GET LOST IN A WORLD OF SHIFTER PASSION AND DESIRE WITH THIS IRRESISTIBLE SIX BOOK STEAMY PARANORMAL ROMANCE SERIES.
Books included in this series:
A Mate for Seth - Book 1 Sarah, as drawn to Seth as he is to her, can’t understand why the kind, generous hottie next door is so secretive. She’s never known someone to be so desperate to know her while also throwing up so many roadblocks. With a complicated family history of her own, Sarah has to decide whether Seth is worth all the secrets. And when his secret is blown, she has to decide if she’ll be able to live outside the law with the love of her life.
A Mate for Raphael - Book 2 Natalie Chalk has been best friends with Raphael since elementary school and it hurts her to see him so lonely. When she gets unceremoniously dumped by someone she bet the farm on, Nat finds herself just as lonely as Raphael is. One weird night, the same idea occurs to both of them. What if they could be less lonely… together? They initiate a friends-with-benefits plan to assuage their feelings with one another, but neither could have predicted what would have come next.
A Mate for Jackson - Book 3 Kaya Chalk doesn’t hate men. She’s just constantly annoyed by them. They fawn over her, pursue her, make fools of themselves for her. What she wouldn’t give for a little peace and quiet! With her sister paired off and in love, Kaya becomes determined to live a peaceful, solitary life. That would be possible if only Jackson Durant weren’t suddenly a part of her life again, rescuing her and scowling his way into her heart.
A Mate for Phoenix - Book 4 Ida knows better than to ever get involved with a client. Especially one with daggers for eyes and whose jawline could slice a girl in half. But there is something about Phoenix Wolf that won't stop tempting her. Something magnetic. Something so tempting she can't pull away. When a sinister presence threatens to separate them, they have to decide, will they bad together or fall apart?
A Mate for Orion - Book 5 As Diana and Orion get closer and closer, they begin to notice the strange behavior of someone in their lives. Little do they realize, they're falling in love on borrowed time. There is something dangerous barreling toward Orion and his siblings and Diana might be the only one who can stop it.
A Mate for Quill - Book 6 Quill is given the mission of recruiting her. But Dawn’s emotional connection to the world, to her shifted form, to the natural world opens up something inside him that he didn’t know existed. He’s drawn to her delicate nature. Like a flower that shouldn’t be picked. But all is not what it seems and Quill will be forced to make some hard choices. A fight for love, and a fight for survival!
Okay, so it was not the worse book I've ever read by far. I'd say it's pretty much average reading. I liked the story and characters BUT the reason I'm giving it two stars only is that it had so much more potential. I expected proper good-ass drama about how they are being exposed, hunted or even how it all resulted in the way it did and they are free... or idk, maybe a little bit of drama between the lovers but the only thing they were dramatic about is that they were pussies....but what did we get? A little bit of romance and that is it. Like please tell me what dramatic moments were there? I think the only one was probably just when Natalie got attacked but still, then it cut to the happy ending and done. Same with the Mate for Jackson like wtf was that end? I just expected so much more and I genuinely think this book had so much more potential.
I read this collection up to 50%. All of the main characters I was vested in got their happily ever after so I decided to move on to other books. But I did enjoy the first 3 books.
This was a great series. The author uses some serious world building to address certain social/moral points throughout.
This series starts out with shifters being contained in concentration camps. And if you’re found to be a shifter outside of one, you’re in terrible danger.
The author does a great job with tension and adventure but struggles with sensical wrapups. There are two trilogies. The first one gets wrapped up pretty nicely with a shifter liberation movement. It’s great but seems a bit easy. And the second trilogy also gets an easy wrapup.
But the romances are fantastic. Consent, honesty, and trust are all built nicely into the relationships.
I wish not every man were promiscuous before they found their person. The author seems to subscribe to the idea that “men need their sexual release” which means all the male partners have a lot of meaningless hookups before their find their mate. The women aren’t virgins for the most part, but I still wish she had more variety in the guys.
The audiobooks are read by one male narrator and he does a pretty good job.
It’s nice that these 6 books are sold as a set because it makes them a pretty affordable buy.
I absolutely loved this series! I loved how each book flowed into the next one and the characters are wonderful!
A Mate for Seth – this is the story of Seth and Sarah. Seth is OCD a neat freak! He is shifter wolf who loves to help people out and doesn’t want them to be hurt by him. Sarah is an Olympian who ran away from her manager (father). He always told Sarah that everyone always wanted something from her. Sarah was very reluctant to believe anything Seth would say to her. Sarah does not know that Seth is a shifter and for that reason, he doesn’t want to get close to any woman for fear of hurting them. The chemistry between Seth and Sarah is so hot, will they be able to ignore it?
A Mate for Raphael – this is the story of Raphael and his best friend Natalie. Raphael is Seth’s twin brother. He too does not get too close to any women because he is afraid of hurting them. Natalie knows about the twins being shifters as they have been friends since grade school. All it takes is 2 kisses for Raphael to figure out that Natalie is his mate. But does Natalie feel the same way about Raphael? They are both afraid of ruining their friendship, but what if friendship is where it all starts?
A Mate for Jackson – This is the story of Jackson and Kaya. Jackson is the older brother of Seth and Raphael. He is the hardest on himself and feels like he is a danger to not only himself but to everyone else. Kaya is the youngest in the group – she is 23 while Jackson is 36. She has always had a crush on Jackson and he has felt the same way about her since he came back from school when she was 18. Jackson of course figured out that he didn’t deserve her and she deserved someone who could make her happy. He’s always known that she was his mate, but he has made sure to distance himself from her.
A Mate for Phoenix – This is the story of Phoenix and Ida. Phoenix is a wolf shifter who lived in the mountains in his wolf form for most of his life. He only shifted to a human when he came into town a coupe of times a year. Phoenix is all about staying in his wolf form and when he is in an accident and has to be in his human form for a while, he is not very happy about it and tends to be a little grumpy and really doesn’t know how to talk to humans because he has no filter. Ida is a mentor in a new program for shifters to help them acclimate to the human world. She is funny, smart, confident and only wants to help the shifters. When Phoenix and Ida meet, Phoenix isn’t too happy about her being his mentor because Rose was more attractive – Ida just laughed about it. She eventually gets to Phoenix and he begins to see that being a human isn’t really that bad. A Mate for Orion – This is the story of Orion and Diana. Diana is the Administrator of the Center for Shifters. She is one tough lady who is always in control and knows her business. She makes it a point to know what is going on with all her clients as she only wants what is best for them – she wants to protect them and care for them. Orion is one wolf who is pretty sure of himself and is trying to learn the ways of the human world. He is also a protector and wants to help take care of his family. He has been attracted to Diana since day 1 and really wanted her to be his mentor. However, she does not mentor clients anymore and Orion tried to do everything in his power to get her to change her mind. He was one difficult wolf in her eyes. However, when he finally talked with Ida and Wren (his landlord and Ida’s best friend) they get him to realize that the only way to get noticed to stop bugging Diana. Once she sees that he doesn’t seem interested in her, this is how he will find out if she really is or not.
A Mate for Quill – This is the story of Quill and Dawn. Dawn is a quiet, yet very smart wolf shifter. She was not very trusting of many people. Quill is her mentor from the Center for Shifters. Quill is also working for the Director who is trying to “recruit” special shifters to be military weapons. Quill is also a grizzly bear shifter. He and his family were sent to the internment camps and had been separated and his family eventually died and the director took a liking to Quill and pretty much brain washed him into working for him. What Quill didn’t count on was falling for Dawn in the process. Will Dawn be able to forgive his betrayal of her and her family?
Each story was unique. There was so much drama, passion, chemistry, tragedy, conspiracy, betrayal, love, family and justice. I really hope there are more stories coming that involve Wren, Sasha and Jesse – I would love to find out what happens with these 3 – are they able to find mates as well? I look forward to reading the other series from Selena Scott.
I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy through Booksprout ARC’s for an honest review.
Great characters with potential for a really good story. But this was just horribly written, childish with no depth. And the whole anti shifter think honestly didn’t make since, at all. Did the shifters just appear 50 years ago? Had they been hiding since the dawn of time? And then over night they are completely aloud by the government to be full citizens. But yet they didn’t now what a mate was??? The worst was when Rap says “ did you feel that”, “ yea I did what was it? Delayed response, from our kiss. Your my mate. Yea ok that’s totally plausible. Much like I’m doing now there was just way to much over analyzing and describing then there was dialogue between the characters. Some things are better left unsaid and left to imagination; then 6 pages of what someone is thinking. I skipped most of my way through just as you should skip the read completely.
I've read all six books and they are great as a set or individually. Here are my reviews of each one as I read them:
A Mate for Seth: 🌿Can Seth ever expose his true self to his hot new neighbor?!🏠🏡 November 26, 2018 👍4.5 🌟stars🐺 Selena Scott has come up with a new series featuring hunky shifter brothers, romance, passion, and an ominous element threatening to destroy their lives. I loved her Secret Shifters of Spokane series in this vein, where the brothers were Eastern European 🐻shifters hiding in the forests of Washington State and the villains were cruel scientists. In this one, government and vigilantes are both boxing the shifter brothers into a tense, hidden life.
This first volume in the Forbidden Shifters series is a great start, with a solid introduction to the varying personalities of the brothers, their adoptive mother, the women in their circle, and the prejudice and threats they face.
Wolf shifter Seth and his newly-arrived neighbor, Olympic medalist Sarah, are the chief protagonists in this story and they sizzle, with some very extended intimate moments in the latter part of the book. Seth was an energetic sweetie, always on the move, taking care of others and putting his own interests last. Though he is a bit obsessively organized and neat, he was also my favorite character. The way he takes Sarah under his wing despite her indifference and occasional resistance -- cute and priceless! Sarah seemed a bit Bolshie and self-contained, but as her backstory is revealed, it made sense.
There's plenty of action as the brothers fight to control their shifts and the threat of public exposure intensifies. But the central focus is the building romantic tension. I liked the plot, the characters and the romance, though I could have been happy with less extended bedroom scenes.
A Mate for Raphael: 🐺Best friends find more than comfort in each other's arms😘 December 19, 2018 👍4.5🌟stars ❤🐺🔥A good shifter romance with several pairings in play, steamy encounters and a vigilante anti-shifter on the prowl. The main romance pairs Raphael and Natalie, two bosom buddies who concoct a plan to use each other to mutual benefit, while looking for long-term partners, with unexpected results. In this world author Selena Scott has created, known shifters are rounded up and kept in detention camps if not killed by vigilantes. The Durant brothers have kept their true wolf shifter nature hidden to all but their closest social circle to avoid persecution. I thought the writing was good, the main characters (Durant family and close friends), interesting, the plot engaging with some twists I did not see coming as the anti-shifter activists close in. A couple of the intimate encounters were a bit drawn out for my taste, but that aside, I truly enjoyed the story.
A Mate for Jackson: 🐺Can Jackson surrender to their attraction without risking Kaya's safety?!😞 January 20, 2019 👍4.5🌟stars💕🐺🔥🗻 Excellent! Very exhilarating end to the three book series. This shifter romance adventure features two couples who work through their issues to unite, and more endangered shifters come out of the woodwork. A troubled ex-con returns to Boulder to plot against the Durant shifter brothers, and some brave humans risk their lives and freedom to help protect the persecuted shifters.
It's all exciting and Jackson's repressed obsession for Kaya is smoldering as the 🔥fire between them builds. They are a great pairing and Kaya is pretty strong and fearless! But I really adored Jackson who wants to protect everyone so much that he often makes decisions on what's best for them without their input. He does not seem arrogant or controlling so much as just fearful for their safety and ready to risk himself and his happiness for their good. His efforts to improve himself and confide in and consult others demonstrate he recognizes his weaknesses. The second couple's romance is more low key and gentle.
I am not a big fan of extended intimate episodes and this story has a few. But they are well on in the story and easy to skim through if you are so inclined.
The story and series end is joyful, following on a thrilling action climax. Well worth the wait!😊
A Mate for Phoenix 🌾Phoenix is reborn but to a life dramatically changed by a petite redhead!😍 July 8, 2019 Format: Kindle Edition 4.5🌟stars 🔥🐺💕 👍Really good plot with some excellent twists and a new family of🐺 shifters to introduce into this series. I especially liked the dramatic and danger-filled start to the story.
💟Phoenix and Ida, his human mentor, were a great pair. Their scenes were alternately hot or humorous, often touching as Ida helps Phoenix adjust to living in human society after almost a whole lifetime ranging in the wild. I am looking forward to learning how Phoenix's sister Dawn and his brawny brother fair in the romance department, and what the villains try next in their schemes to covertly exploit shifters.
🔥The romance takes a decidedly extended, steamy turn in the latter chapters, alternating with a build-up of suspense as the villains make their move. Personally, I preferred the more light-hearted scenes earlier in the book where Phoenix learns the facts of life human-style from Ida.
A Mate for Orion Another brave 🐺wolf shifter wins his woman, evil agents notwithstanding 😉I 4🌟stars 💕This story has a lot of quiet, connecting moments for shifter Orion Wolf and Diana, daughter of a witch turned hyper-efficient social center adminstrator. I liked the pair, but especially Orion. He's pretty optimistic about his chances with gorgeous, in-control Diana, despite being illiterate and just recently integrated into human society after a lifetime lived in the remote Northwestern woods.
👥The romance unfolds simultaneous with a subplot that places Orion and his family in danger. There's some knuckle-biting action, loyal friends and lovers and conflicted betrayers all interspersed with some progressively steamier action between Orion and Diana. Phoenix's story in the previous volume in the series had more humor, but Orion's basic, open goodness, kindness and efforts to please and protect made this a feel-good, enjoyable read.
A Mate for Quill 🐻 🐺Quill: what a conflicted, self-sacrificing romantic hero!😌😍 5🌟stars 👍👍Here's a shifter romance with oodles of action and a great couple, separated only by the evil doing orchestrated by a monstrous researcher called the Director. I loved the effort author Selena Scott put in to creating deeply conflicted Quill, both his tragic backstory and his attempts to distance himself from Dawn. I could take or leave the steamy bits, but the heartbreaking resignation of a hero willing to commit the ultimate sacrifice to protect his friends and the woman he loves: that's the stuff that made it a great read for me. Must admit to tearing up a few times😪.
Just a shout out to the Florida state trooper who steps in and changes the balance. He was an unexpected addition with a conscience and a good heart😊.
Although it does not end in a cliffhanger, I believe that it's best to read Orion and Phoenix's earlier stories in the series to get the fullest picture of Dawn's life journey from forest to town and why Quill is so closely involved with Dawn and her siblings.
I read a complimentary advance copy of all the books in the set; this is my voluntary and honest review.
It was an interesting read, writing is a little rough but overall I did enjoy!! Actually last 3 were my fave with a little more drama and the spice with all stories was great.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I enjoy paranormal romance a lot, so I grabbed this ARC looking for some insta love, shifter style. That is not what these stories are. When I started reading, I found myself not sure if I wanted to finish. The world-building is great. The characters are awesome. It is just that I am uncomfortable with bias and bigotry. The mention of internment camps,.... yeah, no. I was thinking of giving up, but I figured that I would let myself read one story in this collection and see. I am glad that I did.
I liked how the author handled the subject of racial hate and fear. She writes of two shifter families. One set in the midst of hiding who they are to keep living their lives. Seth, Raphael, and Jackson, shifter siblings who learn more about themselves and ultimately help other shifters create a better world. I liked one particular scene where an acquaintance realized that they may have been found out and wanted to run. After talking it over, the family made the difficult decision to stay and not let the fear and hate of others drive them from their lives.
The second set of shifter siblings come out from the wild into a world that may seem 'shifter friendly''. Phoenix, Orion, and Dawn have to learn to navigate the new norms, and some bigotry and hate still present.
I'm glad that I gave this series a chance. It was some fun reading. The interactions between the characters were hilarious at times. Of course, the heat and chemistry between the individual couples were high.
Forbidden Shifters is a great collection of stories, with the power of love behind them.
Oh, the heat is HOT, and the physical chemistry is captivating so be careful you may just get burned all the heat coming off these pages. There were some "oh no" "oh wow" " what the what" moments and add in uncanny mishaps, and shenanigans the good kind that makes you keep turning the pages till last page has been turned. Full length standalone books with sexy alpha’s and the queens that bring them to their knees so get comfortable because once you start this series you put it down until the last page is turned. A mate for Seth and Sarah story, A Mate for Raphael and Natalie’s story, A Mate for Jackson and Kaya’s story, A Mate for Phoenix and Ida’s story, A Mate for Orion and Dina’s story, and A Mate For Quill and Dawn all standalone worth the time.
Each book in this series is excellent. This follows two shifter families and the problems that occur in a world that does not accept shifters in mainstream society. It is beginning to change, but the dangers are real - and extreme! I especially enjoyed the personalities of the different characters and how well-suited that made the couples. As always, the author imbues the stories with a generous helping of humor. Highly recommended! I have reviewed each of the books individually, if you wish to see a more detailed review.
I thoroughly enjoyed this novel from the first page until the very last. It has been a very rare occurrence that I could just pick up a book and read it in one day; but, I was captivated by these characters and their amazing love story instantaneously.
DNFd. Author uses “f*cktard” in book two and that’s a no. You don’t get a positive rating when you use slang for “f*cking r*tard” in your book. You also go on my do not read list.
A mate for Seth This is a different shifter story, the shifters are being hounded, interned and killed. Seth and his family haven't had the tools to live with their wolves in harmony. So Seth is frightened that he'll hurt Sarah without meaning too. Sarah doesn't know what the great secret is, and is also trying to overcome the emotions brought on by her father's treatment of her.
A mate for Raphael Raphael is a wolf shifter, Natalie has known him for years. He has had loads of girlfriends but hasn’t found anyone to share his secret with. Natalie and he get together, but in secret. But being a shifter is illegal, or at least if one is found it’s taken away for research. Someone has found out details of the wolves and is determined to end them.
A mate for Jackson This is the last one in the series, and all the loose ends are wrapped up. Kaya has had a crush on Jackson for years, and he has feelings for her but he doesn’t believe that he can control his wolf and will hurt her. So he pushes her away. It’s a great read with an unexpected outcome.
A Mate for Phoenix The law has changed and shifters can come out of hiding. Ida's job is to help them integrate. Phoenix and his siblings have been wolf since their parents died, but then he was caught in a fire and went human. He's in pain and stuck. The relationship between the two is amusing as he doesn't understand human behaviour. Ida is very compassionate and caring. But there's still the 'baddies' out there.
A Mate for Orion Orion has been enamoured with Diana since first meeting her a year ago. He's still learning how to live in the human world. The Wolf family haven't cracked it all and there's still the baddie trying to get hold of them. A funny story about our customs and how they can be misinterpreted. I'm looking forward to reading Dawn's story.
A Mate for Quill This is the third book about Dawn and her brothers. Quill, her mentor, seems to have switched allegiances and handed her to the Director, but at the last minute he stops her kidnapping. There follows a great romantic suspense, with Quill and Dawn driving across country towards the Director. Is there a plan? Do they both have the same one? A great box set. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Selena Scott hit the mark with her Forbidden Shifters series; it's wonderfully written, gripping, and super addictive paranormal shifter romance. The premise is interesting with rich and adventurous storylines, jam-packed with suspense, action, secrets, danger, intrigue, enemies, passion wrapped in surprising twists and turns that keep you guessing. The characters are fully developed, three-dimensional, diverse, colourful, and appealing with distinct personalities, genuine emotional depth, and realistic responses. The romance aspect is wonderfully illustrated. The connection and chemistry between the mates are great. Each relationship faces unique and unforeseen challenges and emotional turmoil.
The series centres around two sets of three siblings. The first set were three unregistered wolf-shifter brothers living in secret among the humans, dealing with isolation, discrimination, prejudice, fear, and threats from anti-shifter groups. The second were two brothers and a sister who lived in the wilderness in their wolf forms. Circumstances let the siblings live among the humans and integrate into society. Their stories were quite fascinating. The siblings practically lived as wolves with only a basic understanding of human communication. I was totally charmed by the innocence as they learned essential human behaviour.
I absolutely love the Forbidden Shifters series, and I enjoyed every minute of it. It was definitely worth every hour spent immersed in the lives of the Forbidden Shifters cast. The ending was fantastic and kind of bittersweet, knowing the series was coming to an end. It was a very gratifying listen.
Craig A. Hart's narration was outstanding; he made the stories even more enjoyable. His portrayal of the characters was flawless, capturing their emotions and connection. He literally brought Selena Scott's words to life; I could feel the intensity and excitement of the scenes. Forbidden Shifters, the complete box-set was marvellous and worth the listen. I'm definitely recommending the audiobook.
Some shifter books tend to be cheesy but I highly enjoyed these. The plot was great and I enjoyed it enough that I couldn't wait to start the next books in the series. Now it makes me want to check out more shifter books.
The first 3 books are about 3 brothers who are shifters. This is a world built around shifters being captured and put into "camps"(not the great type) because humans are afraid of them. The 3 brothers and their human mom have lived secretly among humans. They have not registered with the government. They don't get close to many people since it puts them at risk.
The oldest brother, Jackson is the the biggest A hole so I knew the 3rd book would be great. I couldn't wait until he was faced with his HEA. Plus, by the time I got to #3, I really wanted to know his full background. The first book had some funny moments with the MMC and how he was described. When he lost his mind at all the unpacked boxes- well, I could relate. Usually, authors always make the MFC be the neat, clean freak with the perfect house, perfect clothes, etc.... I liked how this author switched it up.
The last 3 books were about 2 brothers and a sister shifter. They have mostly lived in the wild their whole life so they have to learn to be "human" again. The 4th book had me laughing so hard. Phoenix had me snorting a few times over his bluntness. The one part where the MFC had to explain smut to him was hilarious.
I'll tell you what makes these books stand out from others....it's the way the author writes her smexy stuff. She did an outstanding job with it. She wrote some really beautiful smexy parts when they needed to be beautiful and some dirty smexy stuff when the characters needed that.
I think these books are better if you read them in order. You could read 4-6 separately but some of the background stuff will make more sense if you read 1-3 first. It's NOT a huge deal if you don't because the author will give a quick background on what you do need to know.
What a diverse bunch of characters! This book has it all, great dialogue, interesting characters, a decent storyline and tons of humour.
The first three books are about the Durant brothers adopted by a single mother. There is Jackson and the twins Seth and Raphael who are not genetically related to Jackson, but who love and look up to their older brother.
They are all wolf shifters in a time when to be a shifter is illegal. All registered shifters are sent to isolation camps; a sure way to be mistreat, beaten and starved, so the boys live unregistered, hiding their abilities. It takes its toll as they realise they can never trust or have a relationship with a woman. Friends who do not turn them in once they discover what they are are liable to a prison sentence. Nevertheless, they enjoy a loving family life.
One by one, each finds their happily ever after. There is so much good interaction between all the main and secondary characters which flow seamlessly from the first story to the third.
The next three books are about Orion, Phoenix and Dawn. They have lived off the grid most of their lives in the mountains as wolves, rarely changing into humans. Necessity drives them into the city when Phoenix urgently needs hospital treatment or he will die.
Time has moved on and it is no longer illegal to be a shifter, but humans are still wary. They are forced to register and given the surname of Wolf, which they hate. Having no social skills whatsoever, recreate lots of embarrassment and humorous situations by their pointed questions, actions and lack of modesty. They all are a given a mentor to guide them through the etiquette of behaviour and the understanding of day to day living.
The author has written a witty, well written set of stories and I am sorry I have now finished them. Pure escapism at its best of you like shifter stories.
If you love your shifters strong and alpha, determined to protect their mates at any cost, and passion so hot you’ll melt your kindle don’t miss out on this complete box set of SIX full-length novels. Below is a review of one of the books to give you an idea of what’s inside. Titles include:
• A Mate for Seth • A Mate for Raphael • A Mate for Jackson • A Mate for Phoenix • A Mate for Orion • A Mate for Quill
*** Reviewing A MATE FOR JACKSON - BOOK 3 *** I loved Jackson and Kaya’s story! It’s a tough world out there! Jackson is so stubborn, but wonderfully protective of those he cares about, as the reader will easily find out, and it’s a relief to finally see him get himself squared away and able to find his happiness. You will enjoy watching Jackson come around in his attitude, finally accepting the possibility of giving a relationship with Kaya a chance to flourish!
I think this book became my favorite of the series, but I really love them all! Join the Durant family and see what changes a good mate can make!
Each of these books has been released separately, though they are best read in order as character relationships grow and develop across the stories.
The stories are mainly dual POV from the lead male and female characters, though they change from story to story, with secondary character perspectives intertwined, increasing the depth of the stories. They are well written and edited, and they are intense and driven, with much individual and relationship development. I hadn’t read any of these stories prior to this boxset and found them really enjoyable. It was great to be able to just keep going! They are all full length stories so be prepared to be reading for a LONG while. I was more than happy to!

This is an entertaining collection of six forbidden shifter romances with strong alpha males and the beautiful women who become their mates. Although I had already read a couple of the books in this series before it was nice to be able to get the whole series together in one collection. Each story is packed with shifter drama, suspense, steam, interesting characters, and great endings. I look forward to reading more books by this author in the future. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
Forbidden Shifters Complete Set contains all six book in this series by author Selena Scott. Firstly I’ll say is hold on to your panties- these hotties will tempt you. Selena has written this series of shifters like no other- here the shifters are not only in hiding they are the victims. The world in which they live is full of darkness, danger and hiding is the only way to survive. Each character will meet their reasons for happiness- they only have to take that first scary step- into the land of trust and HEA. Enjoy!!
There’s 6 books in this set, 2 sets of 3. The first 3 are all brothers stories. They started slow and by the end you didn’t want them to finish. Same with the second set. 2 brothers and a sister. The stories were really captivating throw you in with them. There were a few bits in the books that the author had written something and forgotten and contradicts herself. Their a little annoying but don’t take away from a good story. Bargain price for excellence read.
This set of books was a wonderfully original twist on the usual shifter genre. You have plenty of romance, with a dash of action thrown in to keep things interesting. So happy I was able to read them all without having to wait between books, it really helped keep all the characters fresh in my mind and helped enhance the continuing stories. Great way to spend a weekend!

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is a collecting from the Forbidden Shifters series. The books are full of alpha males and the strong women they fall for. While they may be read as standalone stories, they are woven together. There is plenty of drama, action, suspense, lust and love. I enjoyed each of these stories

I look for book sets when I have big projects to complete so I can be entertained while I complete it. This was exactly what I was looking for. I was engrossed from the very first book. The writing was excellent! The characters were so well rounded that I feel I know them! Every book was really good. I'm going to search the author out and buy some more books by them because I feel it will be a sure thing!
