Planning parties for billionaires? Easy.
Planning to fall for one? That wasn't in my schedule.

Dean Brock is more arrogant than any other man I’ve met before.
Sure, he's got that billion-dollar swagger…
But his ego's bigger than his bank account.

Too bad he’s got the body to back it up.

Single moms don’t have time for those kinds of distractions.
So it’s just my luck when he hires me.

And I’m forced to work with this fine jerk.

I've handled demanding clients before.

But Dean Brock is something else entirely...

Now his investigations are getting personal,
And I'm the mystery he wants to solve.

I plan every detail of other people's dreams...
But this billionaire just rewrote all of mine.

Get It, Queen is a delightful romance novel that had me hooked from the start. The chemistry between Diane and Dean is undeniable, and their banter is both witty and charming.

I truly enjoyed the setting of Breezy Point. It's a picturesque island that provides the perfect backdrop for this love story. The author did a great job of creating a vibrant and engaging world.

The novel is fun and entertaining read. The characters are easy to root for. Diane's determination and Dean's slow-burn romance are both refreshing and satisfying.

If you're looking for a light and fluffy romance with a touch of heat, I highly recommend Get It, Queen. It's the perfect escape for a lazy afternoon.

Really It’s a Zero Rating

I’m not sure what this was, but it definitely wasn’t a romance novel. I’ve read a few of Twyla’s books in the hope that she would grasp the essence of romance, but unfortunately, she misses the mark every time. My suggestion would be to take a writing class or study under a writing expert. There are several fantastic authors to draw inspiration from, such as Tiffany Patterson, SK Lesley and Theodore Taylor—true masters of the craft. I recommend reading their works and learning from their approach. Sadly, this book was disappointing; it had little to do with romance and felt like a jumble of words that didn’t come together coherently. It’s one of the most confusing and nonsensical reads I’ve encountered.

Dean is a billionaire with swagger and rubs Diane the wrong way on their first encounter, but he learns that she the party planner on the island he has no choice but to go through her to plan his welcoming to the island. It starts them along their path, and it is one that is filled with incredible twists and turns that had me on the edge of my seat as I cheered for these two to get their chance for happiness.

Breezy Point comes across as a very charming community. I like Diane and Dean, they are opposites attract on a few levels. Diane is definitely a go-getter, both hard workers dedicated to their careers. Enjoyed the intensity and romantic elements. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Sweet but repetitive

The story had a good basis but was extremely repetitive like it was based on a word count instead of content. For a spy catcher, the MMC and his team were completely inept. The few love scenes were dry and entirely male focused.

Happy ever after

Dean and Diane had undeniable chemistry from the start. Diane tried hard to hide her feelings. Dean struggled with hiding his feelings. Once they realized what they shared, the two never looked back. Great short read 😊
