Framed & Hunted: A True Story of Occult Persecution

Rate this book
Backpacking around Australia in the year 2000, the author unwittingly found himself targeted by some very devious, malevolent and well organised others. This true story details the nature, methods and gradual intensification of the target's gang stalking, from the initial profiling, intimidation, gas lighting and neuro-linguistic programming to repeated druggings, poisonings, remote mind control and sexual honey traps which all enabled rape, murder, lost babies, the releasing of a daemon and the lure of great, but compromised, wealth, power and celebrity.

Spanning fourteen years and five continents; prostitutes, hitmen, rogue intel agents, ladyboys, thieves, junkies, shaman, cult members, under aged hookers and brain-washed vigilantes are just a few of the people encountered in places as far and wide as the Rif Mountains, the Amazon Rainforest, South East Asian jungles and the Australian Outback. From Bangkok to Beirut, Medellin to Johannesburg and a hundred other cities in between; from Jamaican strip clubs to South African military bases and gangster villas in Thailand to bus crashes in Mexico, Framed and Hunted really is a story, and book, like no other.

This true-story was a truly eye-opening and intense experience. I felt uneasy yet exhilarated for a lot of this book, as I was constantly exposed to dangerous, uncomfortable, psychologically and physically threatening situations that this author went through. It really put me into the perspective of people from all walks of life, different races, genders, cultures, and more. I learned more about the way crime organisations can switch from subtle intimidation to extreme threats and psychological manipulation. The consistent change of setting, from Australia to the Amazon Rainforest and much more, kept me on the edge of my seat and in trepidation of what could come next for our main character. I have the utmost respect for the author and what he’s experienced, and his raw recount of these events took me on an emotional rollercoaster. This is a powerful and beautifully written book that I think everyone should read at some point in their lives.

A bizarre book in something of a diary format.

I'm not quite sure what to make of it, i have not really learn't anything & did not get to know any characters whatsoever, apart from the author himself.

After the first 1/3 of the book, the chapters, or rather, entry's, became quite repetitive.
The events in the book build up & up, eliciting an expectation of a big finale that never actually happens. With no big event happening, i was left concerned for the health of the character, nothing really happens with that either.

I am also wondering how this book has got the glowing reviews it (now that i have checked, reviews seem to be copy pastes/bots across multiple sites or sycophantic & lazy reviews from aggressive requests) has & how many, given that physical copies are not easy to get hold of & are very expensive for a print on demand op.

By no means the worst book i've ever read, there are far, far worse.
However, in having it recommended by algorithms & very dodgy reviews, purchasing it for a lofty price and regretting my naivety after having read it, being a victim of one of the very repetitive scams in the book would be preferable to this mediocre title & the trifling sense of naive buyers remorse that it imbued.

I'm genuinely surprised by all the positive reviews for this book. It’s filled with paranoia, self-importance, and far-fetched coincidences. The author seems to believe people have been orchestrating elaborate setups involving famous individuals to target him—why? He blames his declining health on being "poisoned" by others, while completely ignoring the consequences of his rampant and illegal drug use. Even worse, he excuses his own horrific actions, such as rape, by claiming he was drugged.

Framed and Hunted: A True Story of Occult Persecution is a wild ride throughout five continents with the author, Edward Williams. Edward's experiences are so colorful that I felt that I was reading his story through a kaleidoscope! Strange occurrences and even stranger people are what readers can expect from this intriguing memoir and culture shock upon ghastly shock. It is a unique experience, and yes, sometimes reality really is stranger than fiction. I highly recommend the action-packed, nerve-wracking Framed and Hunted to fans of fast-paced thrillers based on a true story and those thinking of embarking on a globe-trotting journey; you never know what you might find en route!

This book is subtitled: A True Story of Occult Persecution, but I don't believe for one moment that the author was targeted. Instead, the author tells of being drunk, using drugs, and numerous careless and irresponsible sexual encounters. He preaches a bit about the dangers of transgender / re-assignment surgery, yet he had trans partners. He tells of being targeted, yet has very dangerous behaviors, putting himself into unsafe situations. He discusses being drugged, but drinks and uses drugs to excess.
I don't doubt that the author was in such sketchy situations, but in many cases, he put himself willingly into these situations.

This was really a struggle to complete. Just an absolutely pointless book.

This book is based on a true story, centred on the author’s horrifying experiences over 14 years and across 5 continents. It all began in the year 2000 while the author was backpacking in Australia. What starts as small, unsettling encounters quickly escalate to unthinkable levels of harassment and fear. The story takes the reader through a series of disturbing events, exposing the dark side of humanity and the unimaginable lengths some people will go to torment others.

The book reads like a diary, which makes it easy to get into. The format helps you understand the conversations between the author and the people he meets. I enjoyed getting to know the characters and seeing how the author interacted with them. The writing is simple and clear, making the book easy to read and follow. The author’s personal reflections and honest tone also give a sense of the emotional toll he experiences. As the story progresses, it becomes even more gripping, drawing you deeper into his journey.

The author shares the tough challenges he faces, both mentally and physically. From being constantly watched to dealing with threats and manipulation, it's hard to imagine what he went through. But even with all the struggles, the author’s strength and determination come through. By the end, you see how much the author fought to take control of his life again.

‘Youth was behind me, adulthood ahead’ – A memorable diary

‘Give your heart a reason to be working, it’s much better for you’
UK author Edward Williams earned his degree in International Relations and Human Geography from the University of Plymouth and is a freelance writer, editor, publisher and the founder of Phantom Ant Publishing. His books to date – giAnt + Altered Perception, World War Weed: Plant Life, and now FRAMED & HUNTED: A True Story About Occult Persecution.

Written in the form of a diary, once opened this little book is addicting. As the author has stated, this story is ‘about the Dark Side. Sex, drugs, poisons and psychotronic weapons. Honey traps, surveillance, mind control and gang stalking. Its about dissociation, alienation, ostracisation and dehumanization. The corruptions of desires, the inversion of perception, coded language and misdirection. And its all true.’ The novel opens with a Groovy Grape bus tour in Australia, providing the young English tourist/author with an experience of meeting a group of young questioners that provide the nidus of this investigation of mind control and more. The events the author relates span the globe, giving pauses for reflection, gasps, laughs, and well-spun reality testing. The result – an intriguing adventure with some eye-opening ideas!

Edward Williams' Framed and Hunted is a stimulating and engaging thriller that takes readers through deception, treason, and survival. The author has successfully established a fast-paced novel with intricate character development that keeps readers guessing until the last page. This book is a unique blend of suspense and reality, and it deals with a protagonist whose challenges are close to reality to anybody who has ever faced impossible obstacles. The story centres on a character caught in a deadly conspiracy after being falsely accused of committing a crime. As they navigate an intricate network of lies with enemies closing in on all sides, their drive to learn the truth and clear their name becomes the driving force behind the plot. There is a seamless unfolding of the plot. The tension rises as the plot unravels, exposing startling twists and hidden objectives. Till the end, the author brilliantly balances the protagonist's issues with the outward threats they deal with, producing a dramatic environment that is difficult to put down.

Should have been entitled "Confessions of a Schizophrenic Rapist and Criminally Insane Drug Addict"

The sick psychopathic hallucinations of a dangerous sociopath who projects all of his EVIL criminality onto a "cult" that is a clear reflection of the criminal's own despicable fantasies.
Perhaps the most disgusting aspect of Williams's lunatic existence is that he could maintain such a disturbingly unshakable belief in the preposterous fictions that his bestial psyche had spewed out. What level of irrepable derangement is necessary for criminals like Williams to truly think that a cabal of "cultists" had nothing better to do with themselves than to "persecute" an insectoid non-entity like him for fourteen plus years?? How did Williams so thoroughly destroy his clearly weak, stupid sick mind?

Williams is a mad mental and moral degenerate doomed to the most cockroach like level of hellish damnation.

The terrifying idea behind this book is enough to make anyone check over their shoulder: you could be a target and not even know it until it's too late. Williams does a great job of revealing the subtlety within which some of these groups may target and infiltrate the lives of their victims. I've said this a million times in other reviews, but I like epistolary-style books as they add an element of closeness to the entries a traditional book may not have captured. The way Williams captured his ordeal and his candid sharing of the events makes this book a hidden gem.

Framed and Hunted is a great read, but it's not for those with a weak stomach. If you read the description and can read through the subject matter, go ahead and get this book. It's worth the time and is an excellent peek into the author's mind and journey across the globe.

I stuck with it waiting for the proof of actual persecution. I just didn't see it. Although impressed with his nomadic adventurism, it seemed to me that he was mostly just looking for his next high. On the other hand, his writing was good enough to keep me reading. He seems to have talent but his high's seem to take precedence. I just kept thinking, "this guy is paranoid, and I am trying to see why".

Pretty sensational. Not sure how true it is, but I guess there must be an underworld of which many of us are naively unaware. I read the free sample. But do I want to litter my mind with more of these voyeuristic images? Would it make me more aware and somehow able to support policy reforms and activism to fight human trafficking, drug use, sexism? Surely there are more reliable and informative books.

Framed and Hunted by Edward Williams was an interesting read. It’s written a bit like a journal and is extremely raw with provocative and foul language. The events that Ed goes through is shocking but I was interested. If you want to explore a wild life through many countries this is the journey to read about.

Just started but will write a glorious review. I’m sure. This is exactly what I am going through. Any book that starts with Asian Dub Foundation is already a winner.

It is a gripping true story that takes readers on a wild and unsettling journey around the world. While backpacking through Australia in 2000, the author unknowingly becomes the target of a sinister and well-organized group involved in occult persecution. What starts as subtle intimidation quickly escalates into a nightmare of gang stalking, mind control, and life-threatening situations.

The book, written in diary form, spans fourteen years and five continents, detailing encounters with a diverse and often dangerous cast of characters—including hitmen, intelligence agents, and shamans. From the Australian Outback to the Amazon Rainforest, and from the streets of Bangkok to the mountains of Morocco, the author's experiences are both shocking and eye-opening.

With raw honesty, the author describes his harrowing journey, which includes druggings, poisonings, and even murder. The narrative is intense and sometimes brutal, but it’s also deeply engaging, offering readers a glimpse into a world few of us could imagine.

You might like to wander through a few artistic journals — they’re full of sparks and surprises.
