With volume 25 the Escape Arc is supposedly finished, but that feels a bit like a misnomer. The situation is hardly resolved, and while a very interesting volume, it is very much a setup for the next arc. Some of which I found great, most notably Minami and Minoru (although I do hope that somebody will point out to Tatsuya that his thinking, while absolutely in character, is domineering and feels a bit like throwing stones in a glass house even if the house is not of his own choice), some I found a bit less interesting (the events in the USNA). It was also a bit short even for a light novel. Still, a great read and looking for the next volume.
This started a little slowly. The fallout of the attempted assassination was just nonexistent. It‘s rediculous how they‘re repeating the exact same mistakes in the USNA in regards to the parasites. Minoru is up to some interesting stuff. He‘ll make for a good enemy in the next volume(s?). The end was very exciting again, though. With the second attempt with Tuman Bomba.

I couldn't wait to turn each page. The interactions between the characters, plot development, and changes between locations are set up to make you feel like you are inside the story. I found myself waiting for specific people to appear. Many surprises and promising strengthening of past friendships lay the ground work for the next exciting chapter in this series.
