Do I have a sign on my back that says, ‘Love her and leave her’? Because that’s what it feels like these days.
I thought I’d never see Justin again when he ghosted me after the best night of my life. But guess who shows up at the company Christmas party months later wanting to talk? I don’t think so Mr. Burns. Burn me once, shame on you. Burn me twice, shame on me. That’s sober Lucy talking. Drunk Lucy has a different idea—she asks him to stand in as my fake fiancé this Christmas. Thank God he’s smart enough to say no… or is he?
One week. One bed. How could I resist?
I had my reasons for disappearing on Lucy, and I’ve regretted it ever since. So, when the opportunity presents itself, I can’t refuse my shot at redemption. Just as it starts to feel like a second chance, the tree comes crashing down.
Filled with humor, heart, and holiday magic, Holidate Pursuit is a fun, steamy romance about second chances and choosing love over all else.
This is an interconnected standalone with no cliffhanger in The Pursuit Series. It can be read alone, but is best enjoyed in order to follow the timeline and avoid spoilers for additional books in the series.
Bethany Rosa has been passionate about romance since her teenage years. After raising four wonderful daughters, she embarked on a writing career, channeling her love for the genre into crafting captivating stories. Bethany enjoys creating sexy tales featuring alpha males who fall for strong, independent women, making the chase irresistible. Besides writing, she loves to travel, especially to visit her two (soon to be three) daughters living in Europe. When not globetrotting, she enjoys time at home with her husband, dividing her days between the serene mountains of Montana and the sunny landscapes of Arizona.
💚Holidate is a charming fast-paced holiday romance novella. This story follows two people with a past but Lucy needs someone to bring someone home as her fiancé during holiday season and unfortunately fortunately Justin is available! 🤭What starts as a playful arrangement quickly turns into something deeper, with plenty of laugh-out-loud moments and heartwarming scenes along the way.✨ I loved we were able to get a book for supporting characters from first book in the Pursuit series. The chemistry is fire and steamy 🔥 between the Lucy and Justin and feels natural and engaging, making their journey from pretend partners to something more truly enjoyable. 🤌🏽The witty dialogue and playful banter keep the story lively, while the tender moments give it emotional depth. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!! 🙌🏽

This was a perfect Holiday Novella & I knew it wouldn’t disappoint! Justin & Lucys story ended exactly how I wished it would. The tension between those two made the spicy scenes 10x better! If you’re looking to add another series to your tbr, you won’t be disappointed with this one! Start with pursuit of innocence first.
No spoiler review! I received an ARC for reviewing purposes.
This book starts (sequentially) at the end of Pursuit of Innocence. The main character is Lucy, who is mentioned in the 1st book, but not developed until Holidate. The first pages of the story keep you guessing who the male interest will be. It doesn’t take long to get into the meat of the story.
Once again the author balances a story line with some spicy scenes without being gratuitous, and ties in the characters we know (even at the end leading into Dangerous Pursuit.) It’s a quick read, perfect for a few hours of a book break. The author’s style is an easy, enjoyable read that captures your attention and creates interest for the characters.
‘Holidate Pursuit’ is a fun, spicy, fast paced holiday novella. Your main character is Lucy who is mentioned in in the 1st book, you get to learn a lot more absout her character in this book. The love interest is Justin, normally ‘J’ names are a red flag in my book but that doesn’t apply to Justin in any way. You’ll love Justin & you’ll love getting to see his and Lucy’s journey. Their journey starts off real but then he ghosts her, once he’s back in her life it’s to be her fake fiancé. With their chemistry and banter, you’ll have a blast getting to read how that plays out. Thank you Bethany Rosa for an ARC of this novella, I had so much fun reading it.
ARC REVIEW: I thoroughly enjoyed this dual pov spicy Christmas read😍 I loved the banter between Lucy & Justin. I didn’t know how I would feel about the fake fiancé aspect but I totally was into it! & it left me anxious with how their situation would play out. This was a nice little addition to the Pursuit series! I would love to read more about Lucy & Justin to see if he proposes for real eeek!
ARC review This book starts out as a typical fake fiancee between two people who had a previous fling, one thing leads to another and you know how it ends up. This was a quick read, had me laugh a few times and my jaw dropped at other times. Very spicy too. I was disappointed when it ended, felt abrupt to me.
*ARC* I absolutely love this book! I need the next one ASAP! I love me a good workplace romance. And these characters were relatable and not excessive in any way. This was the first book from the author and I couldn't be happier. I loved the writing style and the storyline. I only wish it was longer!! 😅 A good way to start my holiday reads!
This was a fast paced, spicy, holiday novella. I’ve read this series backwards starting with book 2 and then 1.5. I haven’t read book 1 and I feel like it connects enough that you’ll want to read in order. There was lots of chemistry between the main characters during spicy scenes yet it wasn’t till the end I felt like they had it outside the bedroom. Overall it was a good book and I do feel like the series would be better if you’re not like me and read it in order!
This was a cute short love story. Absolutely loved it. Love when a quick read actually has a plot. This was a great one. The spice was definitely spicy 🌶️ 🌶️🌶️ I love the characters interactions from the other books
Another great short holiday book to get you in the feels.
I love this short little novel I think it was good in between this book series to get to know the security guards that are involved in this series. I love how protect each other in their own little way but didn’t show it to each other they let event place out and heart got broke but as the story goes on something shifts each between these two characters and they are throwing caution with wind and doing what they finally want for once and don’t care what about people that don’t want to see them together think anymore and I freaking love everything part of that I kind of wish it was longer but it was the perfect little book for this series.
Loved this book as quick a read. I don't think I've read a holiday book that actually had a plot. I love when small side characters get a little more story for them.
The chemistry between Lucy and Justin was just immaculate. Absolutely loved their banter. I didn't really care for her dad, but all stories gotta have at least one character you don't like 😅
My favorite thing about this book was seeing more of Lily and Sebastian, I absolutely love them! Another thing that I loved was how this book took place after Pursuit of Innocence and about half way through Dangerous Pursuit.
I absolutely love Bethany's writing style, it is very simple and easy to read. I can't wait for her other book next year! 😀
Did I enjoy this book? No. I DEVOURED this book! Oh em gee, this was so adorable! Like a Hallmark movie, but spice level cranked up a few notches.
Lucy is a feisty young woman with the brains as well as the beauty. One sticking point, though, is her wealthy family, a topic she avoids at all costs. When this family starts pressuring her about her future, she decides to pull the fiancé card to get them off her back. Of course, you all know how this story goes, you can't cry "Fiancé" and not prove it, sister!
Luckily (unluckily?), her ex, Justin, is available to step up to the plate and help convince the 'rents. There's just one small issue: Justin ghosted her after an amazing night in bed and they've yet to reconcile. Whoops!
What follows is such a cute tale of perfect little tiffs, foot-in-mouth laughables, and some heart-warming moments as well. As the story played out, I fell in love with the both Lucy and Justin and was rooting for them the whole way. These two are on fire and meant for each other! I was laughing out loud at the playful banter between them, raising eyebrows at the suggestive language, and drooling over the spicy scenes. Bethany Rosa knows how to craft a pair that melds together just so smoothly! Not only do you love the characters individually, but you just can't imagine them as anything other than a couple.
If you love stories of second chances and true love, you've got it all wrapped up in a bow here. This was the perfect segway into my holiday reading and I can't wait to see what comes next from Bethany's world!

Holidate Pursuit The Pursuit Series, Book 2 By: Bethany Rosa Narrated by: Ava Erickson, Mason Lloyd
I loved the first book of Bethany Rosa’s “The Pursuit” series and was looking forward to stepping back into the wonderful world she created. This second book of the series is Lucy and Justin’s story, a fabulous holiday, fake-fiancé, second chance romance, that captivates your attention and tugs at your heartstrings the entire time. Having met both characters in the first book of the series. I was looking forward to learning more about them. Lucy is Sebastian Dubree’s assistant, and Justin works security for Sebastian and had him protecting Lily. Lucy and Justin hit it off, and after spending time together, which included several steamy encounters, she thought their relationship was going somewhere, but then he ghosted her. Justin realized his mistake, not just in ghosting her but the reason he did it, and now he wants to make it right and get back on track with her, except she is not so forgiving. Lucy needs to get her parents off her back and stop them from trying to set her up with someone, so she has a plan, and Justin finds his way back into her grace by being her fake fiancé for her holiday visit to her parent’s home. It was great to watch these two reacquaint themselves, give in to the undeniable chemistry between them and see their relationship morph into something so much more. Justin, being noble, thinks he is doing the right thing, but he is not, and thank goodness Lucy has a protective brother looking out for her. This novella-sized book packs a lot of story, and I enjoyed watching it all unfold — the drama, angst, witty dialogue and humor, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance. Bethany Rosa, thank you for another fabulous story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 Ava Erickson and Mason Lloyd were the perfect cast to bring these characters to life, giving each a voice that was fitting and believable. Erickson was a natural in Lucy’s role, grasping every aspect of her personality, her wit, fierceness, strength and determination. Lloyd was just as amazing in Jason’s role, showcasing his personality and demeanor perfectly. You could hear and feel how much heart they put into their performance as they conveyed all their characters’ emotions. They are a pleasure to listen to, and their entertaining performance rivets you to the story, captivating your attention the entire time.
Holidate Pursuit by Bethany Rosa, brought to life by the excellent narration of Ava Erickson and Mason Lloyd, is a charming, fast-paced holiday romance novella that is an absolute must-read for the festive season. This delightful story focuses on Lucy and Justin, supporting characters from the first book in the Pursuit series, making it a wonderful chance to catch up with familiar faces.
The narrative kicks off when Lucy, determined to avoid awkward family questions, needs someone to stand in as her fake fiancé for the holidays. Who should show up months after ghosting her following the best night of her life? None other than Justin. What begins as a playful arrangement—a "holidate" involving one week and one bed—quickly turns into something much deeper. Justin, who disappeared for reasons he immediately regretted, sees this as his shot at redemption, and thankfully, he's not smart enough to say no to the opportunity.
The chemistry between Lucy and Justin is immediate, natural, and absolutely fire, making the steamy scenes even better due to the intense tension between them. Bethany Rosa masterfully balances a compelling storyline with spicy scenes without ever becoming gratuitous. The witty dialogue and playful banter keep the story lively and provide plenty of laugh-out-loud moments, while the tender scenes lend genuine emotional depth to their journey from pretend partners to true lovers.
The author’s style is an easy, enjoyable read that captures your attention quickly. This novella, which starts sequentially at the end of Pursuit of Innocence and even ties in characters leading into Dangerous Pursuit, is a quick, perfect book break. It successfully delivers a fun, steamy romance filled with humor, heart, and holiday magic, reminding us that sometimes the best second chances arrive wrapped up in Christmas paper. Holidate Pursuit ended exactly how I wished it would and is highly recommended. If you're looking to add a fantastic series to your TBR, start with Pursuit of Innocence first—you won't be disappointed.

Holidate Pursuit is an incredible, humorous, and undoubtedly riveting Christmas story. A story as arresting as a winter snowfall is written by Bethany Rosa's accomplished combination of humor, emotion, and just the perfect amount of holiday magic. Our FMC heroine, Lucy, is tough and vulnerable, and her pathway from anguish to love is riveting. She is looking for someone who could show that love can be restored after it has been lost, not just a fake fiancé. She is so approachable because of her bravery and sense of humor, and it is truly amazing to witness her develop over this story! . Justin is full of charm and mystery, Bethany has created his personality with all my favourites features. Although it's a daring move for him to return after ignoring Lucy, it's his development and regret that really set him apart. As they exchange emotional moments, smiles, and, of course, palpable heat, their connection grows stronger and stronger every second. What began as a lighthearted remark rapidly evolves into something more serious and meaningful. It's thrilling to watch them twirl around one another as they both attempt to mend the scars from the past while striving toward an unexpected future! . The story is just tempting; it has the proper amount of passion and suspense to keep the reader turning the pages. The spirit of the season infects their blossoming romance, making every moment between them feel like a lovely present wrapped in sparkling lights and tender vows, and the festive setting just intensifies the attraction of it. Writing with delicacy and versatility, Bethany Rosa has a remarkable talent for elevating even the most ordinary happenings to important ones. Her skill in fusing heartbreak and laughter with the season's warmth makes Holidate Pursuit a remarkable romance that will make your heart sing! . The end was delicious fascinating, and bursting with love—everything you could hope for in a holiday romance. This Christmas, you should definitely read Holidate Pursuit. It's a wonderful love tale that will make you laugh, cry, and swoon. I didn't simply put Holidate Pursuit aside after finishing it; instead, I carried a bit of its spirit with me. It's a story that should be experienced opposed to being only read. Bethany Rosa creates experiences instead of only writing stories. And this one is a present, waiting to be opened and held dear, wrapped in words that sparkle like new snow!
3.5⭐️ “With you, I’m whole. You’re meant for me, and I’m meant for you, f*ck all the consequences. I’ll grovel as much as it takes for one last chance.” ❤️

For what we got in the book, I enjoyed it. But by the time I go to the end, I was hoping for a full length book. Things I would’ve loved to see that wasn’t included .. - there was plenty of spice, but to me there wasn’t much romance. I would’ve liked a bigger love confession/more swoony quotes and moments - them telling her parents they were still going to get married - the real proposal/wedding/vows/kids/their life & HEA afterwards
It took a minute to get on board with them as a couple. I came around to Lucy eventually but I didn’t really care for her at first. She asked Justin to come home with her for Christmas as her fiancé under the guise that her parents were expecting him and never even told them he was coming .. even when she knew how were parent were. She bad mouthed him to her brother so he already didn’t like him from jump. She also didn’t let her know the dynamic about her family. It felt like she set Justin up in a sense and he went in completely blind. When he expressed his frustration about finding all of that out she kept trying to turn it back on him and the fact that he ghosted her in the first place. I liked Justin though. The spice was spicing and he held his own against her brother and her dad. He knew he messed up with how he ghosted her, although he could’ve told her the reasoning a lot sooner but his reasoning was understandable, and you could tell he cared for her and really wanted a second chance. I felt bad for how her father made him feel but I’m glad she gave him another chance in the end.
Thank you to author Bethany Rosa for this ARC in exchange for a honest review. __________________________________________ This holiday novella is jam packed with drama, tension and lots of spice. It is a quick read that doesn't leave you feeling like you were missing out on anything.
Justin and Lucy's story has all the bells and whistles that could reasonably be put into such a short story. There was sweetness, betrayal, snake like family members, second chances, chemisty for days and the happily ever after we all wish for.
Justin is a typical alpha male who thinks he knows best and, of course, puts his foot in it when he thinks he is making the best decisions for Lucy - Some men just never learn!
Lucy is independent and forging her own life away from her family's wealth. She wants Justin, but after being burnt by Mr Burns, she is suitably hesitant to give him a second or third chance, but third time's the charm, isn't it?
These 2 are drawn to each other like a moth to a flame and when they give in, sparks fly and it gets steamy!
Did I want to smack Justin over the head with something heavy for frustrating the hell out of me? Yes, yes I did! I was relieved that he figured it out in the end though.
There was just enough back and forth between Lucy and Justin. Add the drama thrown in by snobbish family and a cheating ass of an ex that brings out the alpha male in Justin, and you are hooked!
This was a quick read and works well when you need your fix but don't have the time for a longer read. Don't worry though, you honestly get it all despite the length of the book!
Loved Lucy & Justin’s story! The chemistry between the two is palpable and their banter is absolutely hilarious - I was cracking up!
There was just something about Lucy that was so relatable. After being ghosted by Justin, she just wants to move on and meet Mr. Right. However her overbearing parents throw a wrench in that plan by constantly trying to set her up - then comes the idea for a fake fiancé to get them off her back.
You know the moment Justin agrees to be her fake fiancé things are going to be good. He could say no, but he wants to atone for the mistakes he made with Lucy before and how badly he hurt her, even if he thought he was doing the right thing at the time.
The spice is SPICY! Justin is a dirty mouthed MMC who knows just how to rile up Lucy, which creates such incredible tension and banter. Lucy still cares deeply for Justin but hesitates to let Justin in again. Justin doesn’t want to take his second chance with Lucy for granted, so he wants to show her that his feelings aren’t fake. Both are trying to overcome their own anxieties and doubts so they can be together. The way they connect and listen to one another makes them so good together.
If you’re looking for a fast paced second chance holiday novella - this is the one for you! It is filled with witty banter, meddling and friend/sibling, and loads of tension leading to explosive spice!
I'm OBSESSED with this series!! I flew through the first audiobook and I just finished devouring this one. I will be starting Dangerous Pursuit next! I have fallen in love with these characters. I love that we get more time with Sebastian and Lily in this one as well. Justin & Lucy were destined to be together and I loved their story!
The narrators Ava Erickson and Mason Lloyd did a phenomenal job telling this story! Their voices will keep you entertained and hold your attention the entire time your listening to this book. Their voices also made me feel a connection to the characters which I enjoyed!
Lucy & Justin have one of the best nights of their life but then Justin leaves and ghosts her. Now he's back in her life and she needs him to be her fake fiancé!! These two have some amazing banter and their chemistry is FIRE!! I love fake relationship tropes and this one was PERFECT!
Justin and Lucy's story will have you smiling, swooning, laughing out loud, and in the end you will get an amazing ending! I had so much fun listening to this audiobook. I loved how I got so lost in the story and I didn't want it to end. I HIGHLY recommend this audiobook and this series!
Thank you Bethany Rosa and Home Booked Books for allowing me to listen to this ALC for my honest opinion.
This is book 2 in Rosa's The Pursuit series. A great addition to the series that can easily be read as a standalone but ties in well to book 1 if you read as a part of the series. This book features Lucy and Justin. These two have some great dates and wonderful chemistry until Justin up and ghosts Lucy. Initially I loved that Lucy held her ground where Justin was concerned, I mean really, she gave him so many chances and nothing, but the chemistry between them is undeniable and the circles they run in make avoiding each other difficult and when they do meet up again the chemistry flares to life and Justin realizes he made a huge mistake. Lucy puts her foot in it when it comes to her family, and a fake finance scheme is hatched...only like any great romance read/listen they fake it till they make it real. I love Lucy's brother and his protectiveness. The narration for our characters is wonderfully done, and I love that Justin has some making up to do but that Lucy just can't seem to resist him. Overall, I found this to be a well written and captivating romance with a great balance of humor, sweet romance and steamy chemistry and a wonderful HEA all surrounding the family drama that comes with the holidays.

- Second chance romance - Fake fiancé - One bed - Dirty talking MMC - Forced proximity - Hidden secrets - Novella in series -
This was a fast-paced holiday novella that's great for steamy a one day read. Holidate Pursuit is a novella about Lucy & Justin, which we are introduced to as supporting characters in the first book of The Pursuit Series. I love that we, as the readers, got this novella to spend some more time getting to know two of the supporting characters that we normally wouldn't get to see more of on their own.
Lucy is Sebastian's secretary, and Justin is head of the security team employed by the Dubrees. Months after a very hot but short fling where Justin ends up ghosting Lucy, she ends up word vomiting to her family at Thanksgiving that they are engaged in order to avoid her parents trying to set her up on dates. One thing leads to another, and the two agree to continue the charade and go back to Lucy's parents for christmas together. Lucy's just wants her parents to stay out of her love life. But for Justin, this could be his chance to win Lucy's back.
Will they get their happily ever after together? Or will this trip and her meddling oarent tear the two farther apart?
Even though I didn’t read Pursuit of Innocence (the first book in the series), Holidate Pursuit by Bethany Rosa did an excellent job of filling in the gaps while still standing strong on its own. The way the author wove in backstory from Book 1 made it easy to dive in without feeling lost and now I can’t wait to start Pursuit of Innocence!
This novella had me laughing out loud from start to finish. Lucy and Justin’s humor, chemistry, and second-chance romance had my heart melting. I loved watching them rekindle their relationship while Lucy gained more meaningful bonds with Lily and Trevor along the way.
If you’re into fake fiancé tropes, forced proximity, only one bed and a side of second-chance romance, this is a MUST-READ! Lucy is a badass, independent woman, and Justin brings all the charm, sex appeal, and sizzling dialogue. Bethany Rosa’s writing style is addictive, and the chemistry between the characters is palpable.
Holidate Pursuit is the perfect holiday read being sweet, funny, and spicy in all the right ways. Highly recommend for romance lovers, especially those who enjoy a novella with heartwarming moments and laugh-out-loud humor. Don’t miss it!
Lucy is making her way back home for the holidays 🎄 —her parents’ condition for letting her move across the country. They’re all about finding the “perfect” match for her, as they navigate life in their opulent estate. But what Lucy has kept under wraps is her desire to break free from their expectations. When she finds herself cornered at Thanksgiving, her mother sweetly trying to set her up with eligible bachelors, she panics and fabricates an engagement to... Justin? Yes, the very Justin who ghosted her six months ago. A choice born out of sheer desperation!
As she heads home for Christmas, Lucy’s world turns upside down when she unexpectedly runs into him again. To her shock, he seems entirely on board with the idea of pretending to be her fiancé over the holidays. It’s a classic case of be careful what you wish for—especially since her family’s standards for ‘acceptable’ are sky-high. Sure, he’s now the head of a promising security firm, but in their world, is that enough? 🔐
This delightful tale is packed with humor, awkward family dynamics, and a charming exploration of identity and acceptance. Oh, and did I mention it’s spicy as hell? Because it is. 🥵🌶️
Super fast, super hot novella alert! I devoured this in 2 hours and the audio? Perfection. Ava Erickson and Mason Lloyd as Lucy and Justin were an absolute dream.
Lucy left her wealthy, snobby East Coast family behind for a fresh start in San Diego as a secretary for a billionaire CEO (book 1’s MMC!). She’s besties with Lily, helps run events, and ends up meeting Justin through the security team… which leads to one very passionate week—until he ghosts her.
When Lucy goes home for Thanksgiving, her family pushes their “suitable” matches on her, so she panics and blurts out that she has a fiancé named Justin. Now they expect to meet him at Christmas.
Back in SD, she confesses everything to Lily—then runs into Justin at an event and begs for his help. He says yes instantly, hoping this time together will win her back. Lucy is terrified it’ll all blow up… because she’s still so into him, and her parents will use any slip against her.
Fake fiancé. Real feelings. So much tension. Perfect quick read.

If you’re looking for the perfect holiday read, Bethany Rosa’s *Holiday Pursuit* delivers everything you could want and more! ❄️✨
The story follows Lucy and Justin, whose dynamic is nothing short of electric. Their relationship is raw, full of depth, and brimming with emotions. Bethany Rosa masterfully balances their intense chemistry with witty banter, making their interactions feel authentic and captivating. ❤️🔥
What truly sets *Holiday Pursuit* apart is the way it perfectly blends holiday magic with a steamy romance. The pacing is flawless, keeping the story’s flow attentive and engaging throughout. It’s the kind of book that makes you want to curl up with a blanket, a mug of hot cocoa, and get lost in its pages. ☕🎄
Bethany Rosa once again proves why her writing is so beloved. Whether it’s the sizzling tension, the heartfelt moments, or the laugh-out-loud dialogue, every element in this novella works together seamlessly to create a truly unforgettable holiday romance.
This was book 2 in The Pursuit series. This book follows Lucy and Justin. Lucy is Sebastian's assistant and Justin is the owner of the security firm Sebastian hired to guard his family. Lucy and Justin have a one night stand and then he ghosts her. When Lucy goes home for the holidays her parents are trying to set her up on dates but she blurts out that she's engaged to Justin even though she hasn't seen him in months. But when she goes back home she runs into him and asks him to help her with her lie of pretending they're engaged and fly home with her for Christmas. Justin sees this as his opportunity for his second chance with her and tries to get Lucy back. Her dad isn't convinced that Justin doesn't want her for her money. Yeah turns out her family is loaded but so is Justin! I thought this was a great novella. I'm so happy Lucy got her happy ending with Justin. It was a great spicy, cozy, holiday read. This author has quickly become a favorite of mine!
I really enjoyed this Christmas novella. It was a fast read and a great pallet cleanser. Lucy is from a very wealthy family and she wants nothing to do with it. She’s tired of that life so her makes her career as a receptionist for a prestigious company. She gets as far away from her family as she can. She wants to make her own way in life and don’t want her family interfering. She meets Justin who is a bodyguard, he owns his own company, and their chemistry is like no other. Circumstances cause them to separate, but she convinces him to “pretend” to be engaged to her so her parents will stop trying to control her. They threaten to take her inheritance away if she doesn’t marry within her means. I love the way this story unfolded and the build up for the ending was perfect. Can’t wait for the next book in the series. I hope we get more of Lucy and Justin’s story.
Holidate Pursuit is the second book in the Pursuit series but it’s a stand alone and can be read without reading the others.
Lucy thought she found the man of her dreams in Justin but after a magical night he ghosts her. She tries to get over him every man doesn’t compare. Six months later after pressure from her parents of finding the right guy she lies and says she’s engaged to none other than Justin! In a drunk haze, Lucy asks Justin to stand in as her fake fiancé. He agrees because he realizes he wants to win her back.
I loved Justin and Lucy. They had explosive chemistry and such a cute relationship. There was a lot of miscommunication or no communication between the two but overall I really enjoyed the book. This was a quick, spicy holiday read.
