Another great one

If you’ve made it this far, this installment would be enjoyable to you. There are some minor typos, but not bothersome. Have fun, think that’s enough said.

best one yet

I read a lot thanks to Kindle Unlimited. Unfortunately it means that if there is any substantial time between releases, I forget little details and what have you. Boy do I love when an author leaves us with a summary of events at the start. Thank you.

This book kicks off right where the cliffhanger left us at the end of book 5. This book largely follows that winning formula and ends on a similar big reveal which I guess reveals the adage if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Hump grows, stays true to his code, finds out some things about his past, fumbles through love while the world around him burns. Old enemies and new terrors make Hump and his motley crew scheme for the salvation of their world as they know it. It’s well done, and any maguffin mentioned in Act I will have its day by Act IV. In this genre it is so incredibly rare to get to see the magical item the protagonist found again, but Maher never failed on this front.

I waited all year for this one, and I’m bummed I have to wait for more. I love this series.

GREAT BOOK!

I’ve loved this whole series and the latest installment is great. The battles are interesting, there is a lot of great character development and maybe even a few shinies in there too.

There’s a few small editing errors, but the book is amazing. The magic systems keep getting more interesting- can’t wait to see if more magic systems pop up based on different principles!

Well written progression series

I waited about 6 months for this book after reading the others in the series this year. It was well worth the wait and I'm excited for the next in the series as well.

The books are well written AND unlike many LitRPG offerings I did not have to correct hundreds of typos or deal with logic deficiencies. Definitely one of the better fantasy series on Kindle Unlimited.

Good pacing, interesting and developing characters and good story depth all make for a good book, and this one delivered for me. The MC is growing in power, but still far from the level needed to easily defeat his enemies. He manages this (mostly) but it's a team effort. His most powerful magic takes time, so he needs a team. This one ends in an interesting place, not really a cliffhanger, so I look forward to the next book.

The author cant end it like that!!!!! Curses it was awesome and then.... a cliff hanger and now I have to anxiously wait for the next book. If ot weren't for the fact that it was a great book id be mad. Here is the cruel part. It was a great book and it ended! What the hell. Write fast you bastard

Excellent

Lately I've been disappointed with books as the series got longer. Series that started strongly and later became sadness and regret. Not so this series, even though the characters are getting stronger the story remains strong, the villains interesting, and the action exciting. Tom out

Classic D&D campaign

Lit rpg storytelling done well, the characters grow and the little rpg elements are in the background not overwhelming the story. I am eagerly awaiting the next installment.

Good entry in the series but needs proofreading

Good book as ever but suffering from quite a lot of incorrect word choices. Badly needs some proofreading.

Otherwise, good stuff.
