A junior book doing what you'd expect – getting the young reader genned up on space, what is where, how big it is and how it all began. Like the other books I witnessed to complete this five-book set, ideal for the primary school reference centre, this is highly pictorial, formed of the snappier side of paragraphs, but unlike some it actually had things to teach me. The tallest peak in the solar system I could name, but the rest of the top five, and how none of them are on Earth? No idea, before this. OK, that's on the trivial side of things, but the basics of a lot of science and understanding are on these pages, and once again this is a sure-fire four stars.
