Josiah has been talking to someone on the internet, someone he is very excited to meet. Unfortunately for Josiah, he's going to a house he may not be walking out of.
House Call 2 is the gross out sequel that's every bit as depraved and unhinged as the first book! Be sure to grab your barf bag before stepping into this House of Horrors!

Mr. Garnish and Slim are back in this sick, twisted sequel! The vile and demented brothers have a new prisoner, Josiah, who is not exactly an innocent victim himself. Every time I started feeling sorry for him I'd just remember what he was. These books are extreme horror so they're not for the faint of heart or if you have a weak stomach.

This is basically a sequel to House Call—and wow, it’s just as depraved, disgusting, and weirdly entertaining.

We’re back with Garnish and Slim, but this time they’re not alone... we have Josiah! Three men with absolutely twisted proclivities, all under one roof? Yeah… it goes exactly where you think—and then way, way beyond (slight joke if you’ve read it).

Matthew Vaughn, what is this depraved, stomach-turning madness you’ve written? And why, WHY did I enjoy it so much?

Also—fuck social media, the marketplace, and uh… creeps.

P.S. I FUCKING HATE MAGGOTS

A Horror Bookworm Recommendation
House Call 2: House Of Horrors by Matthew Vaughn
https://horrorbookwormreviews.com/

In an unassuming home, on a bland street, lives two brothers. One, a sick man named Mr. Garnish, the other a deformed monster. Both perverted men lay the bait for their unfortunate victims that are trapped with no place to go. One thing is for certain, never judge a book by its cover.

Let’s not waste any time and jump right into the cauterized meat of House Call 2: House Of Horrors by Matthew Vaughn. Blow torches, securely locked collars, rusty pliers and an empty bucket to shit in, these are the tools used for the house that Matthew Vaughn built. When it comes to House Call 2, think of an extreme episode of To Catch A Predator and you have the ultimate confrontation of evil. From fecal fetish freaks to rape rituals, this is an enduring defilement of a story that ultimately leads to a shocking revelation.

Matthew Vaughn’s controversial depictions of graphic violence and sexual content is like joining the Splatterpunk mile-high book club. It’s an exclusive club that not everybody will be able to stomach because of its brutal violations and disgusting behaviors. House Call 2 has gotta be one of the single most disturbing stories I’ve read in some time. Even when going through my notes I cringed for a second time.

The reason I love Matthew Vaughn’s work is his exploration into the darkest aspects of human behavior. This can be a form of escapism from everyday life. If you know his characters are willing to cross any immoral line, the unpredictability factor is very high. I love authors that push boundaries and break new ground by challenging the reader to confront extreme taboo subjects.

If House Call 2 was ranked on the hot sauce Scoville scale, it would equal The Pepper X (the world’s hottest pepper). My favorite quote is “Please, come on in.” A five star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Horror Bookworm Recommendation.

I’m not sure what exactly I was expecting when I got into House Call 2 by Matthew Vaughn but it certainly wasn’t what I was presented with at all. That book was like if House Call 1 got violently impregnated by an absolute roid rage crack binge psycho fest and had House Call 2 as its baby. I’m not even confident my sanity or well being are still in tact after that and I’m severely questioning that of Matt.

The story continues where the prequel left off with a man named Mr. Garnish and his brother Slim who have some major secrets and skeletons in their closets. Matt focused meticulously on the fine details in this one homing in on the bizarre, grotesque and depraved nature of its contents. The things that occur in this book take creative torture to a completely different level deserving of its own applause.

This series solidifies Matthew Vaughn’s role in the splatterpunk realm with confidence and he should be damn proud of what he has created here.

So, we return to make another House Call, to visit the depravities of Mr Garnish and his brother once again. And once again Vaughn will have you gagging from the off! Add to that, all the trauma and nightmare images from the first book that come rushing back to you, like projectile vomit! 😂

This one goes hard, even harder than the first one, and that takes some doing! But Vaughn knows exactly what he is doing, and he does it with fucked up flair. So very, vividly descriptive as always! 🤢

Jam packed with the usual sick debauchery and putrid, barbaric torture, with a side dish of cannibalism. There are also a few survival tips thrown in, like what to do if you're cold or run out of toilet paper... 😉

"Garnished" with a whole lot of sick fuckery, this will make your teeth stand on edge and your stomach churn like a bubbling cesspit….oh, and there's a twist, a great twisted twist!!

If you thought House Call 1 was disturbing then this one is simply depraved. Slim & Mr.Garnish have fresh victims. The twist is that Josiah is arguably more disgusting than his captors.
I squatted over his head and reached behind me to grab my ass cheeks and spread them apart. With my cheeks spread, I sat on his head and ran my shit covered asshole back and forth. His hair felt like it was doing the trick, good enough that I instantly felt relief.
Fun appearances from the victims in book 1! I won't spoil how though😁

I am thoroughly shocked! This is the most disgusting book out of the two I have read in the House Call Series! The brothers are back at it again this time with a guy named Josiah. What happens in this story? You will have to read it to find out!

Following on from House Call - Josiah has been duped by an online acquaintance who he was meeting for sex, finding himself locked in a basement by a weedy little man and his hideously deformed brother. He's tortured, abused, and cannibalised by the brothers until he begins to go insane and see the ghosts of previous victims. Will he escape and get out alive, or will he just be another lost and forgotten sufferer?

I loved House Call. It was foul and absolutely disgusting, however it was nothing in comparison to this sequel. The scenes are more barbaric, more visceral, and definitely more depraved. This is one to read if you're really wanting to push yourself and your boundaries because it's not for everyone - this comes with almost every trigger you can think of (bar animal abuse) and will be a rough one. Matthew never fails to shock and horrify! Read in one sitting like a sicko, it's a great sequel!

“I'm into some unsavory shit, but I was never into sucking the bloody shit bits off my brother's dick kind of kink.”

I can’t go as hard as I’d like to with this review because I’ll definitely be Zucked. So please know I’m toning it way down which sounds crazy, but trust me, I am. 🤫

Damn. Okay. Hear me out… I guess. 😂 Fecal kink… but make it your brother who looks like Sloth from The Goonies after you both have done some seriously depraved things to other people… yeah, yup. Then make it 10x worse, and you have this book. 🫠🫣🤣

Like wow Matt, you really did all that. 💀 I didn’t think Bowery could be beat with all the gag worthy and foul scenes. Then I read House Call 1 (which almost made me tap out when I was just 37% in). Then Vaughn said, “hold my beer,” and emailed me House Call 2. 😭💩🤮 I’ll be honest, I haven’t been reading as many WILDLY UNHINGED stories lately, and I tend to glance over any warnings Matt might give me beforehand… but perhaps I should’ve actually read them this time. 🫡😝😬

All of that being said, Vaughn took on some REALLY fucked up topics with this one, far beyond the fecal kink. But here’s the thing, he wrote the subject matter in a way that while yeah, it’s uncomfortable to read, but you can get through it… maybe. 🤭 Now when it came to all the fecal and brother loving stuff… I took a couple pauses here and there. 🥴🤮😆

This book is another prime example of why Vaughn is easily one of my favorite authors in this genre and another reminder of why he was nominated for a Splatterpunk Award. No matter what he writes, he fucking nails it EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. 🤌🏼

House Call 2 releases Monday, November 25th, but is available for preorder now. You need a strong stomach and mindset for this one, but I absolutely recommend the hell out of it. 👏🏼

It’s no secret, I’m a huge fan of Matthew Vaughn. I eagerly await every new release. Vaughn is one of those authors who is continually honing his craft, refining his storytelling and technical skills with each new tale. If you read House Call, you probably thought Vaughn really extended himself with the level of violence and depravity and you’d be right. Maybe you expect the sequel to be more of the same and you’d be right…and wrong.

House Call 2 brings us back to Mr. Garnish’s house of horrors. What, did you think Garnish was done taking care of his brother’s dark desires? This time we meet a stand up guy named Josiah…bahaha nah, he’s actually a pedophile who arrives at Garnish’s house hoping to meet a young boy he’d been talking to online. And before you start thinking maybe Garnish has taken a cue from Dexter and decided to punish the wicked, think again. Garnish is no Chris Hansen. There is no redemption for Garnish or his brother. No, he has continued where he left off and is more depraved and violent than ever. Let’s just say Josiah definitely gets what he deserves and more. Unfortunately, he is not the only casualty of the desires that got him into this position in the first place.

I don’t want to give away too much of the story. If you like fucked stories about fucked up people, you might like House Call 2. If you liked House Call, you’ll love House Call 2. If you’re even a little squeamish, well…maybe pass. Vaughn hits on all the major triggers in this one. Splatter hounds will love it. I sure did.

This installment essentially picks up where the first one left off. Creed the plumber was the star of the show in book one, and now we're on to electrician Josiah. However, he was lured to the house not under the guise of performing a service but because of who he thought he would be meeting--a young boy. He quickly realizes he's made a terrible mistake, but it's too late. Mr. Garnish and his brother Slim are back to brutalize another victim.

The gore factor in this one jumped tremendously. The descriptions were absolutely vile, and the taboo topics were plentiful and extremely detailed. I felt sympathy for Creed because as far as I knew, he was a good dude. but Josiah? Eff that guy.

There was a paranormal element that I wasn't sure of, but overall, this was one putrid, nasty pearl-clutcher. On to book three!

House Call 2 from Vaughn is here! The return of Mr. Garnish and Slim, two of the most vile characters ever written. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again Vaughn truly is a master in every horror sub genre he tries his hands at, and when he goes extreme, you better be prepared to go to some very dark places.
This book comes in hard and stays there. Several times throughout the story, my face took on a visible look of disgust and shock. If you thought Vaughn pushed the limits with the original House Call, well it is safe to say that he easily revved it even further this time around. Pure evil is what you get here, no holds barred extreme fiction at its finest! Check all your triggers at the door, proceed with caution, and most of all ENJOY!

Okay, going in, I knew that this was going to be even worse than the first book, but I still wasn't prepared for everything that ensued.

In this story, a pedophile is targeted to be the brothers next victim. The journey this time is even more depraved and stomach churning than before. I gagged and definitely felt sick while reading this one. Matthew really did this to us, AGAIN.

I really enjoyed the paranormal aspect that was brought in during this sequel. I wasn't expecting it at all and found it to be a really nice touch and the end was perfect!

Grab a bucket and give this a whirl. Oh and maybe hold off on the snacks for this one...

Wow! They weren't kidding when they said this book was worse than the first one.

Like the first book, this one was vile, disgusting, in addition to being absolutely sick.

If you read the first one and made it through, it doesn't mean you will with this one, so check those triggers before even reading the first page of chapter one.

Although it was a bit rough, I continued to read it because I enjoy this author's work and love how descriptive he is.

Josiah is a monster in a house with two other monsters, one of which makes him do some sickening shit!

I was happy to see Creed and Joe make an appearance, and I absolutely loved the ending!

House of nasty

5 stars for being so disgusting! These brothers are the worst people to ever exist and for the love of god don’t go in their house. The descriptions of the little brown bits in his teeth… hahaha that one gets me cringing. Great job Matthew!
