Caroline is a school teacher in Hope Peak. Some would call her boring, but she preferred responsible. She was proud of the life she'd built.
Knox was the town bad boy. And the apple didn't fall far from the tree. He had been hauled off in cuffs a few years ago, when his habits caught up with him. Now he was back, after serving three years in prison, to take care of his teenage sister. He had opened a motorcycle repair shop in town, and was doing his best to live an upstanding life.
But memories were long in a small town, and tongues still wagged on his account. The whispers and side glances followed him everywhere. His sister was affected by it, as well.
Knox's sister was having trouble in school, pulling away from even him. She reminded him of himself at her age, and he was worried. She happened to be in Caroline's class, so he hoped to get some advice from her. She was so caring, and she didn't judge him for his past. She seemed to be the only one, apart from a few old friends.
Caroline remembered Knox from school, the motorcycle riding bad boy that she couldn't stop sneaking looks at. He was even more irresistible now, grown up and all man. And the way he cared about his sister was so sweet. Caroline found herself drawn to him.
But no one wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, and when Caroline started spending more time with him, even on account of his sister, people started talking about her too.
But Knox's past refuses to stay in the past, and when someone threatens those most important to him, he risks losing himself to that life again.
Will Knox be able to stay on the straight and narrow? Or will he prove the whole town right and fall back into his old ways?
It's hard to do the right thing when everyone is just waiting for you to screw up. Knox feels the pressure of the whole town watching him. All he can do is put his sister first and keep his nose to the grindstone. Prove them wrong. At least he has Caroline in his corner, though he doesn't think he deserves her.
This was a good read, with a reformed bad boy who finds himself under the town microscope, and the sweet teacher who had always seen what no one else did.

Caroline Belle teaches sixth grade middle school English in Hope Peak, Montana. Recently both her older sister, Mira, and her best friend, Tessa, have found their other halves, Colt and Ryder. Leaving her with only classroom decorations, lonely single dinners, and her romance novels to celebrate Valentine's Day.
Now Mira has decided that Caroline needs to have an adventure. Caroline had always felt a little guilty for disappointing others by being content with her quiet life. She looks upon herself as Mira's shadow and the one who's never been quite good enough in comparison.
Knox Slater, the town’s prodigal son, has returned. He had left in handcuffs and returned as the owner of Slater Cycle Garage. While in prison, Pastor Vic kept visiting him and was finally able to convince Knox of the potential inside of himself. After all, he and his now thirteen-year-old sister, Linzie, certainly had never had caring, loving parents. They'd both ended up in prison and are no longer in either of their lives. He's been appointed her legal guardian and is bound and determined to help her reach her full potential.
He's given up drugs, excess alcohol, and membership in his old motorcycle club, but the small town isn't ready to welcome him back with open arms.
She'd always secretly had a crush on him since high school, but he never noticed her. Now she notices him bringing Linzie to school and the care he takes tending to her. Would a bad boy do that?
She notices that Linzie has the same sullen expression that he used to have when he was in school. She also notices that although Linzie is smart, she struggles with some things. How will Knox, but especially Linzie, react if she suggests Linzie be tested for a learning disability?
Just as things seem to be improving for all of them, Knox's past comes a-knockin'...

**Hot Sexy Bad Boy**
"My Bad Boy Valentine" by Annee Jones is the 13th book in the Hope Peek Valentine multi-author series released for the Valentine’s Day special. Who doesn’t love a reformed bad boy? In this instalove story, we meet Knox and Caroline as they find their happily ever after (HEA).
Returning to his hometown was the last thing Knox wanted to do, especially when it involved setting up a bike shop. However, for his little sister Linzie, he would do anything. He’s willing to endure a town that wrote him off as a troubled kid in his youth. What he didn’t expect was to see Caroline, his sister's teacher, now all grown up. She was the quiet girl from school, and while she used to shy away from him, she now can’t look away.
Caroline has always had a crush on the town's bad boy. Her parents taught her that good girls shouldn’t like bad boys, but she never saw Knox quite like that. Throughout school, she noticed a different side of him. Now, with his sister in her class, she watches him protect Linzie and strive to provide her with everything she needs.
As they spend more time together, their chemistry intensifies and their hands can’t help but touch each other. Despite their undeniable feelings, Knox's past soon comes back to confront him. He must stand up and protect both the girls he cares about. Will this finally convince the town to see the good in Knox, as Caroline and Linzie have always known?
This is a fantastic instalove story that is well-written and fast-paced, making it hard to put down. With only one more story left in this series, I can’t wait to read it! It has been a delightful Valentine’s sweet treat.

Seeing beyond his tattoos and troubled past to the man he is now, she puts her heart and reputation on the line to help him and Kinzie. When a vengeful rival from Knox’s past surfaces and threatens his future, he’ll have a chance to prove himself to the town.
This Valentine’s romance will warm your heart with its redemptive storyline. Proving that your past doesn’t have to define you, Knox makes his sister’s needs his priority. Caroline’s quiet strength and belief in both Knox and Kinzie are admirable traits. The narrow-mindedness of their small town is certainly believable and I was pleased with how attitudes changed over time. Love overcomes adversity
Returning to Hope Peak is Knox's worst nightmare, it's the place that let him down, the people that judged him by his parents failures, the place he thought he had escaped. But for his sister he will face and fight not only his demons, but hers too. Knox may be seen as a bad boy, but I see the boy who society failed, the scared, angry child who was screaming out for help, he has made mistakes, but who hasn't. He paid for those mistakes, he learnt his lesson and is now working on forgiveness and redemption as he fights to protect Linzie from the same judgements and failures that were his downfall. I really like Knox, he doesn't come back to Hope Peak defensive and with attitude, he returns quietly, attempting to avoid gossip. He knows he has allies in Ryder and Levi but Caroline comes as a surprise, a beautiful surprise he cannot resist embracing.
It is heartwarming to see Caroline blossom and grow as Knox gives her the confidence to truly be herself, the Caroline she has kept buried to this point.
Whilst the fickleness of the Hope Peak residents is very frustrating, I love that Knox and Caroline find each other, they have an unconditional love that gives hope and embraces second chances and redemption. I read this on Kindle Unlimited.

Caroline Belle and Knox Slater ,he was her high school crush ,the who she lusted after. Now the notorious bad boy is back in Hope Peak to take care of his sister Lizzie . Caroline , Miss middle school teacher dreams about him being her mister. Thanks to his sister ,he has an in. He’s walking about with a big fat grin. She’s getting to know Linzie’s brother as they’re put together for Valentine’s Day event planning . He thinks she’s neat ,adorably sweet . He doesn’t think a guy like he ,would stand a chance ,but then comes along their dalliance . He’s here to help his sister out and Caroline is in no doubt how she feels and when he kisses her she positively squeals with delight. Can Knox make her see that he could be the one . The one she can count on and take a chance ,this curvaceous beautiful woman the girl turned out to be he’s in awe of . It surely was meant to be . In the stars as true as the deep blue sea. She’s the one for me, he feels. How awesome is that ? I have to say ,I loved this great story in every way. Great writing and exquisite storytelling ,I found most compelling.

I really enjoyed this book and Knox & Caroline's story after getting glimpses of these characters in previous book and I am happy with how things worked out for them. It was also nice getting to know Knox's younger sister Linzie as well glimpses of characters from previous books. I haven't read Caroline's sister Mira's story about her and Colt yet but am adding it as well as future books set in this town to my TBR List.

My Bad Boy Valentine is part of the multi-authored Hope Peak Valentine's Day series. It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, opposites-attract, curvy girl gets her bad boy second chance Valentine's Day romance. Caroline is a sweet, curvy teacher. Knox is a hunky, inked, former bad boy who has returned home to take care of his younger sister and open a bike garage. Caroline had a crush on him all through high school, but he never really noticed her. When Linzie, Knox's younger sister, is having trouble in her class, she approaches Knox to see how she can help. The attraction between them is instant, but Knox is still being judged for his past mistakes. Caroline sees that, but will others? I loved this couple so much. They were perfect together and helped make each other stronger and more confident. Their chemistry was pure fire, and the ending was so happy after a bit of drama. I loved it!!!.

My Bad Boy Valentine by Annee Jones is a small-town, holiday, opposites attract delight. The main and supporting characters were well written and likeable. Caroline and Knox both worked on becoming the best version of themselves. Once they re-connected, they followed that journey together. I love how the author addressed the idea of acceptance, change, and forgiveness of oneself within the story and the characters. This short read romance is packed full of good writing, wonderful characters, romance, steam, and intrigue. It is part of the Hope Peak Valentine’s Day series but can be read as a standalone.

Knox had a difficult upbringing that led to some choices that found him incarcerated. He is determined to not repeat the mistakes of the past and that starts with his auto repair business and being there for his sister.
Caroline had feelings for Knox when they were in high school however he never saw her. Now that she his sister’s teacher she has his attention both when it comes to her and what his sister needs as she shows him that everyone deserves a second chance.
I enjoyed seeing the influence that Knox had on Caroline that allowed her to become more confident while she shows him that the man he was isn’t the man he is. They are exactly who the other needs in their life and there is a dash of danger to keep things interesting.

Okay, I really, REALLY loved this book! Bad Boy made good returning to care for his baby sister (who's 12 now). Knox and Linzie didn't have an easy time growing up in their small town, and Knox left as soon as he could. Yet, when Linzie needed him, he dug deep and returned- for her. Carolyn always had a crush on Knox but never said as much... they were too different. As Linzie's teacher, she and Knox need to work together to help her achieve her best. What happens, though, when Knox's past comes looking for payback? Are Linzie and Carolyn safe?

Childhood crush turns to love in this story. Caroline is a middle school teacher and one of her pupils is the sister of her school crush. Knox has spent time in prison as his parents were never there or high, leaving him to look after his sister. This meant he was left to become the town bad boy. When he returns to care for his sister he finds his attraction to Caroline is still there. Their HEA is a page-turner.

This is a quick story of redemption, determination, family and love. Knox is the bad boy who comes back to town to take care of his middle school aged sister. Caroline is her teacher. She and Knox had been in school together and she had a crush on him. Her family treated her like a child and they don't like Knox. The story is short and has a lot of sweet but also some spice. The danger of Knox's old life adds a note of intensity. 3.5 stars.

Knox is back in town because he needs to take care of his younger sister. He is having difficulty and is referring to her teacher who used to be one of his classmates. Caroline. She is willing to help and admittedly she's had a crush on him since high school, it's not middle school. Going against the grain is not what is expected of Caroline but she's willing to do it to help her students and to explore talking to Knox. Very lovable story. Always shooting for the underdog. Good adventure for small town.

Maybe she's a bad girl. - Caroline has crushed on Knox since grade school. When the town's bad boy returns to take care of his younger sister, the sweet teacher's not-so-secret longings resurface. While guiding him to help Lindsay, he sees one of the few people in town who treat him with respect. And Caroline doesn't care how anyone feels about them, including her parents. A lovely shorty with naughty moments that will make you blush and fun moments that will make you smile. The AI narrator didn't take much from the story.

This is a sweet read, well written with great characters. Caroline had a crush on Knox in high school and now he’s back in town as guardian of his sister. Caroline is his sisters teacher and needs to speak to him and when meeting again sparks fly. This is an enjoyable read, very sweet with a bit of intrigue and steam. I enjoyed this story.

This book is a fast read and really good story that will definitely have you hooked from the beginning until the end. Bad boy knox is back in town with his sister when he meets her teacher Caroline who used to crush in him but when sparks fly between them will his past come back to destroy them all? Cute story and i throughly enjoyed this book. Everyone deserves a second chance.
