I was actually pleasantly surprised by this one. At first I thought it was intense on the spice right off the bat, but once I got to know the characters more I was here for it. Seeing Dima soften over time as he falls for Summer is super cute. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the writing (kinda boring, few descriptions)

Loving
The way the met was a little unusual, the circumstance could've been deadly.
I enjoyed their bantering. She never backed down. The love they shared was awesome. The closeness he had with his non blood brothers was more than what blood brothers had.
I enjoyed their love story.

Loved it but
I loved this book but I didn't like that there were questions at the end of the book that weren't answered. Happy ending of course but I'm assuming the questions will be answered in the next book. I say read this book anyway. Shirley

Additional Editing Needed
The erotic scenes were good enough but the rest of the story was rushed and messy. The book needs to be proofread and reorganized or re-edited, a lot of repeating and contradictory scenes.

I received this book as Goodreads giveaway. It's my first experience with this author, and it certainly won’t be my last! The writing is engaging, and filled with twists that kept me on the edge of my seat. The blend of romance, peril, and intricate characters is perfectly executed, resulting in a thrilling read that’s hard to set aside.

I received this book for free as a Giveaway.
Initially I was very excited to read this book as I am always a sucker for a good love story, but in the end, it left me disappointed. There were countless grammatical errors that I felt needed to be addressed with proper editing. As far as the story goes, I found it somewhat predictable and lacking depth. There was some spice to the sex scenes in the beginning, but they felt repetitive as the book progressed. I would read a sequel to this book, for a sense of closure with the characters, but would lower the bar for my expectations and would likely put it towards the back of my list instead of at the front.

Basic quick read. Mafia boss meets the one.

Great story
If you enjoy stories featuring a possessive alpha male and a strong-willed woman, this one is for you. Dima is fiercely protective when he finds the woman he never expected to meet in the most unexpected way. He'll stop at nothing to keep Summer safe. Highly recommended!

Poorly written and poorly edited. Practically no character development. Just a paper thin plot line and some lazy sex scenes.
