This book is phenomenal. A collection of poems and short stories that just hit you deep down in your soul. His words are beautiful and I just can never describe how much I admire his talent!

Beau Taplin is not ordinary writer. "The Wild Heart" is one of the best book I have ever read and I'll definitely read it again. I was inspired and broken at the same time. Beautiful words. Very well written.

This was one of the most beautiful and sad books I've read. I loved the sheer simplicity and honestly that exuded from every piece.

I will be living with this book for the rest of my life! On my nightstand, dog-eared, marked up, picked up over and over again. Seriously, I now must read everything this guy has written! And I don't normally click with poetry at all, so no one is more surprised about this than I. He just nails what it is like to live among the ashes of lost love. So many nuances captured in both prose and poetry, brilliant imagery - just can't say enough good things. You have to order on his website and 3 of the 4 books are currently sold out. Hot ticket. Read this if you've ever been broken hearted, and who hasn't, I am sure you will find something here that resonates deeply.

I enjoyed some of the poems in this book a lot, but overall it gave me the feeling that it was a little unfinished.

This book is stunning. Amazing words that make your eyes widen and jaw drop. I feel a bit disappointed because a lot of the concepts used are not new ideas - many metaphors and notions in the poems are commonly heard, but the way they are integrated into amazing poems makes up for it. I wish the author would invent new concepts to use in his poems, and if he did, he would write the most amazing book.

This poetry book was given to me by a friend and over the last couple days while I've been reading this, I've sent her tons of messages screaming about how beautiful these poems are. I marked my favourite poems with a pink post-it, and nearly the entire book is now pink.

Seriously. Go order this poetry book. You won't regret it, I promise.

So beautifully Beau captures the essence of the different kinds of feelings the different loves leave us with.
Ah the sweetest sting - c'est la vie. <3

It is so rare that a young author can say so much in just a few lines. Not sense Kahlil Gibran have I seen such talent in incite of human nature. No matter your mood, you will find something in his work to match it and give understanding to it.

Beau Taplin writes the kind of poetry that lodges in your bones and stays there.

This was a good collection of poems. I remember enjoying this in high school so I gave it a re-read and enjoyed it the second time round too!

I'm so glad I finally got my hands on one of Beau's books. His writing is absolutely incredible. There was a few times where I felt like I couldn't connect with some pieces, perhaps because of beau being a male writer and then using the pronoun she instead of he, or maybe it's just the state I'm in in my life right now. However, every few pages there would be something where I would just be like WOW. All the love, can't wait to read the other book I bought!

Very strong yet straight forward enough to be understood at least to the extent of one’s personal experiences. Loved it.
