Returning to Midtown Memorial Hospital was never part of my plan.
But now that I’m back in Atlanta, I’m determined to show everyone that I’ve grown. That I’ve changed. That I’m not the same self-absorbed playboy they remember.
So I start with my ex-best friend, Parker Winters, expecting him to be the hardest shell to crack. But I’m wrong. Winning him over is easy compared to the one person who has always seen right through me—his youngest sister.
Caroline Winters is ambitious, fiercely independent, and even more stunning than I remember. She’s also ten years younger, deep in the trenches of medical school, and has no plans to give me a real chance . . . or so she tells herself.
But as a man who gave up his dream surgical fellowship to raise his son on his own, I know better than anyone that both plans and people can change. And sometimes, they change for the better.
Lexie Woods is a registered nurse who writes steamy medical romance novels from the comfort of her air conditioned home in Texas. With approximately 20 failed ADHD hobbies sitting in the graveyard of her attic, her husband is hopeful this might finally stick. When she’s not questioning her friends about their most unhinged fantasies, she can be found floating in her backyard pool with a margarita in hand.
"Caroline Winters is the prize of my life in a game where I'm holding the winning hand."
This was my first read by this author, and I'm so glad I finally picked it up! I've been eyeing their books for a while, and let me tell you, this one did not disappoint. I don't usually dive into medical romance, not because I don't enjoy it, but because it's tough to find a good one. This book pleasantly surprised me! When I first saw the tropes, I thought it would be packed with steamy scenes and all sorts of kinks, but that wasn’t the case. Sure, there are some hot moments and a few kinks, but they’re not overwhelming, which was just right for the story. The themes of found family and friendship shine here. Even though I haven't read the previous books in the series, I felt like I was already part of these characters’ lives.
Weston is a single dad who has recently returned to Midtown Memorial Hospital. He’s a reformed playboy who has done some not-so-great things to his friends in the past, so this book serves as his redemption arc. After having his son, Carter, his perspective on life has completely shifted. His son is now his priority, and he’s ready to leave behind his playboy ways and look for a serious relationship.
"Weston Southerland is my favorite thing to be happy about. He will always be my favorite thing to be happy about."
The only woman he can see himself with for the long haul is Caroline. She’s a medical student juggling the stress of her studies alongside her brother's high expectations. At first, she can’t stand Weston and views him as nothing more than a playboy. But as they spend more time together, she sees that he has changed. When he tells her he’ll wait for her and keeps the porch light on, it turns her head toward the possibility of love.
I loved the way Weston and Caroline’s relationship developed throughout the story. Weston’s unwavering belief that she’s the one and his patience as she processes her feelings made my heart melt. His support and encouragement towards her dreams were truly admirable. I also enjoyed how Caroline was comfortable with him—she could be honest, open, and vulnerable. Seeing her interact with Carter was so sweet! At first, she is a bit awkward and unsure about being a mother figure, but she eventually grows comfortable and can’t help but love him.
This book was a delightful read. The character growth and chemistry between the main characters were fantastic. I loved how they navigated their feelings for each other and their relationships with those around them. The characters from the previous books were amazing too, and I want to check out their stories as well!
"I think my fear of being without you became bigger than my fear of not being what you and Carter need." "You are the only thing we need, princess."
Dr. Attending is nurse approved! As a nurse, I do not dabble in medical romances because to be quite frank with you, they never do the medical field justice. With that being said, the ONLY medical romance that I will ever read comes from my girl Miss Lexie Woods. With Lexie being a nurse herself, these books are guaranteed to be realistic and serve top notch nurse humor.
I first want to say that I am so said to say goodbye to the Midtown Memorial family, but ending with the Weston and Caroline was perfect! If you have read this series, Dr. Attending is different the rest but in the best possible way. Wes gets his redemption and you get to know Caroline on a whole different level and dare I tell Walkie-talkie boo boo to step aside 👀
I truly enjoyed seeing Wes in a different light. Wes is now a single dad and he has reformed his old playboy ways. I loved seeing what he has been through and what made him the character he is now. Because let's face it, we low key couldn't stand him in Dr. Resident, but the Wes he is now is so lovable. He is kind, caring and wants to Caroline's happiness and pleasure above his own, which he would have NEVER done in the previous books. Now Caroline, who knew she was so sassy and bratty! I loved how she challenged Wes and their banter. I also loved how there was always this power control dynamic but at the end of the day our girl is a submissive at heart and she owned it. Speaking of which, let's get into the spice...
Lexie, truly outdid herself with the k!nk/BDSM exploration that was written in this book. I will say, this may be her least spicy book out of the series, but the exploration and the way that Wes pleases Caroline with everything but his eggplant was enough to make you sweat. The sensory deprivation scene will live rent free. These two were so open and vulnerable with each other in very intimate settings and truly fit their personalities. Not to mention, I really loved how Caroline played "Madame" for a hot second.
I am sad to see these characters to go but I am truly grateful for Lexie to give people an inside look into the medical field while also supplying some laughs and sweats! I know she is taking a little bit of a writing break but the way Lexie teased us with Dr. Worth... I need his book!
You should most definitely read this book if you like: - Medical Romance - Doctor x Medical Student - Brother's Ex-Best Friend - Age Gap - Single Dad - Reformed Playboy - He Falls First and HARD - CinnaDom x Black Cat - K!nk Exploration - Found Family
* I would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to Lexie Woods for allowing me the pleasure to read Dr. Attending as an ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts, opinions and review.
Words cannot express how I’m feeling about the Midtown Memorial series coming to a close. These characters, this world, this author has meant so much to me and brought me so many feels throughout the past year that I know my life will never be the same 🩵
Weston Southerland has been the misunderstood bad boy of the Midtown Memorial series. Parker’s former best friend, Cassidy’s ex boyfriend and basically the guy everyone loves to hate. Especially Caroline- Parker’s sister and the girl who Weston ruined a relationship for when they were teenagers. When both Cassidy and Parker decide to mend the fences with the single dad who has a lot on his plate, Caroline is not on the same page. After Parker tricks the two into spending a long road trip together in the company of Weston’s young son, overwhelmed med student Caroline realizes theres much more to Wes than she had anticipated and maybe forgiveness is not so far away.
As Caroline and Weston navigate their attraction and feelings for one another, Caroline also must navigate her own insecurities in becoming a staple in not only Weston’s life, but his son Carter’s as well. Being vulnerable is not something she’s prepared to do but when given the chance of taking a leap of faith or remaining stagnant Caroline must choose.
I absolutely devoured this book. There is something about Lexie’s writing that makes you forget you are even reading and you just feel like you’ve stepped into the hallways of Midtown Memorial. Both Caroline and Weston were such real and raw characters who deserved so much love and had so much to give not only each other but the found family crew that surrounded them. I have never resonated more with a character than I did with Caroline and her struggles really opened my own eyes to the next journey my life might be embarking on.
An absolutely bittersweet end to this family of characters that have become like a family to me. I have so much to say but this instagram caption will allow could never encompass how I feel. Endlessly proud of Lexie and all she has and will continue to accomplish. Proud to know you, proud to love you, proud to be part of your journey
Sadly, this one was just not for me. I didn’t really jive with the writing style or connect with the characters like I was hoping to.
HOWEVER, I think a big reason I didn’t enjoy this like I was anticipating was my fault for not reading the rest of the series first. For that reason, I am not adding a star rating. Don’t recommend reading as a standalone!
Thank you to Luna Literary Management for the arc in exchange for my honest review 🖤.
This series has me in such a chokehold! The hot AF doctors and THE SPICE!! Man the spice in these books are so next level!
💙Doctor x medical student 💙Age gap 💙Brother’s ex best friend 💙Single dad 💙Enemies to lovers
Weston has been a background character in this series and now actually seeing him come to life with his own story is so exciting! I loved seeing him as the amazing single dad, while also being a cinnadom at the same time. His care for Caroline was so beautiful to see.
Caroline is at a cross roads of sorts - she is in medical school, because that’s what’s expected of her while being in a family full of people in the medical field. But she doesn’t know if this is what she actually wants to do, which is so real and genuine. I loved seeing how she’s an imperfect student who struggles to find her place.
Caroline and Weston start the book as enemies, but when they turn to lovers, I just knew it was going to be hot hot hot!
Angelina Rocca and Ash Beverly were a great pairing! I loved Angelina’s voice to represent Caroline and her internal struggles and Ash’s voice during the dominating scenes was chefs kiss!
This was so bittersweet because it's the final book of Midtown Memorial, what an end. I don't know how this could've been a better end truly. Caroline has been sort of the mystery sister, we haven't known much about her until now and I think she's my favorite. She's more reserved but isn't shy. I love how she navigates her life even with the pressure on her shoulder. Her sweet hobby of writing something she loves everyday made my heart melt. I think we were all skeptical of Wes's redemption story but the wait was worth it because goddammit Wes, you really are the best. He grew as a character especially when becoming a dad really forced that on him. Wes and Caroline together are the sweetest couple and Wes leaving the porch light on = TEARS.
Oh and the spice is so well written, the understanding, the exploration, the trust. 🔥🥵
Performed in duet by Angelina Rocca & Ash Beverly- they both did a phenomenal job at giving us Weston & Caroline’s story! I could not stop listening and am so happy for more of Midtown Memorial to be in our ears!
I think we all were waiting for our return to Midtown Memorial and this book absolutely delivered! As a fellow nurse, I appreciate how Lexie's books are so realistic when speaking of the medical field and the struggles that so many face working in the field.
I know I was ready for Dr. Attending and for daddy Weston and I think I love him a bit more now! The way he can read Caroline's needs so seamlessly was perfect and he was so patient in understanding in what she needed. He is quite literally so perfect as he's grown into being a dad and his priorities have shifted...and it is so hot to see the transformation. Weston & Caroline honestly might be my favorite couple of the series, although it's so hard to choose! We get heated moments, but also a lot of heartfelt ones and I could not want anything else for these two!
Read if you enjoy: -Single dad -Age gap -Doctor x medical student -Kink exploration -Found family
Great finish to this series, although is it the end? I feel like there may be another one at some point? Single dad trope isn’t my favourite but Carter was super cute and again, I love how involved all the previous characters are in each book! Sad that it’s over now.
Felt zero chemistry between Wes and Caroline and there was no build up of their relationship.. it just was.
Way too much telling and not enough showing - them spending a whole week together, him talking to a kink expert and learning about it, them taking a kink quiz.. all of that should have been on page.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I think I binged this whole series in a week and ugh! I'm not ready to say goodbye to these characters. 😭 However, I’d say ending this series with Weston and Caroline was perfect!
From book 1 I was anything from a Wes fan and told Lexie, she better write this good, cause I'm not sure how I'm going to read his story. Well it's safe to say I did, and I enjoyed it, even. 😂 So Wes gets his redemption.
I truly did enjoy seeing Wes in a different capacity. We left off in Dr. Fellow with Wes coming back and with a baby. And no other deets. Jumping in here in Dr. Attending, we finally see what Wes has been up to, how far he's come and reformed his old playboy ways. Because I low key couldn't stand him in the Dr. Resident. Now he's this patient, kind, caring man who wants Caroline's happiness and pleasure above his own, which he was anything but from in Dr. Resident.
Caroline, seemed so reserved and quiet from the rest of the books, but who knew she was so sassy and bratty! I loved how she challenged Wes, pushed his limits and their banter was so much fun!
Something I caught on to was how there was this level of power control dynamic between Wes and Caroline, how Wes had to always have control and Caroline didn't mind because at the end of the day she didn't want to be in control and she thrived off Wes taking it, and she owned it.
These two were so open and vulnerable with each other in very intimate settings, that it matched their personalities perfectly. And let me just say that Caroline played that "Madame" role so we'll, it was hot as hell!!! 🔥 One of my favorite parts in the book.

*I would like to thank both Lexie Woods and Luna Literary Management for allowing me to read Dr. Attending as an ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts and review.
I cannot believe we are officially saying goodbye to Midtown Memorial. I have enjoyed getting to know every character that Lexie created and to watch Lexie’s writing style grow.
This is Wes’s redemption ARC and Lexie did him justice. His character growth was a distract change. Of course the events from the earlier books were needed so Wes could be a daddy 🤤
While Lexie may tell you she didn’t think Caroline was going to be relatable, I think she was one of the most relatable characters she has written. We’ve only ever seen glimpses of her from the previous books. I loved how real she was and her personality. She was so sassy, but could also be vulnerable when needed.
The spice is this book was hot! The kink exploration between Wes and Caroline was very intimate! Their communication during these scenes they were very open and honest with each other.
Thank you Lexie for the amazing friendship and I cannot wait to see what is to come 🩵
Edit for ALC: This story is performed in duet by Angelina Rocca & Ash Beverly. They did a great job bringing Caroline & Wes to life. Both of them really honed in on the emotions the characters were experiencing throughout the story. Witnessing their growth and healing through audio made this reread extra special.
Trigger Warnings include: a significant amount of commentary on healthcare, death / dying, the very real struggles of medical professionals, mention of the death of loved ones, sexual content involving dominance/submission, light degradation, forced orgasm, bondage, anal training, punishment, and role play
Weston Southerland…don’t tell Parker I’m going to say this…but you sir are my favorite of the series! Also, Caroline?! This girl crush is STRONG! Nearly as strong as Caroline is. Especially when it comes to holding a grudge against Wes. But then she gets to experience him as his true self, and that changes the game. Until then, it created such a yummy back and forth! And I loved that it didn’t stop when they started opening up. There is not a selfish bone in Wes’s body. Caroline gets to experience that first hand! She truly believed that she didn’t deserve that man. (OUCH!) I loved the journey they went on as he proved that she deserved the love she craved. It was just a beautiful slow burn to allow a safe place to figure out what’s best for them both. And when they got there?! The perfection of this match up!!

What a way to end this amazing series and I loved reading very minute of it! I had been curious about both Weston and Caroline since I read Dr. Fellow and them two coming together was a beautiful story to read.
Caroline is such a pure soul that's the mix of Parker's (older brother) serious and take no nonsense attitude, & Claire's (older sister) have fun personality. After losing her mother, she's more closed off than ever and is drowning in self doubt with no one truly seeing her.
Weston truly is a reformed playboy and we have baby Carter(his son) to thank for that. After being a single Dad he's learned to not be selfish and care of others. The one person he cares for the most might the toughest cookie to creak and give him a chance.
The dynamic between these two was 🔥🔥. The banter and tension😍😍 They both gave as much as they got and I was here for it.
Caroline being scared of Weston due to his past and not fully opening her heart to him was something I appreciated. She didn't give into her desire and knew she had things to process before giving him a chance. I hated that she doubted herself so much, but it was completely realistic with how most med students feel. Her coming to terms with Carter and her love for him was so sensible, she didn't jump into the role like most romance novel! So well written.
Weston really was a contradiction😅, but there was a reason or emotion behind all his actions. People just never took the time to understand him. I think that's why he understood and saw Caroline so easily and knew exactly what she needed. This man really was a Daddy. Him being the support Caroline needed, while no one else saw her melted my heart!
This story is kinky and very spicy, so read at your own risk. The kink exploration was expected and I loved! Both Weston & Caroline learning new things about themselves and accepting that somethings aren't for them was a joy to read. Halloween night was hilarious to read!🤣 I do wish we got more of that side of Caroline!
The supporting actor & actress in this story were Carter and Morgan. Morgan was more trouble than she's worth at times, but she was the friend Caroline needed, even if it was sad that Caroline couldn't go to her own sister. And Baby Carter just stole the show over and over again😍
While I'm sad to see this series end, it was an honor to be part of the journey! And thank you Lexie for "Leaving the porch light on" Hope to see more of your success in all aspects of life💙
To start off I am just so sad this series is over. This was the perfect ending to the series but still doesn’t make it hurt any less that it’s over 💙🥺
Now that we got that out of the way onto this book!
So this book is about Weston (and his son Carter) and Caroline. Weston and Caroline have been apart of this series from the start and I feel this book was the story we needed for both of these characters. I always felt like Caroline was just on the outside of the story, not in a bad way but in a way that I wanted more of her, needed to know her on a deeper level because she couldn’t just be as plain as everyone was making her out to be. Given who her sister and brother are there was no way she couldn’t be more.
As for Weston, he needed this book! Personally I’ve always struggled with his character, and if you’ve read the other books it makes sense. We never had a real opportunity to understand his side, and what really makes him up. You’d almost call it a redemption book for him but honestly that’s not fitting. This was just his time like Caroline to grow. And his son Carter makes the biggest impact on him.
There was so many parts in this book while reading it to at validated my feeling about these two characters and it was so fulfilling hearing these two explain and express themselves more. This book was a pivotal moment and honestly wrapped up this series so perfectly. The comic relief is on point and diving more into the kink world always gets my blood pumping.
Lexie is amazing and truly even thought I’m heart broken for this series to be over I am in love with each of these books for different reasons 💙
You know, did I think that Wes would get a redemption arc? No, absolutely not. But here we are and I'm pretty sure this book is now my favourite in the series. Is it because of the kid? No. Is it because of the Daddy kink? I mean, probably. WESTON SOUTHERLAND - I SEE YOU!
I'm so sad to say goodbye to the Midtown Memorial family. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them and building a friendship with Lexie along the way, too. Weston and Caroline were the perfect ending to this series. I can see why Lexie has labelled this one as "different" but it's in the best possible way. Wes does get his redemption and you get to see and get to know Caroline on a different level.
Wes' character growth though; needless to say that the events that took place in the earlier books NEEDED to happen for Wes to change his ways and really step up. He is now kind, caring, the best Dad and is determined to put Caroline's happiness (and pleasure) before his own. Would that have happened in the first book? Absolutely bloody not. I loved Caroline a lot - she was so different to how Parker had portrayed her in book 1, honestly but can we really trust his judgement? No. She was so sassy and bratty; I loved her banter and despite her reservations about her ability to be a mother figure, she really tackled that head on.
Now admittedly, some of the k!nk scenes in the previous books have made me a little uncomfortable. And that's okay. That's a me thing. BUT I really, really enjoyed that side of things in this book. I love the way that Wes and Caroline explored things together. Their communication was open and honest and their vulnerability really showed.
I've absolutely loved this series and seeing Lexie grow as an author. I'm sad she's taking a writing break, but I cannot wait for Dr. Worth's book after that wee meeting.
Thank you so much, Lexie for the arc and having me on your team. I hope you loved my crying voice notes (the arc team ladies will know why...)

This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I’m going to read the other books in the series right now. It was just that good. I fell in love with every character and I can’t wait to go back and read their stories.
Weston & Caroline are couple goals. Add baby Carter into the package and I melted. They are just so good together. They come so far from where they started with Caroline hating him. There was a lot of tension, angst and banter from the start and once you get to the spice… Damn!
I loved that this book was so realistic. It wasn’t just a fluffy romance. It showed you the reality of med school pressure and being a doctor. I also fell in love with idea from Weston’s book. I will definitely be doing that.
I never wanted this book to end. I’m hooked and wish I could reread for the first time all over again. You will 100% swoon, gasp, and smile the whole way. It will be a book I reread constantly.

For the most part I enjoyed Angelina and Ash's performance! Normally I really like Ash in an audiobook, but I felt as if this wasn't the best role for him. I heard a much different deeper voice of someone to play Weston.
✨️📖 On To The Book Review 📖✨️
I cannot say enough good things about this book and this series! I really appreciate a book that is written from a medical professional and can properly show a medical scene. It is so much appreciated for the authenticity of what really happens!
I loved seeing how Caroline and Weston reunited and started building their relationship along with little Carter!! There was nothing I loved more than seeing how happy that little guy was with the family he had within Weston's friend circle!!!
I loved Weston and truly felt for him when he was dealing with his survivor's guilt of losing his best friend. I know that had to be a hard road to walk but he was more than willing to do the work so that he was a better person, not just for Carter but also for Caroline!
I truly loved this series and I cannot wait to see what else Lexie has up her sleeves! I know she is going to come with another amazing series and I am NOT SO PATIENTLY WAITING!
🥵🔥 LET'S TALK ABOUT SEX BABY 🔥🥵
🥵 Kink Exploration 🔥 BDSM 🌶 Cinnadom
Compared to other books Lexi has written this has to be the least amount of sexy time for her characters! But I did appreciate her exploration of BDSM with her characters! I wish there would have been more so that we could see how far they had come
Thank you 🫶🏻 to ✨️ Lexie Woods & Blue Nose Audio ✨️ for the complimentary 📚 ARC 📚/ 🎧 ALC 🎧. ✨️ All opinions are my own, honest, and voluntary✨️.
I am absolutely not ready to leave this series, I have loved every minute of it. This one really hit the spot! I love a good redemption story. If you’ve read the series, then you know Weston is the ex of Cassidy & ex best friend of Parker. He wasn’t exactly his best self at the end of Dr Resident. But now he is back and he is better than ever.
Weston is back and trying to make amends and having to raise his son. He wants to prove to everyone that he is not that same guy and he wants his son to have someone to look up to. I love seeing this change in Weston. It felt organic and not forced just for the storyline.
But when Weston falls for his ex best friend’s sister, Caroline, is it going to ruin every bit of effort he put in to making things better? Weston and Caroline were a perfect match. They fit perfectly in and out of the bedroom. The spice was incredibly hot! The k!nks that they explored together will make you sweat! The heat was intense!
This was a duet narrated by Angelina Rocca & Ash Beverly and they sounded so good together. Angelina is one of my favorites so she can do no wrong in my eyes. Angelina & Ash’s voices brought every emotion to life and they nailed the passionate moments too.
It’s the end of an era. The Midtown Memorial series has officially come to an end, and dare I say, Lexie saved the best for last.
Caroline has been such an enigma since the first book and I was so excited to finally learn more about her. The same goes for Weston since we really only saw his “bad boy” persona in all the other books. It was so nice to see this whole other side of their characters, though I would have loved a little more backstory to their history because I feel like it was rushed over (or maybe I just forgot from the previous books).
I really enjoyed this “redemption” story for Wes. The reformed playboy is now a single dad. He puts the needs of others before himself now, especially when it comes to his son and Caroline. And speaking of Caroline, how can you not love her sassy attitude?! The banter between her and Wes was too good.
I loved seeing everyone all together one last time 🥹 This was truly the best way to wrap up this series, and I am so grateful for Lexie for the opportunity to ARC read 3 out of the 4 books, as well as be part of your Little Devils team!
A big thank you to the author for letting me in as an ARC reader. I devoured the first book in this series (the author’s first book ever!) as it was the perfect mix of medical, romance & spice. The next two were also good but didn’t capture me like the first one. And this one…sigh. 😔 It simply felt like sex, smut, kink & entirely lost the quality plot & strong medical subplot that drew me into the series. I appreciate that may just be my take & that others love the abundance of kink exploration but I felt like there wasn’t enough connection or build up or work put into the sudden bond between the main characters & it just seemed to almost fast forward to 🌶️🌶️🌶️.
All that being said I adore this author as a person from her online presence, I just think I loved her original book for all of the relatable nurse content & this one simply didn’t have that. Too much time spent in the bed/hot tub /BDSM world & not enough in the hospital, OR or inside the head of a nurse.
i knew this would be my fav. don’t get me wrong, i am still so obsessed with claire and bad boy beau, but i knew when lexie mentioned the nickname princess, it was over for me. not only that nickname, but i loved loved loved caroline and her story. so resilient, so badass, so determined. daddy wes is E V E R Y T H I N G!!!😮💨
lexie also may have said that i would end up loving him and oh my gahhhh was she right! that man and the love for his son, his dedication to caroline and her career, his very dirty mouth, i mean there was not one little thing that i didn’t love about him.
lexie, i can’t wait to for whatever comes next for you, i’m so thankful to have connected with you, you’re hilarious, i’m so excited for you, I’m here for you, alllllll of the things!
I love a trip back to Midtown Memorial! I have been impatiently waiting for DADDY Weston and let me tell you, he did NOT disappoint.
-Doctor/Med student -Reformed playboy -Single Dad -Age Gap -Kink Exploration -He Falls First
The character growth in this book is top notch. Weston changing his ways and stepping up and being and amazing father. He is supportive to everyone around him and he shows up for Caroline when she needs him the most. He is patient, loving, kind, and so so dirty!
Caroline allows herself to lean on Wes and those round her as she works hard to get through med school. She has to allow her self to be open to the possibilities of what could be with Wes and his son Carter.
I am so sad that this wonderful series come to an end! I love Lexie woods and so thankful she blessed me with an ARC opportunity.
Did I devour this book in 24 hours - yes, yes I did! Did I neglect all of my duties to read this book - yes, yes I did! Do I regret these decisions - FUCK NO!!!!
Because OMG Lexie has done it again - Midtown Memorial has a new couple in town and I’m here for it!
Wes and Caroline - let’s be honest we didn’t know too much about these two other than Wes and his relationship with Cass before Parker and that Parker was his best friend. That Caroline had an awful and abusive partner but after the ending of Dr Fellow what we did know what that Wes was now a dad!
Wes is a single dad who has gravitated to parenthood quiet well and you definately see him in a whole different light to previous books and I’m here for it because I straight up fell in love with him!
Caroline - wow - did not see that coming but my god she came across so much more relatable in her own story and understanding her struggles with med school, etc. She came across so different in previous books and it was so lovely seeing life from her side.
When I tell you I was hooked - I was so invested in their story and I did not want it to end. If possible loved Walker and Morgan even more in this book then their own.
The acknowledgements made me cry and I can’t wait to see what Lexie Woods does next because if she writes it I am reading it
TROPES: 💼 - workplace romance ♥️ - best friend's brother 😒☀️ - grumpy / sunshine 💋 - age gap
This story is steamyyyyyy. It's heartfelt. You're going to swoon, gasp, and finish with a smile on your face!
Thank you Lexie and Luna Literary for this eARC in exchange for my honest review
4.5 stars.. probably my favorite of the series? I enjoyed seeing the growth with Caroline and I loved the redemption with Weston. I wish we had seen some additional background with the baby mama and also her ex. I really enjoyed this world and I feel like the author dropped lots of easter eggs that can be utilized for future books (siblings, Dr. Worth, etc). Excited to see what else this author has in store for the future!
Weston and Caroline were probably one of my favorite couples of the series. He seemed to be the only one who listened to her struggle about school and actually took the time to reassure her that she could do it.
While I love Carter and seeing Wes be a Dad, my only complaint is that I would have liked seeing Caroline interact with him more and step up more as that motherly figure for him.
The spice was SO good. I like that they didn't rush into intercourse and took it slow in that aspect. The kink was sooo hottt 🔥
I'm really sad this series is over but the ending that a nice way to tie it all together and end everyone's story.
What a perfect way to wrap up the Midtown Memorial Series. 💙
Dr. Attending is the fourth and final book in the series. This book follows Wes and Caroline (and Carter) & honestly, I think their story is my favorite out of the series BUT I just have a soft spot for a single dad.
Early on in the series Wes was probably my least favorite character. He was a huge playboy and almost one of those characters that you love to hate. In this book— you see a new side to Wes and learn that he isn’t the guy that you thought he was all along. Becoming a single dad definitely changed him for the better & my goodness does he have my heart now.
Caroline is a stressed out medical student, with black cat vibes. The banter and back and forth between Wes and Caroline is SO GOOD. Top tier tension and when that tension snaps it’s… oooofffff, game on. 😮💨
I loved watching their relationship develop. Watching Caroline fall in love with Wes and his son Carter was everything.
The found family in this series is my absolute favorite. The Midtown memorial family is a definite HR nightmare in the best possible way. 🖤

Thank you SO MUCH Lexie and Luna for the opportunity to read this as an ARC for my honest opinion and review!
Wes & Caroline are it. They are the couple and one is determined to keep the other.
If this was not a redemption story for Wes then I don't know what is.
Wes is a single dad to baby boy Carter who I might add is the absolute cutest. He has done a full 180 in this story from the rest of the series if you have read it and been keeping up with him. Caroline has hated Wes for years, but when she picks him and baby Carter up for her brothers wedding her perspective changes.
I for one did not see Caroline coming into Weston's life the way she did, but I'm so glad for it because they both need each other in ways they didn't even know, and baby Carter just made things even sweeter.
They melted my heart. I can not believe this series is over, but I'm so happy I entered the world of Midtown Memorial and met all these amazing characters who will always be embedded into my mind.
I gotta saaaaay omg ! This book was amazing and i really wish i could live with those caracter! I fully recommand this one. Wes is great and Caroline is perfect ! They are a great couple. Its perfectly spicy and i loved it !
Thank you Lexie, for allowing us to share thoses stories with you !!
Leave it to the doctors to always be doing their research…. From medical to kink. Lots of learning going on in this book…. And make the setting Grey’s anatomy …: Loved the authors use of her books throughout!
