Gripping, emotional, and packed with intensity. I'm both eager and unsure if I want to read the next book 😅

Riveting and fast moving. Hard to put down. A must read to understand the effects of the Berlin Wall on ordinary lives.

Completely beneath author's ability
Thankful this was borrowed through Kindle unlimited. Had I paid I'd be upset. Whiny, self pity, lack of originality, no imagination. Book 1 was the best of the series. Book 2 was not up to par but it at least gave us new characters and possibilities. The main character lacks motivation. She is an orphaned kid that knows the streets but has no street smarts. No follow through. Extreme waste of time. About three quarters of the way through there is a chapter that should have just been the entirety of the book.
