So Right

Rate this book
An emotional, steamy, why choose romance from bestselling author Abby Millsaps.
It wasn’t supposed to be like this.

Spence swore he had a plan. He assured us he had everything under control. He promised we could trust him. What he forgot to mention?

His so-called plan was actually an emotional bombshell with enough force behind it to destroy us all.

Technically, his plan worked—my mother and stepfather have ended their campaign to convince me to be a living organ donor.

But the emotional damage and mental load of his big announcement has created a ripple effect throughout our cohort.

Greedy is haunted and despondent.
Levi is initially shocked, then filled with shame.
Sione is simply annoyed, because he knows this is all a ruse.
Spence is stoic but more determined than ever to ensure our safety.

As for me?

I feel it all. Every sorrowful reaction and warranted frustration thrums through my veins. But there’s something else there, A sense of longing. A deep-seated desire I’ve never allowed myself to admit.

After running the gamut of emotions, I finally land on a surprising I want a baby.

For real.
Right now.
With all of them.

This is it.

I’m ready to claim the happily ever after I deserve with all four of my men by my side. I just have to convince them to go along with my plan and hope like hell that my mother leaves us alone once and for all.

Abby Millsaps is an author and storyteller who's been obsessed with writing romance since middle school. In eighth grade, she failed to qualify for the Power of the Pen State Championships because all her submissions contained the same theme: young people falling in love. #LookAtHerNow

She's best known for writing unapologetically angsty romance that causes emotional damage for her readers. Abby prides herself in writing authentic characters while weaving mental health, chronic illness, and neurodiverse representation into the fabric of her stories.

Abby met her husband at a house party the summer before her freshman year of college. He had a secret pizza stashed in the trunk of his car that he was saving for a midnight snack—how was she supposed to resist that level of golden retriever energy and preparedness? When Abby isn't writing, she's reading, traveling, and raising her three daughters.

I love this series so much, and I'm so sad it's over! This was definitely a solid ending to the romance between Hunter and her guys and I loved seeing them finally get an HEA! Since this is the last book, it did give epilogue vibes, especially for the second half. You watch them navigate what a future together could look like and how they get there. It was a great conclusion to their story!

The first word that comes to mind is, WOW! I can't believe we are finally at the end of the Boys of South Chapel Series. Hunter has been one of my favorite FMCs and I have loved everything about her story. Her group of guys, or cohort as they've decided to call themselves, have experienced so much personal growth since book one and that makes them even more loveable. They are amazing as a group, but each one was given their time to shine. Despite their individual hang ups, traumas, and reservations, they all worked hard to navigate their complex dynamics and group relationships. I absolutely adore their individual relationships with each other and would love to experience their type of limitless love. This book has everything I want out of a poly relationship and why choose romance, with everyone loving everyone in their own special way. Abby really turned up the heat and spice level with this one! I, a seasoned smut reader, was definitely blushing a few times, especially at Greedy's newly discovered breeding kink. HOT HOT HOT is the only was to describe it.

I laughed out loud, shed some tears, and absolutely devoured this book. Abby really had me in my feels for this series ender. Its hard to think of a group that been through more than Hunter and her guys, yet they came out of the other side with their happily ever after. Abby truly wrote the perfect ending to this story. I have loved every moment of this wild ride. I'm sad its coming to an end, but it got the ending it deserved. I cannot recommend this series enough. Its *chef's kiss* a 10/10 from start to finish. If you haven't met Hunter and her guys, now if the perfect time!

RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨
SPICE: 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Okay but that was a whole ride! I’m speechless and don’t know what to say that won’t spoil the ending so I’ll simply say this.

Read this book, read this series, fall in love with these characters, I promise you won’t regret it!

Hunter. Spence, Levi, Greedy and Sione will live rent free in my head for all time. Your honor I love them.

✨ Why Choose MMMFM
✨ Grumpy Billionaire x golden retriever x cinnamon rolls
✨ An emotional roller coaster
✨ Found Family
✨ Spicy AF

There are so many other tropes I could list but this deserves to just be read blind so that you can experience the whole rollercoaster of this book. The ride was completely worth it and I’m so glad we got the happy ending we all deserved!

Also fight me, but Kabir Spencer was my favorite the moment he showed up and my love for him has never wavered and will never waver. I love them all but that man was *chefs kiss*

Abby had the ability to make me sweat, cry, and have emotional upheaval all at the same time and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

It’s been 24 hours give or take since I started this book and holy shit what a journey. This book was everything I was hoping for from these characters.

No spoilers I promise, but if you’re a proud member of the #greedygang like I am you’ll really enjoy this one.

Every character had an overall arc. Every guy has growth and hang ups to get over to lock in to the group so to speak. It was so perfect the way each character was given moments to shine, moments with Hunter, moments with each other. Truly so so happy with how this story turned out!! 🥹

And the spice!!!! 🥵⚔️🫠 Abby really turned up the fucking heat! It’s like someone said you can’t make it hotter than book 2 and 3 and she said BET. There’s a hot tub scene that is so spicy and hot the besties have agreed it is even better than the hot tub scene in book 2!

CW: if you have an issue with breeding kink, the use of the word seed (IYKYK), pregnancy, a young woman choosing motherhood before finishing college.. you likely won’t love this one my friends.

I’ve been an Abby Millsaps mega fan (I will never use the word “Stan”) for almost 2 full years now. I have read every single thing she’s written and I own all of her books so I am definitely biased. But when I say this book series really is great if you’re a ⚔️ why choose girly who loves some drama and lots of angst on the way to your happy ending. You will LOVE my girl Abby.

Thanks to Abby for letting me be part of her content team and the ARCs. 🩷🩵

The end of the series, but what truly feels like the end of an era as both the Boys of Lake Chapel and South Chapel have now come to a close. 📚🌈

I laughed, I cried, and like any Abby book, I most certainly was sweating and blushing through some of that spice.

Reading Abby's books has made me fall in love with the why choose genre. Just like the rest of the books in this series, we went on an emotional, fast paced ride with Hunter and her guys.
Hunter - our fierce, sassy, courageous, and resilient FMC.
Greedy - Hunter's 1st love and our protective, patient, and loving man.
Levi - our sweet, caretaking, southern gentleman, bi-confident king.
Spence - our British billionaire who's intelligent, confident, and a force to be reconned with.
Sione - our calm through the storm, gentle, spiritual, poetic, and thoughtful man.

Some of my favorite parts of this book were being back with our characters from the Lake Chapel series (which I encourage everyone to read before diving into the Boys of South Chapel series). In addition to that, we got to witness the powerful bond of friendship between Hunter and her bestie, Joey. Those girls have been through so much together, and to watch their friendship continue to flourish was beautiful.

I think there's something for everyone in Abby's books. From mental health rep, to multi awakenings, to discovering your worth, Abby's books will surely put you through a myriad of emotions. But rest assured, you'll be put back together at the end of the series. And what a beautiful ending we got. No spoilers! Let me just say I was in tears.

Favorite moments (some might be considered spoilers!!! proceed with caution):
- the bromance between Kylian and Spence
- Greedy's secret scorpion tattoo on his scalp which symbolizes his love for calling Hunter "Tem" after the goddess, Artemis
- the armadillo from Joey's books that was going to be potentially used to make Magnolia contract leprosy lol (but Joey said no because she loves that dillo)
- when Hunter was waking up in the hospital and she was in her pink cloud land with the flying paper planes and the group of guys she saw ahead of her with one of them holding a baby (made me feel like she was in her own personal heaven)
- the spicy chapters of trying to get Hunter pregnant (my GOD I think I almost god pregnant from reading those chapters lol)

Thank you so much to Abby for my eARC!

The way I could crawl inside this book and live forever. After all the emotional turmoil we get an ending that is just.. so right 💕

The depth and healing that takes place in this series is so underrated. Watching Hunter explore and understand what she needs to be healthy and functioning and unapologetic in asking for it is so empowering. Even though she struggles standing up for herself against Magnolia she has such a strong support system there for her. To be loved like Hunter is, is truly the dream.

Nothing upsets me more than when I final book in a series just doesn’t hit it for me :( I love Abby as an author, but I’d be lying if I said I liked everything.

I am thrilled at the HEA? Yes, 100% yes! But I’m just stuck wanting justice for Greedy?

I can’t say much more without giving spoilers and I don’t want to do this because someone people really will love this but certain planned scenes (honestly would have preferred it to be a surprise), and parts of the story that escalated out of.. nowhere? felt too out of character for me.

When the drama hit, the drama was good, Hunters mum is an utter psycho, and Greedy and Levi live in my head rent free, but unfortunately the low parts took over and the more I read the less I liked our FMC.

I love that we see our Lake Chapel boys more on this story, and the inclusion of them makes reading the Lake Chapel boys series, not essential, but extra special.

I’m so grateful that’s I’ve been given ARC copies of this series, particularly after how much I ADORE the Lake Chapel boys, but sad that I wasn’t a fan of some of the things that went on in this book.

Thank you Valentine PR and Abby for the opportunity to read this series start to finish 🩵

I enjoyed books 1 & 2 and after an ok book 3 I was really hoping book 4 brought me back. It did not.

It might just be me but Hunter is one of the most annoying FMC’s. Always the victim, always crying, and giving big Colleen Hoover FMC vibes. This girl goes from catatonic when someone says pregnant to encouraging a breeding kink hours later? There was just so much going on that didn’t make sense at all. Greedy just going full throttle (pun intended) on Levi after having zero interest before? The evil mom randomly entering so there can be a reason for the guys to come save her 🙄 Spence just “handling” the bitch? What?!! 😂 I still don’t even know why Sione is here. This was basically MMMFM breeding smut with a sprinkle of plot.

My 2 stars are for Kylian Walsh.

#Review: *So right* - Abby Millsaps - ALC [21+]
4.5/5✨
4.5/5🌶️

I was so curious about this last part of *Boys of South Chapel* series! It's imperative that the other 3 parts to be read before starting this one, because it continues the story exactly where the last one ended. I must thank Abby and Valentine Pr for this ALC!!

'So Wrong' ended with a cliffhanger, where Kabir stated to Hunter's family that she was pregnant without talking with the others at all. It was a shocking surprise for everyone but this had a secret purpose. From there on, the whole cohort was determined to do anything to protect Hunter from her crazy mother.

This whole situation made Hunter think that she really wanted to be a mother and a whole idea formed in her mind. What was for certain - this will be tied to all 4 men in her life, who loved and worshipped her in their own different way.

Greedy, Levi, Kabir and Sione had teamed up to make sure the one they loved was safe and would never get hurt by her evil mom. They had a bit of help from another cohort, the one Joey was surrounded by, who played a pretty big part in their whole scheme. I liked how well they worked together and how well they got along. It was fun, steamy and interesting to watch everything unfolding.

Abby has offered us another full of spice and suspense story! I loved to see how things evolved throughout this book and how their situation solved in the end. I liked the ending which was chosen, one that pleases everyone from my point of view🤭.

This entire series seemed to leave off on one big cliffhanger after another, so when Spence dropped that bomb at the end of So Rare that we KNEW would absolutely destroy Hunter, I couldn’t wait to dive right into So Right. This book wraps up the entire series in a messy but perfect little bow (there was a lot to work through) and I was so happy to see these five get their HEA!

Plot: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
Quantity of spice: 🌶️🌶️.5
Quality of spice: 🌶️🌶️🌶️
*There are seven spicy scenes in So Right. I’ve included the pages/chapters at the bottom of this review.*

Since this is the fourth book in the series, there isn’t much I can say without giving spoilers but I will say that this entire series was incredible! I went into the series totally blind and based on the covers, I thought they’d be a happy little contemporary romance.. but they are so so much more than that. There is great group and individual spice between incredibly caring and understanding partners, the relationships do go through their fair share of issues (both past and present), but you also see the struggles Hunter encounters with her PMDD every single month. Abby handled the story with such great care 💕

I cannot wait to go back and read the Lake Chapel series!

WHAT A FINALE 👏🏼 From beginning to end, I loved every moment of this wild and intense ride. 𝑺𝒐 𝑹𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 provides readers with a just and beautiful ending for Hunter & her cohort. My heart is content.

“𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴: 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘪𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘧𝘦𝘦𝘭𝘴 𝘵𝘰𝘰 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘺, 𝘐'𝘮 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦. 𝘞𝘦'𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦. 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘧𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘰𝘸𝘯."

Navigating any relationship comes with highs and lows but the fact that these characters are committed to their relationship, and determined to make it work no matter the cost is heartwarming. The love they share is deep, the trust is unwavering, and the healing journey is inspiring.

“𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘻𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘦𝘯 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘳𝘰𝘰𝘧 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘥. 𝘞𝘩𝘰 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘤𝘬 𝘣𝘺 𝘮𝘺 𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦. 𝘞𝘩𝘰'𝘷𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘺 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦 𝘵𝘰𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳. 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘸𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘦. 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘐 𝘸𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘳𝘶𝘯.”

There were many things that I absolutely adored throughout this book. Things that had me kicking my feet with excitement, especially all the subtle callbacks to the Boys of Lake Chapel. It was fun to be back at Crusade Mansion and see some familiar favorites. The family vibe between these cohorts is strong. Everything was truly perfect, from the friendships and banter to the romance and spice.

What am I going to do with myself now that the 𝙱𝚘𝚢𝚜 𝚘𝚏 𝚂𝚘𝚞𝚝𝚑 𝙲𝚑𝚊𝚙𝚎𝚕 series is complete?! Guess I’ll just have to reread it again and again.

⁺₊★·.´🎧✩°。 0:56 ──♡───── 3:32 ⁺₊🎧★·.·´

🎶 Remember when we couldn't take the heat? I walked out, I said, "I'm setting you free" 🎶

Spence (H) had sworn he had everything under control. He promised their safety, a solution to their problems, and a plan that would protect them all. What he failed to mention, however, was the emotional bombshell his plan would set off, one with enough force to destroy everything they’d built. Technically, the plan worked: Hunter’s mother and stepfather have finally ceased their relentless campaign to pressure her into becoming a living organ donor. But the emotional fallout is far from over, and its effects ripple through their tight-knit cohort.

─── ・ 。゚☆: THOUGHTS*.☽ .*:☆゚. ───

[Greedy]

For a moment, still seated fully and with hands splayed on either side of her and my arms locked, all I can do is admire the woman who will carry my children one day.

“This is how I’m coming.” I rut into her, my orgasm building from the base of my spine to the top of my skull and through my extremities. “I’m as deep as humanly possible, Tem. Filling you up. Right here, right now.”

I’ll always believe that Hunter will never love the other boys as much as she loves Greedy. They have something different, a bond that’s just theirs. It’s the kind of relationship that no one else can share because it’s built on that lost child — that piece of them that never came to be but still ties them together. When Spence lied about Hunter being pregnant, Greedy was seriously upset, worried he wouldn’t be the father, and ended up hashing things out with Levi. But Hunter, she went to Greedy and let him know that she could be with Levi just as much as Levi and Greedy could be together. I’m still shocked the first child wasn’t Greedy’s. It doesn’t matter in the end, but it’s clear he wanted that piece of her so badly. Greedy loves her more than anyone, and while he has his relationship with Levi and Spence, being with Hunter will always come first. What they share is special and changed them both in a way no one else could understand. Now they’ve got their little bubble of happiness, they can have all the babies they want, and stay in love, especially with all their targets, like Hunter’s mom, out of the picture. It’s their time now.

[Levi]

“I’m sorry we woke you. I’m especially sorry that we made you think something was wrong. But Levi and I are allowed to be together without you, just like you and I were together without him earlier. Just like the two of you are allowed to be together without me.”

“I didn’t mean you two can’t be together—”

I’m so here for my submissive boy😩 He’s just so down bad for Spence, and I love seeing him lose control around him. There’s something about that dynamic that just gets me every time. Like, the way he lets go around Spence, it’s just chef’s kiss. Now, don’t get me wrong, I do love Levi and Greedy too because they’ve been through so much together as best friends, but honestly, their bond never felt as natural to me. It always seemed like a bit of a calculated move to make the whole harem thing work, especially since Greedy’s always been so hopelessly in love with Hunter. It kind of felt like it was always meant to be just them two, you know? But at the same time, Levi is loyal to his group and loves them all, and that’s something I can definitely respect. It’s like they all have their own thing going, but Greedy and Hunter’s connection is just on a different level.

[Sione]

“Do you want to make love, Si?”

“I do not. I just want to hold you and give our souls this quiet time, when the demands of the world and the others don’t feel quite so loud.”

With Sione, I don’t have to overthink anything. Our souls intertwine and soothe each other with little conscious effort.

Honestly, he should've never been inserted into the harem. It’s not even about him not wanting to share, it’s more about the fact that he doesn’t even have feelings for the others — he’s all about Hunter. That’s it. Now, it feels like he’s just stuck on the sidelines, and it sucks because he doesn’t fit into the whole group dynamic. He’s not into being part of the action with everyone else, and it shows. What he has with Hunter is special though. His loyalty to her is undying, and he takes care of her in ways that no one else does, especially with her cycle. That’s his role — he’s her listener, her protector. He’s not always craving intimacy or anything like that; he just wants her presence, and that’s enough for him. It’s not about the big, dramatic moments for him, it’s the quiet, subtle things.

[Spence]

“I hurt everyone, I know. But Hunter didn’t have to hurt anyone because of my choice. And that’s exactly what it was: my choice. I made the call. I stand by my actions, even if you hate me, the boys hate me, or, gods forbid, she hates me. I put her first, knowing damn well she may not have put herself first if given the opportunity.”

MY MAN MY MAN. He took care of business. I love him bad. Now this book took a twist with him taking her mother and making sure she never came back if you know what I mean, but still this just6 shows he takes care of his people and that includes hunter, levi and greedy. That is his GIRL AND HIS BOYS. He loves what is his and he is do dominant that it leaves me on the floor. I have no complaints about this man, I love him.

─── ・ 。゚☆: FRIENDSHIP*.☽ .*:☆゚. ───

[Hunter + Jo & her boys]

“Decker.” I rush to him and throw my arms around his neck. “Thank you. Thank you so much.”

His rueful, boyish grin is back as he says, “five second rule,” with a knowing smirk.

“The five second rule? That applies to food on the floor, Cap. Not hugs.”

“You’re right. We should probably implement a three second rule to appease His Royal Highness.”

MY SHAYLAAASSSS😭💖 I absolutely love their platonic friendships! Decker is literally the definition of a protective big brother, treating her like a sister and always having her back. The fact that he invited her to stay in his home, all because he regrets not protecting her the first time around — even though he didn’t know what was happening — just hits me right in the feels. He really cares about her and that loyalty is everything. And then there’s Jo. She’s such an amazing friend to Hunter, and their bond is just pure friendship. Jo and Hunter are total ride-or-die girls for each other, and the way Hunter named her baby close to Jo’s name to honor that bet they made? I’m crying, it’s so sweet. MY GIRLS are everything. I’m here for this love, loyalty, and the bond they share. 💖

─── ・ 。゚☆: OVERALL*.☽ .*:☆゚. ───

I’m so happy Hunter got her happy ending, but honestly, this book was not what I expected. It basically turned into a non-stop pregnancy parade with Hunter popping out one kid after another. Like, I get it, the breeding king energy is real, but this wasn’t exactly the plot I thought I was signing up for. It kinda turned into just about her having babies, and while I’m not complaining because, hey, who doesn’t love a little breeding kink action, I was hoping for more in the story. But at the end of the day, I didn’t write the book, so I’ll take it. It’s what we got, and I can’t be mad about it. I just didn’t expect the whole baby factory vibe to take over. Still, happy for Hunter because I know she wanted to be a mother.

So Right truly gave me everything I was hoping for as Abby brought this series to a close. There is no author who is harder to write reviews for without giving away too much, so here’s what I’ll say:

Magnolia St. Claire - she is up there tied as my most hated character. Abby really wrote a villain.

Greedy - my love. My favorite boy from book 1 onward. All I wanted was to see him happy, and Abby gave us that. Also, breeding kink was so hot.

The rest of Hunter’s cohort - the way they all found their place made me smile.

Hunter - girl went on a journey. Her character growth was phenomenal.

Joey and her cohort - loved seeing everyone again and the interactions between all the characters.

If you’ve been waiting to binge because the first 3 books ended on cliffhangers, now is the time to get caught up! Just know that whatever turmoil Abby puts you through in the first three, she makes it play out perfectly in the final installment.

Wow!! Book 4 did not come to play. Great ending to the series.

If you love Why Choose then you definitely need to read the Boys of South Chapel series and the Boys of Lake Chapel series. (You get to see those characters throughout this book.)

This is the 4th and final book in the Boys of South Chapel series, and so many things happen. I definitely felt each individual relationship grew stronger as well as the group dynamic. This really pulls together how Hunter and her men are meant to be. Greedy, Levi, Spence, and Sione all bring something different to the group and give Hunter what she needs.

Emotions are high in this final story, but the found family aspect grows not only in Hunter's group but between her men and Joey's men. (Boys of Lake Chapel)

The spice is also hot, hot, hot!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥

"No more running."

So Right is the last book of the Boys of South Chapel series. It begins right where So Rare the previous book ended. I'm going to try to leave my review kind of vague so I don't spoil anything about this book or series.

Spence has always been my favorite of the guys. I love how he takes charge of things and does whatever needs to be done to keep Hunter and the guys safe.

Greedy grew so much in this book discovering things about himself that he never suspected.

Levi remained sweet and caring. And never afraid to try new things.

Sione is Hunter's guiding light. He has a presence that always calms and anchors her.

I absolutely loved how the author was able to incorporate the Boys of Lake Chapel series characters into this series. I have always loved a crossover moment! And this book did not disappoint. Hunter and Joey have the friendship everyone strives to have so it's only perfect that we see so much of her in this book.

I feel like this is the end of the era. A door has closed. But I'm also hopeful we will see more of these characters in another series. I need a full book or novella of just Hunter and her family together.

A phenomenal ending to a phenomenal series. I’ll love these 5 until my dying days. They’re SEAMLESS. I’m so incredibly sad that this series has come to its conclusion. Not only this series but I feel like we said goodbye to the Boys of Lake Chapel as well. They made quite a few main appearances in this book, and I loved seeing Kylian and my man Spence have such a tight bromance. 🥹

This entire book had me deep in my feelings, I laughed with them, I teared up over them, and I’m so happy they all got their (finally) HEA. I can’t think of 5 more deserving characters, than these. They STRUGGLED for FOUR BOOKS to finally be rid of Hunters mother, and be together.

I don’t know how Abby could have tied this up any better than she did. My only wish was that it was longer so I could see how all of their individual careers, and lives worked out. We know the direction they’re heading, but I miss them already.. and I’m feeling GREEDY (HA!)

So Right is full of swords crossing, relationships blooming, tough decisions and feelings, happiness, and care. So much care from Sione and the boys to bring Hunter the ultimate comfort she’s long needed.

Spence really was the star of the show here. He takes charge, he takes care, and he gets things done. He also has such sweet moments with each character that really made me fall in love with him even more.

These books must be read in order ! Do not pick up book 2 without reading book 1.. etc.

What a beautiful conclusion to a beautiful series. I’ll be thinking of these 5 for the rest of my days. I miss them already. I’ll forever be needing more of them.

So Right brought us such a special ending to this series and I'm a little sad it's over. Hunter and her guys came together and created the most beautiful found family. Each character overcame many struggles throughout this series and to see them come together and be happy was everything.

Greedy is a fierce proctor who unlocks a delicious kink in So Right.
Levi is somewhat of our broken boy but is also our favorite cinnamon roll.
Kabir, oh Kabir, he's overly protective, a little possessive and has knack to take control in and out of the bedroom.
Sione has this go with the flow attitude, a beautiful peaceful aura. He brings positive reasoning to the dynamic.

And our beautiful Hunter. She has been through so much and still has struggles but she's such a strong woman. Her guys love her fiercely and she deserves every ounce of love.

I also loved how we got to see our favorites from Boys of Lake Chapel. It was so nice to see how Joey and her guys helped Hunter navigate her "cohort" lol

This is the last book in the Boys of South Chapel series and they must be read in order.

4 ⭐️ This ending was just So Right. I’m sorry. I couldn’t help myself with that. This entire series wraps up in such a beautiful way. Guys, this is an ENDING to a series that needs to be read in order. Don’t just be starting Willy Nilly wherever you want. READ IN ORDER.

Abby knows how to write some STREAMY spice with so much variety. With this series being MMMFM, you have so many options. The plot gets resolved in such a satisfying way as well. I adored the character growth of some of our men along with our queen Hunter.

We also get some cameos from our Boys of Lake Chapel crew that made me giddy. Stats daddy and Sione was a combo that made me just cackle.

To get the most out of this series, I really think you need to read The Boys of Lake Chapel first, then start South Chapel.

Check your triggers! There’s lots of baby and pregnancy talk in this one. So if that’s not your thing, that’s ok but this book won’t be for you. If you love a breeding k!nk then YES YES YES.

I’m going to try my best not to give any spoilers away. This book—and the entire series—has been a powerful, emotional ride that dives into heavy topics with such grace, honesty, and depth that it leaves an imprint long after you finish reading. There’s such a balance between smexy time, to emotional understanding and trauma, to silly goofy times.

Millsaps tackles difficult themes of mental health, trauma, love, and healing. The characters are flawed, vulnerable, and so incredibly real that you can’t help but root for them every step of the way. The way Abby explores the complexities of relationships—whether familial, romantic, or self-acceptance—is both tender and raw.

The whole series is not just about overcoming obstacles; it’s about the process, the setbacks, and the moments of clarity that come slowly but powerfully. I’m so sad that the series has come to a close.

I’m so happy I got to experience Hunter and her ~cohort~!!

“𝘞𝘦 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘪𝘵. 𝘞𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘪𝘵. 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭. 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵.”

I couldn’t put this book down! I have anxiously been awaiting Hunter & her guys’ happy ending and this was everything I needed it to be! ✨ This series has put us all through an emotional ringer but it was so worth it.

THIS IS IT!

It was so nice seeing how all of Hunter’s men have started to settle into their relationships with each other. They are all so unique but the connection between them, whether it’s intimate or just friendship is so nice to see!

“𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘭𝘰𝘸𝘴 𝘸𝘰𝘯’𝘵 𝘢𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘪𝘵. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘤𝘢𝘯’𝘵 𝘸𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘯 𝘪𝘵. 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘧𝘦. 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘥. 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘢𝘳𝘬 𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘦. 𝘕𝘰𝘵 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯.”

The spice in this book is off the charts friends. Prepare your soul to be burned alive in the best possible way! ❤️‍🔥

There was some really satisfying revenge that takes place finally! I don’t want to spoil anything but it was UNEXPECTED.

My favorite guy will forever be Kabir! I just want to wrap this man in a hug and never let go.

“𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘢𝘳𝘬𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘵𝘩𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦, 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘮𝘶𝘳𝘬𝘪𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘭𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘥𝘢𝘳𝘬𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘥𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘴 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘦𝘹𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥.”

I loved seeing Joey and her guys! The friendship between Joey and Hunter is the best. We all deserve a bestie like that!

Run friends, you need to finish this story!

I prefer the North Chapel Boys. Idk this kinda lost its way for me. Sione felt completely unnecessary. I guess no one can be as good as stats daddy :/

Updating review to include how I feel about the audio: OMG THE AUDIO ABOUT TOOK ME OUT! IT WAS INCREDIBLE! Everything that I expected, as the same narrators are in this one as the previous audios, and they did a phenomenal job! It is dual narration, and all of the different narrators did a great job bringing every character to life, and made this an incredible listening experience! So HOT, so beautiful, just, ugh EVERYTHING!

I am so so sad that this series is over, but omg did I absolutely LOVE IT!

I loved the journey that Hunter and her cohort were on throughout the series, and this conclusion is just the best way to wrap up their story! All of them, even Spence, grew so much & even though they aren't perfect, they were perfect for each other.

If you read So Rare, you know that the cliffy was a doozy! The way it brought up so many emotions for Hunter, Greedy, and even Levi made me just want to hug them all! The other side of this was that it made Hunter really think about what she wanted family wise, & man did it get HOT HOT HOT with Greedy (he'll forever be my favorite, I'm not sorry!). Spence is the literal definition of a mastermind though, so it had to happen to protect Hunter, & help along his overall plan.

Seeing Spence let down his guard with Sione made me weep! It was such a beautiful part of the book! You'll know it when you get there!

This could go on for days, but I highly recommend this one, and the entire series! I love love love these characters, their love, their dynamics, & how they just took hold of my heart! The spice is spicin', as well as the love is LOVE'in!

PS: EFF MAGNOLIA! I don't feel one ounce of sympathy for her hehe

DNF @ 47%

This was not a bad book by any means. The narrators gave a good performance, and I liked that there was a different narrator for each male lead. While I always love a duet narration performance, I know how expensive they are. I imagine this audio was already expensive with different narrators, however, I do think duet would have helped, because every male narrator did their own version of the FMCs voice. So sometimes I wasn't sure if the FMC was speaking or a female side character.

None of the above is the reason I ultimately decided to DNF this audiobook. I DNFed, because I already had low investment into this series because I found it frustrating that every book ended with the introduction of another new love interest. Don't get me wrong, I love a why choose. But I found it frustrating each time I felt like I got to know the love interests, become invested in their character and story and suddenly everything was being disrupted by another new character. <--- again, not the reason I DNFed, because while frustrating, I always ended up loving the new MMC and got passed it.

However, what really sent me over the edge was the endless baby talk. I mean zero disrespect to people who have or want children and I don't mean to be insensitive towards those who struggle to conceive or have lost babies. But it felt like every single conversation in this book was some variation of: your pregnant! Just kidding you're not actually, BUT you will need to pretend to be pregnant, reliving the trauma of a miscarriage that these characters seriously need therapy to process and screaming out "put a baby in me" during spicy scenes. It was SO MUCH about babies. It felt like every single conversation and inner monologue somehow brought up a baby. And as someone who doesn't typically care for the accidental pregnancy trope, etc. in books and the fact that I got married in September and have people constantly asking me about when I'm going to get pregnant, it unexpectedly triggered (not in a traumatic way, but in a gave me the major ick way).

Again, this is very much as case of it's not a bad book, just not for me particularly not for me at this time in my life. I like this series, these characters (even though they drive me crazy), and I probably would have enjoyed the rest of this book in normal circumstances. I just can't handle it right now.

Actually so disappointed by this series. I really enjoyed the first book after receiving an ARC, and couldn’t wait for the rest of the series to come out. Book two wasn’t as good as the first, but I still had hopes for the series to be good. Book three was horrible but since I did the audiobook, I pushed through at 2x speed. When the fourth book came out I felt like I had to just finish the series since I’ve devoted too much time to it. The fact that I’m not in a permanent book slump after this is a MIRACLE. What started as a love triangle drama with intense family suspense turned into the most insufferable reverse sister wives Wattpad disaster. When you have FIVE main characters, you absolutely cannot use their government name AND their nickname. I didn’t know who was who half the time and who each nickname was from. It was insane and sloppy and genuinely infuriating. The characters were all awful and every time someone was added into the storyline, the book got worse. I have recommended the first and second, but since finishing the series, please do not waste your time. I take back every single recommendation for this book
