Excerpt- Angelique walks out of her room, smiling. She walks down the hallway towards the stairway. Hmm, I can’t wait to get a steak for dinner. I’m starving. I don’t think I can take a run here in this city. I’ll look for Brandon after dinner, she thinks. She stops at the door to the stairway to open her purse. She drops her room key into the side pocket. Lightning opens the door and walks into the hallway running into Angelique. “Oh!” squeals Angelique surprise, inhaling deeply. Quickly she grasps his arms to avoid falling. She gazes up into Lightning’s beautiful green eyes with the gold specks. “Sweetheart,” growls Lightning, inhaling her sweet spicy scent. His body instantly pulsates to life. His cock grows thick and hard. He quickly takes hold of her from the waist to stop her fall. He holds her closer as time slips by. He leans close into her neck to sniff her scent, gazing into her eyes as he gets closer. She blinks several times, registering a very important fact. Omg! This is Brandon Davis and he’s my mate. Oh wow, I hope he can’t read me. I have to read him. Wow, he’s my mate and I can’t think straight. I’ll read him later because my body is aching for him. I need him to love me. I reacted to her before I even smelled her scent. Now I understand Thunder’s reaction yesterday. This is painful. Hell! I can’t wait to love her, transmits Lightning. He’s not aware that he’s transmitting. Angelique eyes widen. Delighted, she grins up into his beautiful face. Wow, I can hear you. This is amazing and unreal. Yes, yes! You’re my mate. I want some. I absolutely loved this story! She did a fantastic job with this book. I am glad how things turned out. I still love the fact that she gives you what all the characters are thinking. You also get to see how the characters grow and the plot thickens from a different perspective. I love how he located Angelique. I can't wait to continue to read more stories. I had a hard time putting this book down. I love the action and how fast paced it is. I also enjoy that it works out for the two. By being able to know their thoughts only helps you to understand the characters. By understanding them you are able to feel what they feel. You understand their emotions and hope that it works out. Its just amazing how you get to see all the characters play out.

I enjoyed Angelique and Lighning's story, however, I definitely feel like I was missing some important details. I believe it was due to not reading them in order. This was my third book in the Razer 8 series, so I would highly recommend they be read in order.

I love Lightning. He is strong and sweet. He is the type of guy you want to be your mate. He is a wolf shifter, a Delta Force Opt. and a doctor. He is in the middle of a mission when he finally finds his mate. Angelique is also a doctor and very focused on her career. She is also a wolf shifter. Her pack Alpha calls her in to get some information from Brandon Davis. She does not want to but her father's life is at stake. Little did she know that Brandon and Lightning are one in the same and her mate. This is a great love story with lots of twists and turns. I love this series!! P T always gives us great characters that you just cannot help but fall in love with.

Another great read in the Razer 8 series. I like the way PT Macias has a book for each member of the team as you learn what special ability they bring to the unit. The characters interact well and are very well detailed. Brandon and Angelique have an intense sexual attraction that adds another layer to the story. Loved it and can't wait to read more.

Interesting Story But Falls Flat

I purchased the book because it had an interesting story line. I like stories that combine romance, action, the paranormal and humor. The story falls flat the further I read. I've read novels where the love scenes practically set the book on fire. Here the love scene seems forced and the story dragged even more. I want my time back.
