I bought this book at the Air and Space Museum at Ellsworth AFB, in South Dakota. It is a great memoir and a great read. You will read about the author's courtship with her husband, and her subsequent love of military life, which takes them around the world. I loved the book and I highly recommend it.

I am about a 1/3 of the way through it. It is a wifes memories through his letter. It starts during the Korean War and will go through his carrer. I am sure I like it because of Jared and the Air Forced but I also like the referenced to the 50's and the old pictures. D

It is amazing how parallel our lives are...especially given the time difference.
