A Murderously Funny Cozy Mystery of Wedding Mayhem, Hidden Motives, and Slow‑Burn Sparks
Wedding bells are ringing in Golden Glen, but beneath the celebration lies a shadow no one sees coming. Maiden is cautiously optimistic about her beloved aunt Bella’s latest gamble with love…until the groom’s complicated family arrives and brings a storm of tension with them. Old grudges, whispered secrets, and a dangerously large inheritance hang over the festivities like a gathering thundercloud.
Maiden and her sister are just trying to survive their bridesmaid duties when the wedding chaos takes a deadly turn. Suddenly, every member of the Hedgewick family becomes a suspect, including Aunt Bella. And with emotions running high, even the most innocent smiles begin to look like masks.
Maiden knows she to stay out of the investigation, especially since her romance with a certain charming police captain is finally starting to feel real. But when Bella’s future is threatened and the in‑laws grow more unpredictable by the hour, Maiden steps in, determined to uncover the truth before the killer strikes again.
Dark secrets, tangled loyalties, and sparks of romance weave through this small‑town mystery as Maiden races to protect the people she loves. If she can’t solve the case, this wedding may turn into a tragedy no one can escape.
Perfect for readers who enjoy moody cozy mysteries, witty banter, family drama, and heartfelt romance, this gripping whodunit will keep you turning pages long into the night.
I write dark cozy mysteries full of secrets, atmosphere, and heroines who are smart, sexy, and stronger than they realize. I’ve been crafting stories since childhood, starting with notebooks, moving to a brick‑like laptop, and eventually finding my voice in twisty mysteries with heart.
My books blend suspense, romance, friendship, and the messy beauty of family. I believe stories are escape hatches—small, powerful worlds we can slip into when reality gets too loud.
If you love cozies with shadows, heat, and emotional depth, I’d love to welcome you into my fictional worlds.
Took me forever to read this one. Was slow for the first 15 chapters I’d say, but was super pleased with the progress between Maiden & David’s relationship. Good ending, looking forward to book 5.
