Harmony Raines loves to write romance filled with magic and love. Her men are usually not so alpha, but they know how to treat their fated mates, or alien lovers well.

Just my way of saying thank you for giving my books a try.
I really enjoyed this book. I thought that it was another good addition to the Bear Creek Forever: Thornberg Ranch Series by Harmony Raines. This book, like all the books in the Bear Creek Universe is an insta-love story about fated mates. Tammy has come to Bear Creek to help her injured Uncle Gavin with his Veterinary Clinic, as well as a way to escape to rumour mill after she was jilted a week before the wedding by her ex fiancé Peter.
Tammy knows of shifters since she spent a lot of time in Bear Creek in her childhood and she saw her Uncle Gavin’s friend shift once. The last thing Dougray expects when the Vet comes to check out his pregnant horse Lucy, is for him to be injured and helping him with his clinic is his niece Tammy and that she happens to also be his mate. Dougray could tell that Tammy by the look in her eyes when they shook hands and she felt the spark of their connection that she’s been hurt recently so he needs to approach things slowly.
When Tammy learns they’re mates she’s ready to see where their connections goes by slowly getting to know each other, as she’s still hurt from her ex’s actions with Dougray is okay with. I really liked the suspenseful aspect during this book, as it added an unexpected but most welcome twist to Dougray & Tammy’s happily ever after. I’m looking forward to reading Klein’s story next. I’d definitely recommend this book, series, universe and author to everyone.
3.5 stars. More interesting than the previous books. Mainly due to the hurt shifter aspect and how that played out with Finlay. (soft spot for my grandsons name). Liked Dougray getting his mate and the fact Tammy knew about shifters was a good change. Both Tammy and her uncle Gavin were likeable. The whole fool Peter but was fun. Though I wouldn’t want to entrust my animals to vets who don’t react properly in an emergency situation. Why wasn’t Tammy starting treatment on the way to the clinic. Ezra had bought her medical bag so she could have at least given him antibiotics or a pain killer. And they don’t mention cleaning (debriding) the infected wound before stitching it, which is a must do. Antibiotic drips alone won’t work. I am intrigued to know more about Jay, the missing brother. Read through kindle unlimited.
Tammy has come back to Bear Creek to help out her uncle after he has hurt is ankle. But she also needs the break after her ex dumped her one week before their wedding. But coming to Bear Creek will get her true love. Dougray has been waiting along time to find his mate and she just drove up. Her and her uncle are the areas veterinarians and they have come to check one of Dougray’s horses not know he is her mate. But soon they face the facts that fate has brought then together. But they have to solve a mystery before they can make a life together. So enjoy another great read from ms. Raines !!
Opps that can't be correct, can it? There were a couple of head scratchers caused by glaring inconsistencies. One time, they were eating pot roast, and then the pot roast miraculously turned into meatloaf, then turned back into pot roast. Hummm, a new kind of shape shifter, maybe?? Then, a couple of pages later, on a different day, they were eating lunch that shifted into dinner and then back to lunch in the matter of a paragraph or several. Well, now we have all that shifting out of the way. I can say that the book was a cute read but had lean meat to it. On the good side, you will need oven mits to 📚 read. Still sweating.
Dougray and Tammy...The fourth Thornberg bear shifter finds his mate in Tammy, a veterinarian. She's hesitant to accept the mating bond. Meanwhile, there's something strange happening near Bear Creek. It's spooking the animals and bringing unwanted attention to the Bear Creek shifters. This story is quite the adventure that takes the reader on a wonderful ride of discovery. Enjoy!
A Heart to Bear (Bear Creek Forever Book 4) by Harmony Raines. Veterinarian Tammy’s fiancée Peter dumped her a week before they were to marry so she came to Bear Creek to help her uncle with his practice while her broken heart mended. When she met Dougray they both realised they were mates but decided to take it slow. Things get complicated when a lion and Tammy’s ex Peter show up.
As soon as he saw her, he knew she was his mate. It didn't take long for her to accept it. When out for a ride, they found a wounded lion shifter. They fixed him up but not without consequences. Social media posted pictures of paw prints and her ex arrives. I enjoyed the way they tricked him. Once he was gone, they got their HEA.
Loved this series and couldn't put it down enjoyed the characters and the storylines and can't wait to read more in this series so it's a well deserved five stars and I would recommend this book to everyone
Quick, insta love read with low key mystery. A broken heart and a new opportunity working with her uncle has the new veterinarian in town living out the adventure of a life time.
Such fun. Prepare for new beginnings, family and more family. Beloved characters add warmth and richness to the story (and an eagerness for their stories as well). I do love the shifters of Bear Creek (each of the series is gold).
I really loved this book📚 from this series! Once again another brother has found their fated mate. This series is filled with family, friendship, loyalty, romance and love❤
I enjoyed book 4 in this series watching Dougray and Tammy’s finding their HEA. I’m looking forward to book 5 in this series and will recommend this book to everyone.
Back in Bear Creek with my favorite story of the series so far! Dougray & Tammy's story is sweet, sexy, suspenseful & a bit spicy all wrapped in a neat little package! I love these shifters! Dougray has been waiting for his mate for...forever & she has just driven onto Thornberg Ranch to check on their pregnant mare! Tammy has come to Bear Creek to help her uncle Gavin with his veterinary practice while his ankle is injured. She may also be running from the looks & whispers of friends & family, when her fiance cancels their wedding a week before its supposed to happen. She is most definitely NOT looking for a relationship, but she sure can feel the pull from a certain shifter & their bond! Though she is hesitant, she does enjoy spending time with Dougray, strengthening their bond. The suspense in this story brings an interesting surprise I didn't see coming as well! Enjoy!
