Hayley is content just the way she is, thank you very much, even if she and her friends are the school misfits. Alex makes her feel things she wants to keep buried because Hayley has also been hiding a secret of her own.

Numb is the story about two very different people who discover that appearances can be deceptive and underneath they’re not so different after all.

The characters in this were okay, but I didn't really love them.

This was an alright read, but the pacing was a bit slow for me, and I felt bored at times because of it.

I really enjoyed this story!! Ok, so it desperately needs some editing - fix up some of the words and typo's - but the actual storyline was great. I really felt these characters - always a good sign. The pace was great, it didn't drag on too long, the development of the relationship between Haley and Alex was one of the better ones I have read - you actually get why they like each other, it's built on getting to know each other over time, which I really enjoyed. I am very surprised I liked this as much as I did - I thought it was going to be shit to be honest!! Very pleasantly surprised!
