Heaven is a recovering drug addict who was just released from prison to a female Christian halfway house. The problem is that she doesn't believe she has a drug problem. She has no intentions of staying clean, until she meets Deacon Washington, a young father whose wife died during childbirth. Heaven seduces the newly widowed deacon, becoming the next Mrs. Washington and mother to his three young children.

Heaven is very resentful of the deceased Mrs. Washington, and plots to make her husband's first wife look like a lying adulterer. All this deceit leads Heaven to start shooting up heroin again, and her addiction takes over her life. Secrets are uncovered that threaten Heaven's new life with her new family, and leave everyone asking if she was really HEAVEN SENT.

I've had this book since 2015. I have no idea why I didn't read it sooner, yet it's another masterpiece from this author.
