"The Combination of Reality and Fiction gives you the perfect Illusion. - Moha Maya"

What makes us tick? Why do we do what we do?
Is it 'Despair' which causes a man in a black bow tie to expose the shallow nature of society in a funeral? Is it 'Betrayal' that causes Rohini to look for ways to fill the void? Is it 'Obsession' that makes an author seek her 'Bestseller' in controversial ways or is it 'Frustration' that makes Anika seek freedom for her mom from her patriarchal family?

The book explores many such emotions through different characters that lead them through different paths, causing a chain of reactions full of twists and turns, setting this psychological thriller in motion. Despair, Vengeance, Frustration, Pain, Love, Sadness, Loss, Manipulation, Rage and Perception. Attributes that plunge the characters of the story in motion, slowly entangling them into a state of illusion. The Illusion is broken when the stories converge.

Expecting a happy ending? The stories don't even end when you think they do.

I just finished *Moha Maya* by Anugya A. Sinha and Sooraj C. Mukundan, and it’s a psychological thriller that left my mind spinning! This book dives deep into what drives us, using a web of characters whose raw emotions—despair, betrayal, obsession, frustration—spark a chain of unpredictable events. The tagline, “The Combination of Reality and Fiction gives you the perfect Illusion,” perfectly captures the story’s gripping blend of truth and deception.

Each character’s journey feels like a puzzle piece. From a man exposing society’s shallowness at a funeral to Rohini grappling with betrayal, or Anika fighting to free her mom from a patriarchal trap, their stories are vivid and intense. The authors masterfully show how emotions like rage, love, and manipulation tangle their lives, pulling them into an illusion that unravels when their paths collide. The writing is sharp, with twists that kept me guessing and a pace that never let up.

What I loved most is how *Moha Maya* doesn’t just entertain—it makes you think. It challenges you to question why people act the way they do and how perceptions shape reality. The characters are flawed and real, making their choices hit hard. And don’t expect a neat, happy ending—the stories linger, defying closure in a way that feels bold and haunting.

This book is a must-read for fans of psychological thrillers who crave depth and complexity. It’s like a maze of human emotions, beautifully crafted and full of surprises. *Moha Maya* hooked me from start to finish, and I’m still thinking about its illusions days later. If you love stories that mess with your head and heart, grab this one!
