For a moment, still seated fully and with hands splayed on either side of her and my arms locked, all I can do is admire the woman who will carry my children one day.
“This is how I’m coming.” I rut into her, my orgasm building from the base of my spine to the top of my skull and through my extremities. “I’m as deep as humanly possible, Tem. Filling you up. Right here, right now.”
“I’m sorry we woke you. I’m especially sorry that we made you think something was wrong. But Levi and I are allowed to be together without you, just like you and I were together without him earlier. Just like the two of you are allowed to be together without me.”
“I didn’t mean you two can’t be together—”
“Do you want to make love, Si?”
“I do not. I just want to hold you and give our souls this quiet time, when the demands of the world and the others don’t feel quite so loud.”
With Sione, I don’t have to overthink anything. Our souls intertwine and soothe each other with little conscious effort.
“I hurt everyone, I know. But Hunter didn’t have to hurt anyone because of my choice. And that’s exactly what it was: my choice. I made the call. I stand by my actions, even if you hate me, the boys hate me, or, gods forbid, she hates me. I put her first, knowing damn well she may not have put herself first if given the opportunity.”
“Decker.” I rush to him and throw my arms around his neck. “Thank you. Thank you so much.”
His rueful, boyish grin is back as he says, “five second rule,” with a knowing smirk.
“The five second rule? That applies to food on the floor, Cap. Not hugs.”
“You’re right. We should probably implement a three second rule to appease His Royal Highness.”
