Mark Twelve days on a cruise sounds like heaven to most people. Twelve days on a cruise with the Carters is something else entirely. All I have to do is get through the flight to the Bahamas. But as soon as I see my stalker neighbour next to me, I know getting to the buffet before my uncle Max is going to be the least of my problems. Our paths keep crossing, however, rather than being a thorn in my side, I find myself becoming intrigued by the drama that always seems to find her. I guess spending time with the enemy doesn’t seem so bad when she keeps things interesting.
Freya I'm convinced my neighbour is going to see me on the next season of Neighbours From Hell. And with each interaction, he infuriates me more. He stole my cat. My doormat. And for some insane reason only explainable to him, he thinks I’m obsessed with him. To make matters worse, my family are emotionally blackmailing me into going to my sister's wedding. However, if it gets me away from my sticky-fingered neighbour and shuts my parents up, I'll go on this cruise and watch my sister marry my ex. I can handle my family for twelve days. When I find out Mark Carter is also on the same cruise, I come to realise something too late. There is no handling a Carter.
This is probably the best book in the second generation, Mark is a very good hero but she is amazing! The book is safe and quite romantic, the sex scenes are good but honestly all the drama with her sister is toooo long and at some point I was like why are you there woman!!! Her sister is getting married to heroine’s ex and her family is all happy about it. She goes to the wedding 🙄🙄🙄 and it gets boring and exhausting… you don’t know if her ex loves the sister or not!!!
Mark and his family are funny as usual and it makes the wedding more entertaining,
Good book but I recommend to start with the original brothers books, their family motto is that Cheating is for weak people… not all the books are 100% safe but there’s no cheating,

Freya is not thrilled to have been guilted into going on the wedding cruise for her estranged sister to her ex-boyfriend. Talk about adding salt to the wound, she has gotten over the betrayal but her everyone in her family thinks she is still broken. The last thing she needs on the trip is Mark Carter, her next door neighbor who has stolen her cat, her doormat and for reasons only the universe can explain he thinks she is stalking him.
Mark is happy to be spending time with his family and to keep an eye on his Uncle Max to make sure he doesn't ruin anything with his crazy antics. When he sees his stalker on board, he warns her away but then he begins to see a different side of her and his family love her. He has gone from thinking she is a pest to wanting to protect her from her family. What happens when the attraction gets too much to ignore, could it be the feuding neighbors are each others perfect match.
Exceeded expectation, Mark is on of those characters that is present in the other books but also a bit of a mystery. Freya, oh Freya she is a delightful mess. The whole book was a fabulous read.
Lisa Helen Gray never ceases to amaze me with her books. Every one she releases gets better and I don't even know how that is possible because they are all 5 stars. At this point, I am going to start giving them 6 stars but that may cause a malfunction in the system.
This was such a unique book as it took place on a cruise ship and the whole Carter clan was there which means I had endless laughter. I did not think the Carters could get more crazier or funnier but they surprised me. I mean Max, if you know you know, outdid himself, I could not stop laughing. Freya, the female lead, had her own crazy funny family aka her Nan. Lisa Helen Gray writes the funniest amazing nan's ever and I just want to be them.
This book is not only funny but heartwrenching as well. I had tears streaming down my face. Lisa Helen Gray just knows how to make me cry. I have tearstains in all of my books by her.
Mark and Fraya were a beautiful couple that had the best banter. I loved them together and how their relationship grew into a love story for the ages.
Lisa Helen Gray blew me out of the water with this book and I cannot wait to read the next book in the series.
I stumbled across Gray and her series ages ago, and I have loved every single one of them since. Whenever I see a preorder option, I take it without a second thought. There’s always a perfect balance between sweet and sad. The characters are beautiful, brash, and loud, and I love every second of Gray’s books.
Another stunningly good read from Lisa, loads of laughter and sheesh I wanna kick her butt moments. Gotta love the Carters and their shenanigans, and as always Max was in fair form.
It's done... Max is a man-bride. LOL This is an epic work, an antidote to our depressing reality. A must read, it makes you feel alive as you read through this book. Mark is a mix of Max and Maverick, my favorite after Aiden and Maddox.
Beautifully funny! It's what I expect from this talented author. The character have so much depth and hilarious. They show each other so much love, through good times and bad.
Loved this book just like the rest of them, made me laugh loads can't wait for more and can't wait for the new families books to come out.5* all the way.
