This was a fast-paced suspenseful read with great characters, a wonderful storyline, family dynamics, new characters, and twists and turns. I enjoyed catching up with the Knight Tactical team, the growing sibling relationship Ronan has with his half-brother Christian, and the chemistry between Ronan and Maya. Looking forward to the next installment in this series.

A former Navy Seal falls in love with a NCIS agent well on the job.
Enjoyed being back in Hope Landing it's been awhile. So glad so be back with the original Knight Tactical Group. So happy for the new group coming up. Ronan and Maya story was exciting from the get go. Maya fell in with Ronan and Axel in the quest to find who killed their friend. Being treated as criminals by the good guys. They ran to Knight Tactical for their help. It ment for Ronan being around his brother Christian. They got to know each other and worked well togethor. Their crews worked well togethor. Maya and Ronan love grew but he didn't think he wasn't ready for it. But his crew and even his brother knew Maya was the one. Ronan wanted what his brother and all those around him had. That was God and the love a good women Maya. They both found a new family in Hope Landing. Maya father found a new family with Knight Tactical. So glad to be around Jack and Kelli and their kids again. I was privileged to read their story first. It was my first book by Edie James. Looking forward to reading more in the series and also the first one. After reading Ronan story I want to read Christian. I hope I don ' t have to wait long for another one to be on sale.

Superb! 5 Glittering Stars!
This is my first book by this author, but it will definitely not be my last. This novel had everything I look for in a story: an excellent plot, finely drawn realistic characters that come to life on the page, suspense, action, breathtaking drama, and most importantly, a clean read. That's a lot to ask for in a book, but this one had it all and more. As an avid reader for more than 60 years, it's increasingly hard to find a really good story without profanity and graphic scenes of intimacy on every page, as well as references to faith.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book; it held my interest completely and kept me entertained and enthralled. I was immersed in the lives of these comrades, their actions, care, and concern for each other. The family interactions were compelling, and I could go on, but it's been a long time since I enjoyed a book as much as this one. Mesmerizing, intriguing, non-stop action, truly remarkable individuals that use their skills in a positive way. I won't recap the plot of the storyline; I'll just say it was exceptional.y you won't be disappointed! I have downloaded the remaining books in this series and look forward to hours of entertainment. Kudos to the author!

This book is an absolute thrill ride, exploding with action from page one!
What a joy to meet back up with Knight Tactical and all our favorite operators!
Action-packed, suspense, intrigue, non-stop adrenaline pumping action, betrayal, fear, exotic locations, romance, and faith, but more than that always pointing to Hope.
I love how Eddie James has the ability to always point us in the right direction!
No matter the darkness in Ronan and Maya's past or the adversities they encounter, there is aways, Hope!!
Anxiously anticipating the rest of the teams' adventures!

Not quite 4
Having several of the author's series, I've found a pattern. That's not a bad thing, but the repetition is wearing thin with me. The writing is enjoyable, clean, and some characters profess some semblance of faith. The characters are well developed, but there's little doubt from page two on who the newest couple will be - though great pains are taken for neither of them to admit an attraction until all mutual friends consider them too blind and inept to speak true feelings to the other.

Brilliant
I have loved all the Hope Landing books.
This New Recruits is truly brilliant. Merging the original team with this new team brought a whole new story line.
The story has so many twists and turns I really didn't want to put it down.
This is the best yet!
As always faith gently woven in to the story line . All without the need for bad language, sex or gore. Yet still incredibly gripping.

Fast paced, action filled, and suspense all rolled into a great book.
I read this book in two evenings. I had to make myself put it down the first night, and now I have finished it because I could not put it down and it is 12:43 a.m. What a great read. If you like fast paced intrigue and mystery coupled some faith and prayer based fiction book, add in a dash of humor; then this is definitely a book for you to read. Go on pick it up, you won’t be sorry.

Another new author who writes exceptional suspense! This is the first book of a second series, I will have to go back to the first book from the original series. All the characters are so interesting and these are well paced, fast moving - dragging you in. Another book I could barely put down. Action that isn’t detailed to the point it grosses me out or makes me want to stop reading more- my favorite kind! Too many books go into gruesome detail that I would rather not read.

I was excited to see the author was doing a continuation of the Hope Landing Series. And this first book did not disappoint. Awesome read. Awesome characters and plot. Loved the building relationship between the two brothers. This was a very suspenseful read I could not put down.
There were a couple uses of "King James donkey", but that was all. Can't wait to read more of this series.

I really love this book! The characters have scars and depth. They are loyal and devoted to each other and to whatever cause they are fighting. The depth written into many of the scenes is wonderful. I love that faith is sprinkled into the story. There is plenty of suspense and action and a very happy ending.

love the fast pace of this - with all the different abilities that are brought to the front, even the non-techy way of finding the bad guys. loved the different characters and how they connect throughout all the Hope Landing books.

There are two intriguing lead characters marching through this book. It’s interesting to discover what develops with them but I also found it really fun to follow the interactions between a large cast of characters also marching along in this book. The action is fast-paced with a lot of twists and surprises; it’ll keep you turning the pages as fast as you’re able to read and you’ll find it hard to put the book down.
