So excited I got to read this ARC and to say really enjoyed this book is putting it lightly. The emotions in this book were a bit of a rollercoaster, but I enjoyed every moment of the ride!! The commitment issues with Cici were new for me, most books I’ve read it’s always the men with the commitment issues. And the silent pining Eli had just made me swoon. We all deserve an Eli in our lives that will show up with their whole heart even if we aren’t ready/willing at the time.
These two together made for a great book! When Cici comes to the realization of what she may have lost, my heart ached for her! And then add the scenario that Eli was stuck in, then the accident and having no memory of certain things…ahhh just 😳!!

Someone said in a review that we all deserve an Eli in our lives...... I rebuke that curse so damn hard!!!! 😂😂😂😂 because who tf wants a guy who loves them so much and pines for them so hard but constantly raves about how horny and turned on another woman makes him. He absolutely enjoyed sex with the ow we're told over and over again and this is the type of man we all deserve in our lives? One who didn't even let the bed sheets air out properly before he replaced you?? The bar is so low it's beyond hell🤦🏽♀️ y'all can keep these pos mmcs I'm good.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4 stars) – An emotional rollercoaster I didn’t want to get off of!
This book completely took me by surprise. From the first chapter, I was emotionally invested, and for the first 40-45% I was fully in it, cheering for Eli and totally on his side. Then came the twist… and let’s just say, Chapter 11 had me launching my Kindle across the room. (It gave me Magnolia Parks-level aggression. If you know, you know.)
After that intense turning point, the pacing faltered a bit for me, but what really kept me reading was how deeply Bethany Rosa explores her characters’ emotions and thoughts. It made it much easier to empathize with everyone, even when they made questionable choices, and not just give up on the story.
Then, around the 75% mark, BOOM, plot twist. And not just one, another twist followed almost immediately. I was stunned. Didn’t see it coming at all. Thankfully, some smart, satisfying decisions were made afterwards that helped steer the story home.
What I absolutely loved: Eli (MNC) is down bad for the Cici (FMC), and the friendships in this book are top tier. So heartwarming, so genuine, it made the journey even more enjoyable. And the writing! There’s something about the tone voice that just kept me turning pages, even during the heavier parts.
Yes, when I tried explaining the plot to my friends, it sounded a bit chaotic 😂. But that just goes to show how much of a ride it really is.
The final chapters tied everything together so well, and the epilogue was the cherry on top. (Except… the milk thing. Yeah… we’re going to pretend we didn’t see that. 😅)
All in all, Pursuit of Love was a wild, emotional, and thoroughly enjoyable read!

This is book 4 in the Pursuit series. This is Cici and Eli's story. It can also be read as a standalone but preferably should be read from book 1 as this is where these characters are first introduced. Cici is best friends with Lily and Eli is Sebastian's twin brother from book 1. They had been hooking up in secret over the course of the first few books even after Cici moves to Montana after graduating from college. Eli finds out upon turning 29 that he must marry by his 30th birthday in order to get his inheritance so he proposes to Cici who is also commitment phobia. She is very independent and refuses to be tied down. She rejects his proposal even though she loves him. Then she finds out she's pregnant and by this time Eli has made plans to marry Rebecca in name only. Rebecca previously worked for Cici's brother Jackson in the family business. Things take a turn for the worse when Eli has an accident and winds up in a coma. Will he remember Cici or will he marry Rebecca?
This was such a fast pace book. I couldn't put it down. It took me on an emotional roller coaster. Plus the plot twist I didn't see coming! Eli is the more fun loving and adventure seeking twin but he is just as dominant in the bedroom as his brother. Bethany has become a fast favorite for me. I have enjoyed this series with these alpha billionaires and highly recommend them! I can't wait for the next book!

I was anxiously awaiting Eli and Cici's story and loved their banter and their chemistry was off the charts. Eli is the more fun loving and adventure seeking twin but he is just as dominant in the bedroom as his brother. This book was such a ride, equal parts emotional, angsty, and swoony in the best way. I loved the pining from Eli. Seriously, give me a man who aches in silence and still shows up with a full heart. Eli's journey had me completely hooked. He's reckless, passionate, and so full of love he doesn’t quite know what to do with it.
And Cici? Complicated, independent, and beautifully real. Her fear of commitment made my heart ache for her, especially as she started to realize what she might’ve lost. These two together? Fire and heartbreak and second chances all rolled into one.
The emotional tension, the push and pull, and that ever-present feeling that these two were meant to find their way back to each other, it made the story impossible to put down. Add a life-changing accident, a secret that could change everything, and some seriously tender moments, and you’ve got a love story that sticks with you.

Jesus effing Christ!!! That was the most beautiful whirlwind! We got introduced to Eli and Cici in the first book and I was NOT ready! Eli is a happy go lucky, fun, charismatic kind of guy who never falls in love, until he does, with the one person with just as much aversion to relationships as him if not more! Cici who fought hard for her independence from her family is just trying to prove that she can be successful outside of her parents family business! She fights love until her option of love may be taken away forever! The first half is so swoony and the second half of this book had my anxiety and heart rate at an all time high! The confusion, the lies, the clauses all lead to the perfect conclusion for these two!

This series has a special place in my heart. I love the characters and to see how much they have grown and changed throughout the series makes my heart happy. The more this series progresses the more I love these characters. I have been waiting for Eli and CiCi since the end of book 1 I knew they were going to have explosive chemistry and the push and pull with secrets between them just made this book all the more heartwrenching, mind-twisting (so many surprises), rewarding in the end. Love it and I can't wait for book 5 already know the couple, but their backstory is going to be very interesting too!

This book completely swept me away! I couldn’t put it down (unless life forced me to). From the very beginning, I found myself fully invested in Eli and Cici’s story. Eli, especially, stole my heart. He’s such a beautiful, selfless soul who wears his heart on his sleeve in the best way. The way he continues to fight for Cici’s love, even when things get complicated, made me love him even more. He never gives up on her (not until he absolutely has no other choice) and that loyalty and patience was what made me love him even more. Cici intrigued me from the start. Her fear of commitment and her struggle to fully feel her emotions added layers to her character, and while I do wish we got a bit more background on why she was that way, it honestly didn’t take away from the impact of the story for me. Watching her journey unfold was both frustrating and fascinating. I did not expect the surprised Bethany threw at us, but honestly, those twists added so much depth and unpredictability that I couldn’t stop turning the pages. This book kept me hooked from beginning to end.
If you love emotional slow burns with characters who are flawed but genuine, and a love interest who feels like a real-life dream, Pursuit of Love is absolutely worth the read.

This is book 4 in The Pursuit series, although it’s my first read of the series and by the author. What an emotional wild ride she took me on. Had me in all my feels. There was angst, emotional tension, pining, and a plot twist that had me reeling!
I enjoyed the author’s writing style and how she kept me engaged. I loved Cici and Eli’s characters, the way they would banter and their chemistry and I just swooned over Eli! Although heavy at times, this one is hard to put down and I will definitely be going back to start at the beginning of this series. If you enjoy a love triangle, angst, spice, heartfelt pining then you will love this book!

This book has me on the edge of my seat. The twists and turns got me every time. so let's start with Eli. I love his take on love that life is too short so let's make sure we are honest and love to the fullest. His vulnerability with Cici is just adorable. not the plot twist I wanted to punch him in the throat even if I also wanted to help him. But like any good fairy tale it all works out in the end.
Now Cici. I adore Cici and felt like she was one of my friends. she is a hurricane at its finest. and yet you want her to win. I just wanted to snuggle and shake her at the same time during the height of the twist. but feel like I would have done the same thing for some of it.
All around like always Bethany did a great job with banter and spice. She doesn't disappoint. it is spicy from start to finish. That epilogue.... if you know you know.

It was so fun to go back to these characters and see how the timelines overlapped a bit from the previous book to now. I found it soo interesting how we got an FMC with commitment issues while silently pining after Eli. I was living for it!!
Also the emotional rollercoaster that this brought me on was insane. I thoroughly loved CiCi and Eli and I thought their story was perfect!

Wow! This book… this book. I really enjoyed this ARC read! What an emotional journey that had me hooked from the beginning. Eli and CiCi couldn’t be more different in how they approach love, but their connection was undeniable. I loved Eli’s heart — he was emotional, caring, and fully committed. CiCi was ambitious and driven, even if her heart took a little longer to catch up.
I really appreciated the presence of family throughout the story.
Bethany has done it again! It did not disappoint.

I rated this book five stars the way it was written had me drawn in fron the start its fast paced but not to fast you dont understand it the way it's written is planned and paced extremely well.

I rated this book five stars the way it was written had me drawn in fron the start its fast paced but not to fast you dont understand it the way it's written is planned and paced extremely well.

This book is the emotional story of Eli and Cici.
Eli had me completely hooked with his emotional story. He is passionate, hard working, carefree, but still brings himself back to his roots and what he truly wants in life.
Cici is very independent, emotional but very real with herself. Her story will have you feeling for her as she works through some very real hard emotional issues with herself.
If you love romance, second chances, true chemistry, secret relationship, this book should definitely be on your list to read.

As with other books I’ve read from this author, it was so hard to put this book down. Being able to read Cici and Eli’s journey was quite a rollercoaster. Definitely some spice in there too.
With Cici finally finding out why she avoids commitment at all costs it helps understand the rollercoaster of emotions I had through this book. There were times I wanted to yell at her and ask her what her problem was and to quite avoiding the man she clearly loves and who loves her back. But all the drama they went through made for a fantastic book. I’m glad they got a happy ending.
It was a pleasure being picked as an ARC reader for this book. Definitely worth the reading!

I’ve been a long-time fan of Bethany’s books, and surprise surprise—this one was just as addictive as the rest. Every book brings something fresh, and this time, it’s Eli and Cici setting fire to the pages (and my sanity).
Eli’s your classic thrill-seeker with a heart. Definitely reckless in most things, except when it comes to Cici. He was smitten from day one, hopelessly hooked. And when she ghosted? Cue heartbreak and lots of pining.
Fast forward—Cici’s back in town, dodging commitment like it’s her full-time job. She’s got no plans to rekindle anything, especially not with Eli. But our guy? Oh, he’s so not letting her off the hook. He plans and schemes, and a Vegas trip later... goes full rom-com mode: charm, chase, and chaos. And let’s just say... what happens in Vegas? Yeah, it definitely didn’t stay there.
The chemistry between these two? Nuclear. The longing? Palpable. The stubbornness? Honestly, I was ready to climb into the book and shake Cici myself.

I love the fact that Cici gets professional help with what she later finds out is a phobia. This shows that things aren't always as they are and things can change with help. It also shows that nobody is beyond getting help. The fact that these two remain friends, despite the constant push and pull of their relationship shows a lot.
I did not like the fact that Eli ends up having a relationship with Rebecca knowing that Cici will not like it. With that comes the fact that Rebecca zeroed in on Eli, even without Cici having gone back home. It made me dislike Rebecca more than I already disliked her.
I would definitely recommend this book, as well as the series. While it can be a standalone, the other books give insight to the other characters in the book and how they play into the storyline.

OMG I'm so OBSESSED with this series!! Cici and Eli's story was AMAZING!! I've been waiting since book 1 for this story to get here. I devoured all of the audiobooks for this series and this one was no different. I loved having the other characters from the other books come back into this story as well. It's always nice to catch up with them. This book was end game for me!
The narrators Sebastian York, Ava Erickson, Teddy Hamilton, Savannah Peachwood, Vanessa Edwin, Aaron Shedlock, and Aiden Snow were absolutely AMAZING! They all told this story so well and I love how they made you feel connected with the characters. They held my attention and kept me entertained the entire time I listened to this book.
Eli & Cici have had a connection since they met. We have known these two were going to get together but had no idea the rollercoaster ride we would be taking along the way. Eli & Cici had a fling but no commitment, When they were in each others town they'd see each other if they had time and that was it. But then Eli founds out about a stipulation and needs to get married. When he can't have Cici he goes to another person.

But now that she received the call nightmares are made of that Eli is in a coma after a racing accident she knows what she has to do NOW!! But even after he wakes up not remembering what happened between them they still have a journey to go on together and in the end it was all worth it.

Cici has a job lined up in Bozeman, Montana, and is planning to leave her home for a new adventure of proving she can make it on her own, despite her parents telling her she will regret not helping take over the family business. This is the first time Cici leaves, even though Eli asks her to stay.
Cici ends up having to return home for an extended period of time. This is when Eli realizes it’s now or never to convince Cici that they are meant to be together. Then, a curveball is thrown at Eli with a stipulation on the trust that decides his whole life of getting to keep his part of his family’s business and his inheritance.
Eli realizes that he is now on a timeline to make all of his dreams come true, while saving his inheritance.
This is a spicy story about two people who have an undeniable connection, but the timing is just never in their favor. This is about two people realizing their feelings for each other, and finding their way back to each other time and time again.
I would definitely recommend this book, it sucked me in from the very beginning. You will be rooting for Eli’s happily ever after the whole time!

Cici & Eli’s Story Brings the Heat and the Heart
Pursuit of Love by Bethany Rosa gave us a steamy, emotionally charged romance between Cici and Eli and I absolutely loved it. This was one of my favorite reads in the series, largely because of how quickly Eli falls and how determined he becomes in the pursuit of something real.
This book brought the 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ spice, complete with dirty talk and Dom Eli energy. But beneath the heat was so much heart. There were some unexpected twists and heavy moments that challenged both characters, and watching them fight for each other made their ending that much more satisfying.
Eli, the former bachelor, was quick to realize that Cici was different. He didn’t hesitate to give up his old lifestyle in hopes of something real with her. But when Cici claimed their connection was just one of convenience, Eli knew he had his work cut out for him. Still, he was all in, determined to show her just how great they could be together.
Cici, on the other hand, was doing her best to keep things casual. Back in San Diego temporarily to help her brother Jackson, she saw Eli as someone to pass the time with—not someone to fall for. Her life was in Bozeman, where she had her job and a newfound family. But as Eli starts showing her what romance and stability could look like, she begins to feel the pull—and the pressure—to either run or risk everything.
I also really enjoyed seeing familiar faces like Lily & Sebastian, Pursuit of Innocence, and Jackson & Mia, from Dangerous Pursuit, it gave a deeper sense of community and continuity to the series.
In all, this book was the perfect mix of slow-burn tension, heartfelt vulnerability, and spicy chemistry. Eli and Cici’s story will stay with me for a while!
