✨ARC Review✨

Oliva and Kyler check into a hotel pretending to be her parents. Unfortunately her parents were not able to make it so she’s making the most of it. They have been friends for 8 years and shared a kiss a few years back but never attempted anything else.

Little do they know that this stay will open some fun doors. I really liked how this book talks about safe words and making sure the other person is okay. When you’re trying new things especially with a new partner. It’s always important to have that talk first.

I enjoyed all five (standalone) short stories in this Femdom Origins collection. In Book 2 Olivia thinks she crossed the line and does some naughty things to her best friend Kyler. Now, he is definitely not the innocent boy next door anymore. He is really yearning for Olivia.

These guys (in this Femdom set of stories) may not be the super-dominant alphas in the relationship but they sure know what they want and are willing to do anything their queen asks. Their sexy, dominant woman knows how to get them to behave obediently. That sounds beautiful to me 💥 😈.

I had the privilege of receiving an ARC copy of this novel, which facilitated the opportunity to provide an unbiased assessment in my review. My enjoyment of this novel was palpable, albeit the second person point of view (POV) presented an adjustment from a typical reader's perspective. Given that this writing style diverged from what I am accustomed to, it necessitated a slightly extended period to immerse myself in the narrative. However, once I acclimated to identifying the characters, my appreciation for the story truly blossomed. The concise yet alluring nature of the narrative aligned perfectly with my preference for short and engaging reads, infused with a delightful touch of spice.

3.5 stars. Olivia and Kyler, the lead characters, have been friends since high school. Now they pretend to be a married couple to take advantage of Olivia’s parents’ anniversary getaway when Olivia’s mum gets sick. Realising that their attraction is mutual, they gradually work up to play but neither realises that the other wants more than one night…

This short story is dual POV, written in first and second POV, and a spicy, gentle femdom tale, as advertised. I haven’t read much with second POV and admit that I didn’t enjoy it very much. I LOVED the blurb and premise of this story and enjoyed the spicy intimate interactions. I’d love to read a longer story from this author and will be looking for it. I enjoyed the writing but appreciate the content warnings because not everything this author writes is my flavour of spice.

I’ve never read a book that was written in second person before and it made me a little uncomfortable at first. But slowly as the story went on, it was not a problem.
A quick and dirty read.
I love how Kyler and Olivia were smitten by each other but never knew about it until the fake-dating-spa-thing!

I’d never read a book written in second person before and it threw me off a little bit. Once I started reading and got into the book though, I absolutely loved it. The spice, the romance, it was great. I’ve never read a book with a female dom, and after reading this I will definitely be seeking out more to read in the future. The dynamic between the main characters is fitting for them and the way it’s written is brilliant. Definitely recommend this book if you’re looking for a short read full of spice, romance, and a sexy female dom.

Tell me a time when exploring yourself and your sen§uality isn't the hottest thing ever. There isn't one.
I loved this collection of short stories of femdoms being their queens.

As always, we never want a good thing to end, The same can be said with these, but truthfully I wouldn't change a thing.

They are beautiful 'sound-bites' so to speak of different k!nk dynamics and relationships.

I love that M Kay promotes a message that is dear to my heart. Consent is everything and consent is sexy. - The difference between abu§e and bd§m is consent and education! - I applaud Ms Noir for showing this through every story.

If you are of a curious mind and want to read about strong passionate 'couples' these are perfect for you.

Olivia and Kyler have been best friends since high school. Kyler has been attracted to Olivia, but has never said anything or pursued a more physical relationship until one weekend the two of them use a weekend getaway her parents can’t attend. A night in the hot tub instigates some kink experimentation, which then carries over to their return home.
Short, explicit read of kinks tried and planned for the future, most of them with Olivia as the female dominant. Could be intro to femme Dom kink for new readers.

The story is fine; the relationship is lovely, and I likely would have really, really liked this short story, but past tense, second person is a really jarring way to read this kind of story. Unfortunately for me, it was so off-putting that I did not find it enjoyable, and wouldn't continue the series. Again, if you have no aesthetic issues like that, then the story is okay, and I'd recommend giving it a go, but for me, it doesn't work. Which is sad, because I was looking forward to finding an author in this genre which I could read more often.

This was written in 2nd person and I have no clue why. That in addition to the point of views switching mid chapter. This was extremely confusing and difficult to read, even though it was only like 50 pages.
I hope the other books in the series aren’t written in second person
