An adult fairy-tale that tells a story of two gunslinger friends, betrayal and a female, who is there to either save them or destroy them. Smutt. Heat. Spice. This is all here. The desert winds are harsh, but nothing compares to the storm brewing inside me. When I step into this godforsaken town, I’m not expecting trouble—but she’s here. The woman. Her eyes are full of fire, mystery, and secrets, locking onto mine the moment I walk in. She’s no ordinary woman. I can feel it—there’s something hidden beneath her innocent façade. Something that calls to me. Something worth taking.
I never let my guard down. I never allow anyone to get close. But in a world where betrayal lurks around every corner, she’s the one who could break me. This woman will be my greatest temptation.
I never imagined my life would cross paths with a man like him. He walks into the bar with the confidence of a dangerous gunslinger, his presence thick with power and menace. His dark, piercing gaze cuts through the crowd, landing on me. For a moment, I freeze, unable to look away. But this isn’t a fairytale, and I’ve learned not to trust dangerous men like him.
He’s cold, calculating, and ruthless. Yet, when he speaks, something stirs deep inside me—a temptation I’m afraid to acknowledge. He may think he’s the one in control, but I have my own dark secrets. And I’m not sure I can resist the pull between us.
Gunslinger vibes and mage magic blended into something unique and complex. While Victoria and Fred seem to be the main characters, I did not feel there was a romance between them, more like steamy fun moments with multiple people. It was an unexpected and interesting read.
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
He Needs Answers Fred needs answers to why his friend tried to have him killed. And what better way to get those answers than in the warm arms of the women he encounters. They’re more than willing to help him find the information he needs.
A western setting for a fantasy novel. I truly liked how contrasting this novella was to what I expected from a fantasy novel. Totally worth reading this book.
This is a quick standalone read! There is more spice than I expected, and I found it funny that the ML was getting so much ... , well, you know. This is a story of betrayal, revenge, and some underlying romance. I'm happy with how it all came together at the end! I hope that you enjoy this book too!
