Exceptionally gifted to his own detriment, Prince Cecil had always found life effortlessly mundane. One ordinary day, his life took an unexpected turn when he became engaged to Miss Bertia, the Chancellor's daughter. This engagement, however, was anything but typical.

So the "heroine" who isn't really the main character of this story is an idiot.

I try to see things from her point a point of view but she's dumb.

She really doesn't understand that the life she's living is real. She doesn't get that yes its the story you read. Yes the character was doing everything up to script up until you get to the school event. And you can clearly see that things aren't the same. So instead of her using her brain she continues to be dumb.

Now the Female Main Lead, also knows she's been reborn into a life like the book. But she's making the best out of it. And unknowningly because of her personality gets people to love her and be protective of her. Even though she knows how the story suppose to go, her actions switches it a tad bit and she will eventually get her own happy ending. If she continues the way that she's going about thing. I absolutely love this book, i just cannot feel bad for the "Heroine " when she acts the way she does.

oddly enough, the manga is nearly a 1:1 adaptation, but i feel like the story worked better there
