A truly amazing book about daring to be yourself, even if that breaks with every norm in society. This is a book about Claes who comes out as a transvestite, as Sara. About his journey, written as conversations on a train journey. But it is mostly about love, about embracing who you are and who your partner is, and about rethinking your own programming and prejudices. Highly recommended.

Jag såg Sara Lund föreläsa på jobbet och boken är en förlängning av den föreläsningen. Den innehåller många kloka tankar och reflektioner och fördelen med boken som form är att man själv hinner reflektera över ämnet på ett annat sätt än under föreläsningen. Jag hade initialt lite svårt med formatet den är skriven på och tyvärr är den inte lika rolig som föreläsningen.

Read in Swedish.
An important message. An interesting life story. Sometimes there are glimpses of deeper knowledge on the subject that would have been interesting to hear more about. What I didn't like was the way this book was written, I thought the "internal dialogue"-style was tiresome. The book also contains some repetition and could have been shorter.
