This is a well written short story with strong characters in Frankie, Sean and his young daughter Grace. The author brings a sweet, unexpected romance with some sparks along the way. She moves the story quickly and smoothly with her descriptive scenes and delivers an entertaining read.

It was a cute short story. This is the first book that I read by this author. Frankie and Sean had a cute story. It was a clean romance. Frankie, an event planner, was for the 50th anniversary of Candy Cane Lane. Sean is a carpenter and he has an 8 year old daughter. Frankie enlisted the help of Sean and his daughter, Grace to help with the festival. They were not expecting to be sparks between them. Frankie had the pressure of this Candy Cane Lane Festival might be the last one. I could relate to Sean. Because of I have been a single parent. Being a single parent can be hard.
This book could be read in one setting. You could spend a winter afternoon listening to it, drinking hot chocolate and snuggling up with a blanket. This is a great book.
I enjoyed reading about Frankie and Sean. Reading their love story unfold during the 50th annual Candy Cane Lane Christmas Festival was just what i needed to jump start my holiday spirit this year. Frankie was informed that this may be the last year of the festival, and she was inspired to revive the holiday festival. She enlisted the help of single dad Sean and his adorable daughter, Grace.
This is a sweet and cozy story that ends nicely and well but you could easily read more about this couple in the future just to see more of what they've done.

I enjoyed this fun Christmas story as Frankie, an event planner, was hired for the 50th anniversary of Candy Cane Lane. She had the added pressure that this might just be the last year for the annual festival. The story was filled with faith, romance, and new beginnings when Frankie met Sean, a single parent to eight year old Grace. He was a carpenter and she enlisted his help to fulfill her plans for the festival. Neither one of them was expecting there to be sparks between them. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

Grab your kindle, a nice cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows of course and light your fireplace because you are going to be settling down comfortably on your couch with this fantastic heartwarming romance book. WOW Kayla has a book that should be a Hallmark movie right here waiting for you to enjoying yourself. I loved this book, and the characters really make your spirits bright with happiness.

Such a sweet and festive read! Loved how Lowe wove Christianity into this book- She beautifully incorporated themes of forgiveness, faith, and finding joy in simple moments throughout the book.
“You’ve shown me that it’s possible to find joy and laughter again, even after the darkest of times,” -Shawn
I listened to this book on audio, which was AI narrated. AI narration is awful. I was looking for just a cute little Christmas story in the same vein as a Hallmark movie. Unfortunately, this was not it. There was no substance and what should’ve been the cute parts weren’t cute. However, the AI narration made it 1000 times worse.
This was a sweet read. . Frankie is an event planner working on the 50th. Candy Cane Lane festival. Local carpenter Sean is helping her. He's a widower with a daughter. Enjoyed watching them grow closer. Received a free copy.
