I appreciated the way Jen dives deep into the lives of each character, it helped me understand them more as people and not just a story. I did learn to think about Genesis in a deeper way and did see Christ reflected through it. This study was very homework heavy, and didn’t feel as Spirit-led or encouraging as I was hoping. I don’t think the way the study was designed is for me, but I tried to push past it to see God in a new way. I’m still thankful for Genesis and the Word of God, though! Just wouldn’t study it like this again.
