Tinsley McCoy is well into her international stardom but finds herself traveling to Paris during the Christmas holiday alone—until her bodyguard and lover, Parris, surprises her. Join them on a whimsical, paparazzi-chasing holiday in the “City of Love”…Paris.
Read Parris & Tinsley’s backstory in the book “Flight to Parris”
To Parris with Love was a very cute read with just the right amount of spice.
This book follows the relationship between Parris (the bodyguard) and Tinseltown (the now international artist) that was in the book Flight to Parris.
This is a short novella is a great book to read on the weekend, when you want something romantic and spicy at the same time.
It’s a perfect palate read because it is light hearted and ends with a happy ending.
My overall rating is 3.5 ⭐️ I wanted a little more with this book after reading Friendsgiving with the Bellafontes. Just a smidge of drama or a little more messiness when Eriq made a cameo.
I would recommend especially if you love books by this author.
To Parris with love is the continuation of flight to Parris
Workplace & holiday romance The story was way too short for my liking :)
The love story of Tinsley and Paris continues, Tinsley is in Europe to find her next producer for her new album. Whilst way, all she longs for is to spend the Christmas holidays with her new found love Paris in Paris at first it seems like it’s impossible but Christmas magic occurs.
Eriq her ex is finding it hard to comprehend that tinsley has moved on, he pops up in London trying to reclaim his ex. Will she make it know to the public and him that she is locked in with her long-time bodyguard and best-friend Parris?
Tinsley and Parris are at it again with their beautiful black love but in Paris.
Not going to lie, at times I was frustrated with Tinsley due to her decision of wanting to keep her relationship with Parris at the lowest of keys because at this point…girl go be with yo man and bodyguard in one 🤣 BUT we got a glimpse of how much growth she has experienced within herself and a glimpse of her letting herself fall for a good thing.
If you’re not new to Parris, you already know how he is. He definitely displayed his love for Tinsley in all ways! My favorite is the way he protects her 🥰
Can’t forget the spicy scenes…Danielle what you be listening to while writing those? 😮💨👀
This was short and sweet! I did expect a little bit more from To Parris With Love just based on how Friendsgiving with the Belafontes was. Overall enjoyed it!
If Danielle Brooks wrote it…I’m reading it…I’m recommending it.
Tinsley and Parris are back for the holidays and have been dating officially for a year, without publicizing their relationship. Tinsley isn’t ashamed, she is just keeping this relationship sacred and enjoying what they have. This was a good follow-up to see what became of their relationship. Parris is still very much so willing to do anything to make Tinsley happy and handle her with the care and love she deserved. Baby, these two got in, everywhere! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! Although Tinsley had moments of self-doubt, she didn’t allow that to limit her from enjoying the magic she deserved with Parris.
This wasn’t a horrible read….I just expected more maturity from the characters Tinsley & Parris’ and their public relationship. “To Parris With Love: A Christmas Romance” was contrived, corny yet a cute concept for the holidays. However, for an artist that’s been in the music industry for twenty years, Tinsley’s character in this book put other people’s lives in jeopardy trying to be an ordinary tourist. Isn’t that the responsibility of a manager/publicist …hmmm, Aya Perry? Crickets‼️That was just irresponsible, annoying and conveniently naive just to experience Paris France vicariously in Parris’ (the man, her man) presence without contingency plan.
“Love didn’t make you shrink or love yourself any less to love the other more. Love encourages you to love yourself so much that your energy connects with one another.”
To Parris with love follows Tinsley and Parris. An international superstar and her bodyguard. I love the type of love they have. Parris is so sweet and kind to Tinsley. He lets her be herself while he makes it his job to make her happy and keep her safe. Tinsley just wants quality time with Parris and be able to just be herself. There were also some public spicy scenes 🥵. Another perfect holiday read for your TBR.
This was a cute update on Parris & Tinsley. Picking up 2 years later, they were basically trying to keep their relationship private a little longer from the world. I wouldn’t recommend reading this if you didn’t read the first book as you won’t get the full backstory and understanding of all Parris was to Tinsley and all he did for her during her breakup with her trifling ex.
This was my first read from Danielle Brooks and she did not disappoint! There were a few typos but honestly it wasn't a big deal to me. I need more Parris and Tinsley. They were super cute snd believable characters that made you feel like you were right there with them! This was my first read of the Christmas season and I wish it didnt need to end. Thank you Danielle!!!
This book is so good and satisfying to me because I wanted a update continuation of Tinsley and Parris. Now, I need a wedding romance novel & a happily ever after
3/5 - Fast paced read. It was cute, but corny at the same time. Tinsley was too immature for my liking. She acted like she was in her early 20’s vs her 30’s. Also the smut wasn’t as steamy as I needed it to be.
Finally! Parris and Tinsely are living and loving in the light. I feel in love with Danielle's books after the first one and now I'm hooked. Parris sounds that knight in shining armour we all daydream about, and Tinsely is the princess who happens to be a world famous singer. I loved this book set with Paris as a backdrop to where their story continues to unfold.
