I love the Lords of the Underworld series. The lords are the keepers of demons released from Pandora's box. They start off with not having any sort of happiness or love in their life. Each book tells the story of a different lord.
I really enjoyed these book but I would suggest reading them a little apart as they can get a little repetitive and predictable when read side by side. A good read all in all though
My favorite This is one of the best paranormal romance series I have ever read. The characters are so intense and hot! But the storyline is what really has me reading them again and again. It is so original and gripping.
This is a great series. Definitely rated R, but quirky and fun.
Here's a general overview: Way back in Ancient Greece, Pandora opened a box. All the demons of human nature (such as distrust, doubt, pain, death, secrets, lies, promiscuity, etc.) escaped. As punishment for opening the box Pandora and several other of Zeus' guards (known collectively as the Lords of the Underworld) were forced to carry the demons within them. The Lords are altered by their demons, gaining powers and weaknesses according to the demon they house. If the demon's needs are not appeased, the host and those around them suffer.
Each book tells the story of one Lord and some are better than others. While they technically stand alone, they should definitely be read in order, as there is an over-arching storyline that runs throughout.
I started reading these books in high school, stopped reading (in general) for quite a few years and once I picked back up into reading it was the first series I got back into. I wanted to DNF but pulled through. The plot completely changed and was VERY disappointing towards the end of the series, I always expected it to have gone farther and it just didn’t live up to what I expected of the author.
