2.5⭐️ Lo he encontrado bastante por debajo a los otros libros de la serie.
La línea que sigue es similar, pero con un protagonista mucho menos grumpy de lo que promete, menos dominante de lo que estamos acostumbradas y menos BDSM.
Aunque Blake es otro multimillonario atormentado, no ha habido tensión.
La relación con Bruce y Alexander tampoco aporta mucho cuando en otros libros siempre me han parecido interesantes los apoyos del mmc.

El plot que viene hacia el final, como en los libros anteriores, de lo más forzado.

This is Blake and Harper’s story. This all starts with a dog who knocks into Blake and eats his breakfast and spills his coffee. Blake is grumpy from the start and Harper is like a ray of sunshine! She’s all over the place and doing multiple jobs to make ends meet. Blake hires her to repay the damages and fires her the same day! But there is a twist – he announces to his father that she is his fiancée and comes up with a contract to be engaged until the Christmas party. Once that is over they will go their separate ways and she will be able to pay off her debts.

What seems like a piece of cake turns into more when both Blake and Harper get feelings and Blake notices some visible changes in his demeanor. Blake never imagined he could have anything like this. Can this fake relationship be the real deal, or will Blake mess this up as well?.

★ "Life isn't a fairy tale, Harper,…” ★

…”It's a series of calculated moves and negotiations." I can absolutely see this relationship happening in real life. Cynical meets hapless when Blake and Harper collide outside his building, Norton Enterprises, in an unconventional manner. With a father to prove himself to, or else he will lose everything he has worked so hard for in his professional life, he needed this very woman to fill the shoes to sell his act. HIs carefully ordered life is sent askew in constant chaos with Harper participating in the charade, which somehow becomes very real when he realizes he needs her for far, far more than just her contract.

Blake's and Harper's first run in set the stage for one thrilling adventure with these two. When a dog jumps him and takes his sandwich causing him to spill his coffee, he had no idea that the connection between him and Harper would end with him hiring then firing her to only make her his fake fiancé. What he didn't expect was for his time with Harper to blossom into something he never thought that he would experience. Will their fake relationship lead them to the real deal and a happily ever after.

This is book 10 in Stone's The Billionaires of New York series and another great addition to the series that can be read as a standalone. Well written and captivating. Our main characters are Blake and Harper. I enjoyed their banter and their chemistry. This book is both sweet and steamy and I loved the added humor. A great romance read!

Grumpy Boss is Book 10 of The Billionaires of New York Series by Lana Stone.
I really enjoyed reading it. Harper and Blake's story is well written, with suspense, drama and spice. This book will give you everything you want in a good romance book.

Blakes und Harpers erster Auftritt bereitete die Bühne für ein spannendes Abenteuer mit den beiden. Als ein Hund ihn anspringt und sein Sandwich nimmt, was dazu führt, dass er seinen Kaffee verschüttet, hat er keine Ahnung, dass die Verbindung zwischen ihm und Harper damit enden würde, dass er sie einstellt und dann feuert, um sie nur zu seiner falschen Verlobten zu machen. Womit er nicht gerechnet hatte, war, dass sich seine Zeit mit Harper zu etwas entwickeln würde, von dem er nie gedacht hätte, dass er es einmal erleben würde. Wird ihre falsche Beziehung sie zum echten Geschäft und zu einem Happy End führen?
