I enjoyed this set of 12 sexy hot (short & sweet) stories. It has some naughty & nice fantasies to delight the senses. Which I got a good kick out of. And it included a little good humor that gave me a couple of giggles. BTW (about the 'fair warning from the author'), I promise that I won't tell anyone that Violet Reigns has a (much) softer side, even though it's only for just this one set 😜 - softer can be good too.

All Good Here
Ok, so firstly, I was shocked to find out Violet Reigns authored this book. Until now her books have been in a very specific and different genre. She is such a great writer I have always hoped she would try something new. And now she has.
These stories are hot as hell. Written of course with her distinctive style. Plots that draw you in and sex scenes with vivid imagery and detail.
I’m fairly sure you will enjoy all twelve stories but at least four of them are just plain great.
And Violet, please bring us more like this.

Smart, sexy, creative and different!
I’m thrilled Violet has chosen to republish this outstanding collection under her own name. It deserves it, even though these stories aren’t what we normally get from her. And it gives me a chance to write a more thoughtful review.
The highlight of the book is the creativity and variety in the storytelling. No two stories are similar, except in the sense that they’re erotic. Short story collections often suffer from same-same stories, but you don’t get that here at all. It’s superbly written, entertaining and some stories will give you something to think about... to go along with the other reason we read these kinds of books.
Here’s a rundown of what to expect.
Starting with the last story first, A Dozen Red Roses is possibly one of the best stories to come from Violet’s pen. It’s a story about what happens when a bunch of roses is sent to the wrong person on Valentine’s Day. To say anything more would be spoilers, but it’s worth the price of the book alone.
Staying Power is a riff on ‘the pizza delivery guy gets lucky’ story, only this one has three twenty-something cougars in it. It’s very raunchy, as each of the girls has a special talent.
Dare Law is about two friends who haven’t quite become lovers. They challenge each other to some very risque dares. It’s sweet, sexy and funny. Guys, don’t ask your girlfriend if she fakes her orgasms.
Mary Go Round initially reads as a very predictable menage story. It’s very decadent and comes with an unexpected twist. No spoilers.
Date Night is the naughtiest story in the book, with a much more typical Violet Reigns heroine. As always, you can’t help but like her for being so naughty.
The Most Intimate Kiss is very sensual, about a couple revealing their fantasies and then playing them out. God, I wanted to be Wendy!
Breakup Sex is a hoot! As well as being hot! Poppy introduces her friend Damien to the idea he should have sex with his girlfriends when they break up and demonstrates how it’s done.
Meeting Mindy is a lovely story about fantasy and reality colliding, when a shy guy meets the girl of his dreams and discovers she isn’t how he imagined.
Secrets of Lasting Relationships shows us Violet is brewing up for a hotwife book (she has one in the works because she said so in her blog). Three friends get together and reveal the secrets of their sex lives. Subtle tension and leaves you thinking about the nature of long-term relationships.
Photographs is the story for all the people who feel like nice guys come last. It’s super sweet and sexy, with plenty of feel good vibes.
Reunion is the original version of the story that became White Widow in Shelled Nuts. This is the nice version, but it still has a dark, gritty edge. If you’ve read White Widow, this is like a sliding doors version.
Finally, Say You Will deals with the difficult subject of a couple struggling to conceive, and focuses on how the wife chooses to deal with it. The ending gives you plenty to think about.

Great selection of sexy stories..didn't find one I didn't like altho' obviously, some were worth 5stars or more. Red Hot? Most definitely, well done Violet, what a wonderful collection you've put out there..

As many of my friends know, reading is one of my favorite hobbies but more than that, it’s become part of my very being. As a bibliophile, I have my own favorite authors that bring me joy! Violet Reigns is one of my all time favorite authors as she’s able to take you to an erotic place and just edge you with word after word of pleasure. With this compilation, she has written, in my opinion, her greatest work. Each story has its own personal flare, and every character felt real to me. Yes this is erotic fiction, and she has this incredible ability to write characters you’d want to either fuck or be fucked by! It’s a gift, don’t laugh! 😘
Of the 12 stories, I have three favorites! My first fav is “Mary Go Round”, where the title character gets thick meaty cocks in each of her wanton holes. Ultimately there is an epic creampie from each guy, the last guy being longer and thicker than the previous men, their combined sperm deposits serving as lube for his meat pole. As he pounds her sex into a creamy froth he spurts his nut into her cunt, which after nine months..well read it for yourself! It’s hot!
My second fav is “Meeting Mindy”. Oh god I love her! The male character has a serious crush on her and he listens to her podcast, only to find out he meets her in real life! I found this so epic because many of the books I read I listen to from audible, Libby, or I have my phone read to me (don’t judge) and I gravitate to a female narrator, especially while listening to taboo. I also listen to ASMR when I read (I have no idea why, it just works for me). As I read this I was thinking how lovely it would be for Violet Reigns to be the narrator of her own works!?!? That would be so hot!
Last but certainly not least on my fav list was “Photographs”. I thought I wasn’t going to like it because I felt so bad for the guy and the girl seemed a bit bratty BUT, aaaww, this was so sweet and romantic! It was so good!! She could have just ended the story but we get a toe curling blowjob that isn’t “slutty” but loving. Everyone knows the difference. It was just bliss personified.
Anyways, this book was a joy to read! Excellent work from a wonderful author!

An excellent collection of 12 very different stories. I haven’t read Miss Violet previously, so this is a new author for me (or is it a new genre for the author?). In any event, fun reads.
I’m not a short story guy. I always want to know more and leave short stories feeling something is missing. Every one of these stories has interesting characters and fun adventures. Definitely worth the read, particularly those who really like gritty tales.
And for those who are fans of Violet Reigns, sorry, no one looses their privates, which is a happy place for us guys 😉

This is a change of pace for author Violet Reigns, not her usual fare where men need to be deeply concerned for their most important belongings... And frankly, stories about that are not my typical interest. However, he books are always very well written and definitely worth the read, even when they can make you a bit uncomfortable.
This book of 12 short stories on the other hand does not stray in that direction. Each story is very different but definitely hot, sexy and fun (just try A Dozen Red Roses and you will see what I mean). I try not to give spoilers in my reviews so I won't here. But if you enjoy well thought out tales that are written, it would be hard to go wrong reading these.

Quite a surprise from Violet given her “normal” works. This is actually filled with several very romantic, extremely sweet, pleasant stories with HEA endings. Loved it, and most of them. Don’t know if there are others of hers like this but I’d love to read those too. I know she has other “interests” but she’s actually quite a flair for romance too. Well done, Violet.
