This is another simply wonderful addition to the series, great writing and fantastic storyline
This is another simply wonderful read by author Felicity Brandon and I guarantee that you will find yourself captivated by this simply wonderful read. Thrust into a wonderful and very mysterious world of William Kyle I guarantee that you will find it impossible to out this book down until you reach the last page and you discover the outcome.
Amy Kendall is drawn to Brock Hall because of her son, she is the nervous tyoe but when it come to him, she will always put any fears on the back burner to discover what is going on. She is in a difficult situation because she is trying desperately to keep her family’s head above water and knows that she can only succeed if she raises money and her only out seems to be vis William Kyle who is by no means a pleasant or easy individual to deal with.
Any however soon discovers that even though she is somewhat afraid she is also intrigued by him, her interests are piqued and she finds herself returning to the hall for more than just the cash…
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.

Kyle is a magnetically dominant man, who has found a way to help Amy release, nurture and grow her own sense of obedience, vulnerability, submission, and hedonism. He helps her to accept her alluring beauty and the power she posses to revel in her burgeoning submission. The interaction between Amy and Sir is enticing, incredible, tantalizing, enthralling, soul-searing, and beautifully erotic.

BUT--- will Amy be interested in Kyle’s past? How has he made some of his money? Will any of his answers cause Amy unease? What will he do if she is upset?

This second book in Ms. Brandon' trilogy, 'The Desperate Binds' is an outstanding example of character study and growth as well as writing that smoothly, subtly, completely draws the reader so deeply into the story and the lives of the characters you're part of it, not merely reading about it.
I found myself totally enthralled by Kyle and Amy's journey to their mutual epiphanies and deeper understanding of themselves and each other.
And while this one included plenty of Ms. Brandon's sensuous scorch and intense er0tic tension it also wonderfully explored and detailed both Kyle and Amy's emotional realizations to beautifully flesh out their characters to keep the reader (certainly THIS one) engaged, intrigued and delighted.
I cannot wait for the conclusion to their story.

I've said it hundreds of times, and I know I'll say it hundreds more, but no one writes a hero I love to hate better than Ms. Brandon. That's what Kyle is. He's dark, twisted, secretive, has ulterior motives, and I'm still wondering how he's going to become the true hero. Amy is mature, dealing with relatable problems, but still so off balance with Kyle. I love how believable and normal she is as a character.

This story has all the twists and holy freak moments that will keep a reader on the edge of their seat. The writing draws you in, paints vivid descriptions, and has you living the story from the beginning. This is the second book, and the series must be read in order. I'm desperate to get my hands on the next one.

Dark and twisted this story keeps you on your toes as Amy learns really intense submission coming from poverty and a,wonderful mom who is very unselfish .
William Kyle has fallen for her and it seems so suspicious, his wealth, attention and help does it come from his heart. He's very dominant and won't be denied, Amy does some degrading things.

There are secrets, truths and surprises. It's addicting and that ending holy wow!!! These two are very hot together but at the back of Amy's mind she has that little bit of doubt, but wants to feel desirable at the same time. It's,a page turner I can't wait for more. What's he up to??

His Dark Hunger by Felicity Brandon is the continuing story of Kyle and Amy. His obsession has deepened and he still hasn’t told her the truth. But, he’s mesmerized by her and can’t let her go…but, isn’t ready to tell her everything yet. This twisted story just gets more twisted and a little stalkerish. But, it’s soooooo absorbing and an excellent read!! The writing is incredible and the characters are well-developed. Ends in a major cliffhanger!

Enjoyed the flashbacks to before Kyle knew Amy.

I think Kyle is surprised by the turn of events.
But, could Amy and Kyle have something that lasts?
Only time will tell.

In the meanwhile, Kyle is getting what he wants and Amy is getting what she needs, maybe even craves!

STEAMY!!! Oh boy.

Seems Amy's gotten herself into a bit of a bind! And might Kyle be a bit unhinged!?
Wow, what a cliffy!!!

Deep, dark and twisted. This series needs to be read in order, though it's possible to pick up a great deal of the backstory if you start here. The female main character explores a flowering of her sexuality totally unaware of the dark undercurrent affecting her choices. Great characters, quite spicy with a cliffhanger ending.

Amy thought she met the man of her dreams. Controlling, yes, but compassionate, kind, and giving, but he held a darkness she didn't encounter until it was too late. I cannot figure out if William Kyle is rotten to the core or if he can be redeemed. I love the way this author keeps you on the hook.

An exciting dark romance that continues the fascinating and compelling journey that William Kyle is taking Amy on. The obsession that William has towards Amy is getting more twisted the further you read. This is a well written tale that does end on a bit of a cliffhanger so I can't wait to read of their continuing encounters. I loved reading it so much. This is my honest opinion
