His Christmas Virgin
Carson is a wealthy hotelier and is currently working on his latest resort in Hawaii. He invites his best friend to come stay for the opening and he can't make it. However, his sister Holly just got laid off, so he suggested she go in his place. When she arrives and goes to see Carson nothing goes as planned. This has her sticking to herself, but she makes friends with the staff around the resort. One friend has an idea to get Carson to act on his feelings and starts helping Holly. Carson can't stand seeing Holly with other men and this has him make his move on her. Will they finally admit to what they want? Or will things end before they get a chance?

His Christmas Kid
Liv works at a tv station and really wants to be a producer, but she hasn't worked her way up yet. Trevor is a famous news anchor and has some to work at their station. Sparks fly between them as liv works as his assistant. Its not long before things heat up between them. However, when he introduces her to his son he wonders if Liv is what they need. Will she take a chance with him?

The above great stories are two of what ius included in the great collection. This is a well written and very entertaining collection. Its a collection that any book lover would enjoy.

The story started off well, I was interested and the flow of the book was good, I loved the friendship between Holly and Alani. But I felt the ending of the book was rushed, Holly forgave Carson within a couple of paragraphs and I don’t feel that Carson did enough to deserve that forgiveness other than say he loved her. I mean it’s possible but I feel that Holly’s character started out as strong and independent and ended up snivelling after the boy. (Maybe this is just me but I just didn’t vibe with how quickly this happened)

I’m currently 1/3 of the way into this one, interesting story line, but I feel like Liv’s characteristics have changed multiple times throughout the story, is the timeline passing by quickly or slowly, still trying to work this out… but she’s gone from not interested, kinda cute, I’m falling for him to having segs and now shes meeting his son. I’m struggling with this one right now. It just feels unrealistic, as a single mum I’m really not connecting with how quickly this is all happening. I will report back once I’ve completed the book.

This is a boxed set with four complete novels. I'll review the second one, His Christmas Kid. Trevor is a handsome news anchor who recently moved to a NYC station from Dallas, Texas. With him is his three-year-old son, his only family since his wife died in a car wreck two years ago. He has been drowning his sorrows by using women who flock to him. In the big city, he has hired a middle-aged woman Suzanne as his son's nanny. Liv, an intern at the station, has been assigned as his assistant until he knows his way around the station and the city. She expects him to be a diva and an a$$hole and hates her duties when she knows she is ready to be at least assistant producer if not producer! She is pleasantly surprised that he turns out to be a down-to-earth good man. They deal with many troubles both at the newsroom and at home and lastly an offer for the promotion Liv was waiting for to the state of California! Will they reach a happy ending together?

So far I’ve finished the first book and the story was good, 3.5 star worthy, but I cannot get past all errors!

I highlighted a few, but there’s so many small editing and continuity errors. One even referred to the MMC as “she”. Also, the FMC is named Holly but her brother refers to her as Molls. Wouldn’t he do that if her name was Molly, not Holly? Seems like something of The Office where find and replace didn’t work…

His Christmas Kid, His Christmas Girlfriend and His Christmas Santa. Cute story lines and likable characters. All have a Christmas theme just in time to get you in the holiday spirit. . I read this box set as a free advance copy via Bad Boy Updates and voluntarily chose to review it. There were some editing issues in the advance copy that I am sure will be corrected in the final edition.

Ayla Long did a great job on this series, the characters and plots were written well, the couples journeys had their rough paths but it made them stronger, just like their connection, the chemistry was sexy and sweet, they were good together. I enjoyed these stories.

Poor editing

Difficult to read due to poor editing for grammar & spelling. Had to keep rereading to make sense of what I was reading.
