THEIR FATE RESTS IN HER HANDS.
I escaped The Program once. Now I must do it again.
The stakes are higher. Nothing is as it seems. My world came crashing down around me, and now it's time for me to fight for the people I love. But will they still love me after learning the truth?
Nova Academy has been taken over by The Program, and The Program has its claws deeper into the Intergalactic Union than I could have ever imagined. Moreover, their experiments have taken an even darker turn. But unbeknownst to them, they've turned me into an even bigger monster hell-bent on destroying them.
Can I keep the people I love safe while trying to stop the monsters from my childhood?
This is book 2 in a Why Choose sci-fi romance series where the FMC does not have to choose between her love interests. This series will get darker and spicier with each book while the FMC slowly builds her harem.
I am a British author and write in British English, so there may be some spelling differences from American English.
Look. I don't normally do written reviews.. but lord, am I upset 😡 I devoured this book and the previous book. While they have some small errors (and in this one, the author does need to make sure that all of the text is the same size ^..^'), they're actually fairly well written. What I am exceptionally mad about is that cliffhanger. The third book isn't out yet... 😡😡😡😡😡😡
This one got darker which I normally would love, but it was not my style of dark. I try to avoid books where there are pregnancies in it, especially if they are forced. The first half felt slow, but picked up again in the second half. Man does this author know how to leave cliffhangers!
Loved the second book! This book focused more on Artemis and her relationship with Libby and explained what Libby dealt with when Artemis escaped in the first book. It also shows more of the enhancements that she was given and how Special she is. 10 out of 10.
This series is sort of interesting, but it is slow paced. I am not even sure how I feel about all the characters. Several of them are annoying. I do not believe I will continue to the next book.
