Al igual que la serie principal, nuestra edición de RETRY es 2 en 1, conteniendo la historia completa en un TOMO ÚNICO en formato B6 con sobrecubierta. Además, en su interior, se incluirán las ilustraciones de portada originales de ambos tomos a modo de páginas a color.

I felt sorry that Arisu had to come back to play in the Borderland again! And it was a heart game nonetheless! However the game was interesting. The ending was abrupt but okay. Alice is Borderland is a high tension series, and this sequel also kept it up.

Alice in Borderland: Retry happens years after the original events - Arisu and Usagi are now married and they are expecting a child. Everything should be fine and dandy, right? Yet while walking trough Shibuya, Arisu is struck by a falling billboard and he enters Borderlands. Again.

This time, we don't get multiple games. Just one - the Nine of Hearts. And as we know from the past, this type of game targets emotions over logic, forcing you to choose your own life or people around you. This game really can exploit player's weaknesses at times, often gaslighting them.

In conclusion, it was sentimental to be back in this world. Especially seeing Arisu again. He was my fave AIB character. ''Retry'' gave me enough tension, high-stakes and sincere moments. And btw, it does have a positive ending for Arisu and Usagi :)

urghhh the hearts games always get me. honestly i'm just so sad for Himari and her dad and Nanase. a survival game designed for everyone to survive togethet if you look a little closer. i don't know, it hurts that everyone could have been saved but they weren't, especially for Himari losing her dad. she's so real for giving Kitou her death card. what a shame that it was only one game though.

also, girl dad Arisu exists now.

Crec que un Arisu més adult i una història on pressuposes els jocs anteriors és el que fa que aquest epíleg/postfaci contingui unes dimensions brutals.
Haro Aso no ha inclòs Chishiya, però aquestes històries no aguantarien si no et parlessin del mateix dilema amb una visió de sanitaris

Aro Haso ci catapulta di nuovo in Borderland, tornando con un volume extra, che va a concludere la fortunata serie di manga.
La storia è ambientata otto anni dopo il catastrofico evento che ha trascinato milioni di persone nel misterioso mondo di Borderland e Haso ha trovato il modo per dare una conclusione felice alla storia di Arisu.
Mi ritengo fortunata per essere riuscita ad apprezzare così tanto la prima serie di manga mai letta finora, spianando la strada per un nuovo tipo di esplorazione letteraria.

🎲Con questo sequel in volume unico veniamo trasportati nuovamente in Borderland, otto anni dopo.
Ormai Arisu è cresciuto, adulto, con una carriera e con delle nuove responsabilità, la più grande si sta avverano quando viene catapultato di nuovo nell'altro mondo, nell'altra Tokyo: sta diventando padre.

❤️Ed ecco di nuovo i giochi, deve partecipare al 9 di cuori, è confuso non sà perché ma-.... Ma lui si ricorda questo posto, inizia a ricordare tutto compresi i giochi e le loro regole tanto spietate quanto astute. Dovranno davvero sacrificarsi uno ad uno per far sì che ne sopravviva solo uno di giocatore?
"Questo è un game in cui vivranno coloro che volete che vivano. Proteggete chi vi sta a cuore dall'invasione aliena."

Nela speranza che con la nuova stagione non facciano un casino troppo differente dalla serie TV, già che nella serie di alluda ad un game dedicato al Joker invece che al 9 di cuori come accade effettivamente in questo sequel non mi convince, ma vedremo cosa combineranno, chissà.

La storia ha come protagonista, ancora una volta, Arisu, diventato uno psicologo.
A causa della caduta di un cartellone pubblicitario durante un tifone, Arisu cade in coma e torna nel mondo di “Borderland” (al confine tra la vita e la morte, “Imawa no kuni no alice”). Il game è il 9 di cuori, ovvero “Invasione della terra”: l’obbiettivo consiste nel sopravvivere ad un totale di sei round, cercando di proteggere dall’invasione aliena i propri compagni.
Haro Aso sfrutta anche in questo caso il game per incoraggiare il lettore a riporre fiducia negli altri, a supportare ed aiutare indistintamente chi ci sta attorno. Da questa storia capiamo inoltre che lo scrittore crede nella redenzione delle proprie colpe.
Il volume si conclude con la nascita del figlio di Arisu e Usagi.

Beh, l'avevo comprato perché sono una completista ma non mi aspettavo molto da questo volume extra. E invece le mie aspettative sono state superate. E di parecchio anche.

Arisu si ritrova a Borderland per la seconda volta e un po' si ricorda quello che era successo dieci anni prima. E si ritrova nel bel mezzo di un gioco di cuori...

Bella storia. Un po' meno belli i disegni: si nota che sono passati dieci anni e lo stile dell'autore è cambiato parecchio.

Però bello, dai! Adesso posso dare definitivamente l'addio a Borderland. Sempre che non mi metta a guardare anche la serie.

Dopo 8 anni da Borderland Arisu ci fa ritorno e ci viene illustrato un solo game per tutto il volume. In questo lasso di tempo tra la fine di Alice in borderland e l'uscita di Retry Haro Aso è migliorato moltissimo dal punto di vista grafico e di storytelling creando un'opera disegnata molto bene e narrata alla perfezione.
Devo dire che non avevo grandi aspettative, solo la risposta a una domanda che mi era rimasta e che ovviamente non ho ottenuto, ma a parte ciò è stata una lettura molto piacevole e scorrevole, piena di colpi di scena, incalzante ed elettrizzante.
Se vi è piaciuta la serie principale amerete questo volume!

Żałuję że nie czytałam tego przez serialem bo wtedy miałabym małe wymagania ale się pozytywnie zaskoczyła xd w szoku jestem że Netflix Japan cooked z 3 sezonem I zrobili to milion razy lepiej niż manga. Tutaj nic nie jest wyjaśnione po prostu ma wypadek i trafia tam znów. Ta gra wydaje się ciekawa ale nie jestem fanką overall a postacie też są meh. Again szok że serial jest milion razy lepszy

A good sequel but one game compared to the entire original series is deemed to be not as good.
Also, it raised many questions for me. Like, the people from the meteor had to go against all the cards but here is only one (9 of hearts). Why? Does the number of people trapped in the borderland change the amount of games?
They don't have the chance of becoming citizens either. Or even to choose between multiple games.
Idk, I feel a lot of new questions raised and will never be answered. That kind of bothers me.
However, the game itself and the characters is very well made, as always.

I loved this mini sequel to the original Alice in Borderland series. It was fascinating to see how the Borderland mythos worked for smaller scale incidents vs the massive one in the original series. I loved the death game and the moral behind it, and it was fun getting to see our main characters and what they're up to so many years later. I wish we could've seen some more of the other players from the original series, but I definitely became attached to our new characters throughout this read. I definitely recommend enjoying this short follow-up.

Alice in Borderland Retry es la continuación, 8 años después, de los eventos de la historia original. Arisu y Usagi ya están casados y esperando un bebé, pero Borderlands hará que Arisu juegue una partida más.

Netflix estrena esta semana la 3a temporada 🔥 y tendrá elementos de este manga, además de mucho contenido nuevo centrado en El Joker.

Le doy un 3/5 ⭐ porque la forma de sobrevivir el juego era predecible desde el inicio.

Honestly I had high hopes for this but was sorely disappointed. It was obvious the publisher only wanted to make some bucks off a popular manga series. Sure Haro Aso was also excited to take it on too but it definitely fell flat. The art was second grade compared to the original series and aliens? Really? Kind of pulling stuff from his other series eh? I don't know but this just fell flat on me while the original series had me thinking long after it was done. Sad.

3'5 (spoiler) ha sido todo bastante predecible en especial si alguna vez has visto cierta película de Saw, y al saber ya donde estaba y qué pasaba le ha quitado parte de la emoción. Pero me encantan los diálogos y las reflexiones que se extraen del juego.

Ne avevamo bisogno? Non credo. Però ritornare nel Borderland è sempre magico, specialmente quando i giochi che si vivono sono quelli di cuori.
Probabilmente meriterebbe anche una valutazione inferiore per il peso che ha nell’ambito della storia completa (era evitabile), ma sono una persona semplice e leggerei (e guarderei) QUALSIASI COSA a tema Alice in Borderland.

Un ritorno breve ma intenso nel mondo di Borderland, che riesce comunque a ricreare tensione e atmosfera. Una lettura veloce ma piacevole per chi ha amato la serie.
