On the way to a psychic convention in Niagara Falls, Detective Jude Byrne sees a commercial advertising famed daredevil Cannonball Jackson’s latest stunt, going over the falls in a barrel. Jude thinks it would fun to witness the attempt until his husband tells him the day will end in tragedy. From that moment, Jude’s entire focus is on saving Cannonball from himself.
Psychic Copeland Forbes is in Canada to work, but after meeting Cannonball’s wife and young son, can’t help getting involved in the push to save the man’s life. When the angry stuntman refuses to listen to reason, Cope has a vision in which he sees Cannonball’s entire family crash and burn as a result of the stunt gone wrong. The reason for Cannonball’s stubbornness is unfathomable to Cope. The daredevil wants to one up his father, who died trying to survive the falls twenty years ago.
It’s a race against time to convince Cannonball Jackson to choose family over fame. Can Jude and Cope save the daredevil’s life, or will he be the next victim of the ghost falls?
Sick of the slogging rat-race of her 9-5 job, Pandora Pine put pen to paper (literally!) to make her ambition of becoming a romance novelist a reality. She cut her teeth in the dog-eat-dog world of fanfiction, still dreaming of the day when she would be a published author. She lives in Massachusetts with her blabbermouth muse who’ s a fan of middle of the night plot twists.
In her spare time, Pandora fancies herself an amateur nature photographer. She enjoys mucking around in swamps, hiking through the woods and crawling around on her hands and knees in her backyard seeking out the perfect shot. Pandora is a fan of roadside seafood shacks and always thinks Mexican food is a good idea at the time.
Some of Pandora’s favorite things are chocolate, writing longhand with purple pens and handsome men falling in love with each other.
Don't miss Pandora’s seductive new novel coming soon to an e-reader near you.
Let me start by saying 2 things... the proofreading was abysmal, but the story was amazing! And, yes, I did cry... I cried ugly tears... it was just that kind of mojo.
The family trip to Psychicfest at a Niagara Falls hotel brings a change of pace for our favourite Salemverse found family. Cope and Tennyson are there to work, whilst Jude and Ronan tag along to look after their husbands, along with Fitz, their children and Nana Kaye. Instead of solving a spooky mystery, a different kind of challenge altogether presents itself.
Fantastic story with lots of emotion and all the family love and banter we expect from these characters. Can't wait to see what mischief they get caught up in next!
I always enjoy the books with Jude and Cope and of course Ronan and Ten and Kevin are along for the ride with all of the kids. I don't understand the mindset of anyone who wanted to go over Niagara Falls in a barrel and finding out what happened to Cannonball's father when he was killed doing the stunt 20 years before and how it destroyed his family I was really stumped. Knowing that Cope, Everly, and Ten all saw that he will also die and that he won't listen to them I was wondering how the story would play out. I really liked his wife and son and knowing he would sacrifice their happiness even knowing how awful their lives would turn out made me really dislike him. The solution to the problem was not what I expected and I liked the ending. Looking forward to their trip to Florida over the Christmas holiday.
Slightly different to the norm. No one ghost or cold case being chased. The gang are in Niagara Falls for a PsychicFest when they come across Cannonball, who is planning to follow his father over the falls in a barrel. Everly sees that he dies during the fall and the gang try to convince him to cancel the stunt.
What a great story! I am never disappointed when a new book comes out! I know Pandora Pine will knock it out of the park. Can’t wait for their next adventure.
I absolutely love these characters, all of them. The good guys that is. Action packed and explosive fun is just a bit of what you get with this story. I would recommend reading these stories.
Pandora Pine is an automatic buy for me. I have loved every book I have read of hers. This book was as good as any of her other books. The book was action packed and kept me on the edge of my seat. Wonderful story and characters. Recommend reading.
Pandora has done it again. I really enjoyed this book and getting more of Cope, Jude, Wolfie, Lizbet, Ronan, Ten, Everly, Ezra, Kevin & Aurora. This time they’re all headed to Niagara Falls for Psychic Fest. I love the lengths that they all go to try and not only save the daredevil Cannonball Jackson’s life but his families as well. Cannonball is going to go over the Niagara Falls in a barrel, like his father attempted twenty years prior and didn’t survive. He wants to one up his a*sehole of a father and even tries to deny that Cope, Ten and Everly are frauds when they tell him that he doesn’t make it.
It’s all hands on deck to try and stop Cannonball’s stupidity. I liked that they never gave up even when Cannonball was a bit of an a*se, nowhere as bad as his father. His spirit deserved more than a kick from Bertha for being a giant d*ck. I’m looking forward to reading more books from this universe, as well as other books from Pandora. I’m hoping that Greeley is going to be in more stories like I’ve wanted forever. He totally deserves some fantastic luck after everything he’s been through and what he’s had to overcome. I’d definitely recommend this book, series, universe and author to everyone.
