A dangerously sexy, addictive, enemies-to-lovers vampire romance. Three shattered hearts should have been enough destruction for the royal vampire bastard who bit me.
But the intrigues and excesses of the supernatural know no bounds.
I’ll do anything to escape this world of political scheming, blood-soaked rituals, depraved games, and deadly seductions.
Anything to avoid the haunted, hostile gaze of the immortal who swore he loved me.
The problem is, this royal world is run on secrets and lies, and no one escapes the games vampires play.
Not alive. Not whole.
To gain my freedom — and save what’s left of my aching heart — I’ll have to keep my secrets close, and play the game better than any of them …

Corrupt and diabolical royals, a royal and often homicidal husband whom mostly lives in denial, and so many secrets and plots from all directions. What's a wife to do and just who can she really trust? Fair warning, there are no candy canes and fluffy unicorns here. Turn back if if you are a feint hearted reader that has trigger issues. That being said, I LOVE THIS SERIES and look forward to the next book that I have already preordered. Big thumbs up to the imagination and writing skills of this author!
I read all three books in this series in a matter of days, and this review is a culmination of the series. The premise was different, a vampire “The Bachelor,” with women from around the world competing to become his bride. There were a few things that bothered me, the portrayal of different nationalities as “flavors” along with other stereotypes. However, that, combined with the intrigue, betrayal, and subplots going on in the background just got to be too much. At first, when there were only one or two things going on it was interesting and I was eager to find out how it would all work out. Then, other layers were added on, the Royal vampires and all their plots and manipulations, the Free Men, a subversive group out to take down the vampires, the MMC’s mother’s myriad plots, the double-cross by the 1/2 brother and truly heinous actions he forced on the FMC, the 1/2 sisters, and the MMC’s tendency to go off half-cocked, all of it got to be too much. I feel like the story would have been much more focused if some of that had been left out. Other than trying to keep all that straight, the real disappointment was the MMC kept losing his temper and believing the worst about the FMC, and treating her extremely badly, time after time. Just when he’s proven wrong about his perceptions and how off-base he’s been about the FMC, and he’s bemoaning his treatment of her, something happens again and he continues acting the same. He doesn’t begin to change until well into the third book. When the change does come and he’s finally supporting the FMC, and admitting he’s all in with his love, he does very little to atone for past behavior other than offer to give up his title so they can live a “normal” life away from the Royal vampire court and the intrigue. The relationship between the MMC and FMC was toxic, and I can take that as long as real change and growth of both characters into something better is demonstrated. Unfortunately, I wasn’t convinced of that by the end. What started out so promising in the first, and much of the second book, didn’t really pan out for me. I left a four star rating for the first and second book, but the ending was far from satisfying for me.
Third and final book but gonna review the whole series.
This is sooooo trashy but soooo good. It's like over the top soap drama but with fangs. The amount of people killed over the course of 3 books is pushing 100!!
The amount of manipulators multiply by each book.
There is no clear villain because there all bad. (Bar FMC best friend)
Falcon book 1 is ruthless deadly bachelor but there is something about him that your rooting for him. Falcon book 2 is a hard headed, stubborn bastard. Falcon book 3 is on a redemption arc but I am looking at him sideways all the time.
Angelina Book 1 is the reluctant competitor, who's fiery nature warms ours cold blooded vampire heart Book 2 she is put through hell and back Book 3 she puts her babies first and then makes Falcon earn her back ( she should of made home kiss her feet everyday)
falcon mum....... has issues and is obsessed with her son
viper his brother is deranged evil animal /child killer.
jaguar.......my poor love, the only decent vampire out of them all. My heart hurts for him.
There are so many other characters in this book and plot lines that it can be convoluted but it's absolutely over the top, dramatic, trash and I gobbled it up 3 books in 5 days.
This series has been entertaining. I finished reading Book 2 in less than 24 hrs and stayed up reading until 4am.
Falcon and Angie's story has taken me out of my reading slump where I struggle to finish a book as I lose interest once the couple get together. I guess, it starts to become repetitive after a while.
This series has so many twists and revelations that it made the storyline interesting.
I hope in the final book with Jaguar as the main lead, he gets the closure he deserves. I love his character and wouldn't have minded a threesome trope with Angie and Falcon 🤣🤣🤣
overall i really enjoyed this, but it was infuriating as all get-out. falcon is such an idiot i actually sort of hate that he gets his HEA, but at the same time i cant stop loving it too. dumb. & i'm so mad we didnt get to revel in Viper's death, however the tactic to skip months in advance & just have character dialogs give you a rundown of what's been happening does makes it so that a lot of things can happen in a short amount of time without feeling too squished.
This is a solid conclusion to the VBG Falcon trilogy. The story is good - lots of plotting and intrigue, danger. Not as much romance as I would have liked. A fun dark take on reality tv and vampires. I'll be happy to read more from this author.
Angie doesn't want anything to do with this world, but the vampire is too stupid to wonder why. It couldn't have been anything he's done or allowed to happen. Such a POS being butthurt that a woman who was raped isn't happy due to your own actions.
I did really enjoy these books but book 3 left me a little flat. The ending felt rushed and I felt like there could have been more. In my opinion this book kinda let 1&2 down. Simply because it became predictable towards the end.
I almost DNF this book. It’s rushed, and the plot points where it shouldn’t be rushed were always so drawn out. The ending was well done but dear god, I was so close to DNF this series.
