales series.

The Lost Notes of the Soul Spinners is an excellent wrap-up of the series. All the questions, and the mystery, surrounding Corpse and Girl are satisfactorily answered.
A very satisfactory ending to the Tales from Elson-Fright series, everything is wrapped up nicely. I still love Simon (the giant huntsman), he is always a delight. It's always a captivating story but I feel like we got a different Corpse in this outing, she is pushy and won't listen to others. I am so proud of Girl when she finally stands up to Corpse about these things, especially when it came to Corpse apologising. And I was so annoyed at Corpse's dad still calling her Cora even after she made it clear she didn’t want to be called that (AND her mum pointed it out to him as well.) Other than these things, it was an enjoyable book, I always get sucked in to how good these stories are.
The third and final stories in Corpse, Girl, Flip and Simon’s saga sees them battle against a number of old foes, make reconnections with their lives before death and help the people of Elston-Fright. With a cavalcade of characters from throughout the trilogy, we see how our heroes overcome the neverending battles with evil!
Reece Carter is a great writer, an author for adults and children alike. I loved reading this with my children. His words brought the world of Elston-Fright to life in their minds. And the beautiful accompanying illustrations highlight momentous moments of the story! Bravo great work and a great read.
I finally got around to reading the third and final book in the Elston-Fright series by Reece Carter @herbnerdreece I mean, it was only published in April of this year, so I don’t feel so bad. This was the perfect conclusion for the series, it answered all the questions from the first two books and wrapped them up beautifully in a sparkly bow.
