After one night with my older ex-husband at a wedding, I return to our small town with some unexpected news: My morning sickness is his fault.
My ex-husband—the town sheriff—pulled me over for speeding. Throwing up on him instead of getting a ticket? Definitely not my proudest moment. Neither was telling him the tiny little detail that I’m pregnant… from the one night we spent together at his brother’s wedding. It was supposed to be a one-time thing, for old times’ sake. But Carter insists on doing everything his way.
Including taking a chance—on us.
I refuse to get back together just for the sake of our baby. But Carter moves me into his home and stubbornly proves that maybe we gave up on each other too soon. As we grow close again and prepare to become parents, I start to wonder if maybe, just maybe, things could work out better this time around.
Because maybe now… I finally have everything I ever needed.
For lovers of books low on angst and a swoony hero who falls first. This is the third and final book in the Everhope Road series and can be read as a standalone.
Author's Note: You may have met the characters before. Rosie Blisswood (The Blisswood Brothers, Something Right) and Sheriff Carter (Lake Spark Off-Season, Waiting to Score) find themselves in an accidental pregnancy with a second chance that has everyone on Everhope Road talking. You do not have to read these books to enjoy the story.
Evey writes heartwarming romances with steamy moments, often in small-town settings with an element of sports. An American from the Midwest, she now lives in a tiny country in Europe where it rains a lot. That is probably why she occupies her days typing away on her laptop with music on repeat and slow-roast coffee nearby. Oh, and she vows to never break up with cake.
I don’t even remember where I found this book and it was like 3 days ago and I regret it. The concept was interesting but the execution was not the best. I’m genuinely confused how the author has been allowed to release so many books with this writing… it NEVER flows. There’s something so off about it and I was constantly editing it in my mind. Not only did the writing disappoint me but the story fell so short of what it could’ve been. It felt like they just glazed over the issues in their marriage and never talked deeply about anything. I think flashbacks to the beginning and end of their marriage or a prologue would have added a lot of context and maybe shown their connection a little more because I really wasn’t feeling it. I also hated the mayor storyline so much. It was so random to me and not developed whatsoever. Seemed like he barely even wanted to be the mayor and it was unnecessary to the story. Unfortunately neither of the main characters had any personality either. The guy was weirdly possessive which was his only thing and the girl was supposed to be a free spirit but regretted seeing the world and just stayed at home all day which is another issue I had. They never really did anything and all their development happened at home and bored me so much.
We return to the Everhope Road series with Everything I Needed book three in the series featuring Carter and Rosie. This is a second chance romance with an accidental pregnancy and has all the familiar characters we were introduced to in the other books. I adored Carter and Rosie together as a couple they are complete opposites but perfect for each other. This was a real easy enjoyable read! I received a complementary from the author.
Everything I Needed is Rosie Blisswood and Sheriff Carter’s second chance romance and it’s book three in the Everhope Road Series. This is a sweet, super cute, face paced, accidental pregnancy and second chance love story. Carter and Rosie hook up at a friend’s wedding for a passionate night which results in a surprise pregnancy. They may be divorced but Carter sees this as the perfect opportunity to win Rosie back. So will Rosie risk her heart again……. I loved everything about this book from the characters to the witty banter and everything in between. It’s a captivating read with characters that are easy to relate to. Everything I Needed is the book you didn’t know you needed until you turn the pages.
ARC 15- EVERYTHING I NEEDED Author- Evey Lyon Tropes- accidental pregnancy, second chance romance, small town, meddling families, age gap, it’s always been you, once married now divorced, opposites attract. Book 3- Everhope Road Series
Plot: Carter, Everhope’s well known and respected sheriff and now running for mayor, life’s changed when he first met Rose, his Rosie several years ago. What ensured was a whirlwind romance with them eloping and getting married. They both were young, Rosie being younger that Carter. Rosie was a free bird, jumping from place to place while Carter was stable, rooted. Somewhere along their married road, they felt the distance increasing between them. With their differences and Rosie’s free bird tendencies, she served the divorce papers and Carter signed them without a fight. She left, saying that he would find someone who would make him happy. He never said that she was the one. They were no longer together, but at the back of their heads, they were forever present.
At the present, Carter’s overbearing mom had invited Rosie in hopes of getting the two of them together again. Hurt, angry and regretful, Carter’s goal was to avoid her. Rosie too, angry at herself and hurt at him for letting her go easily was determined to avoid him. They find themselves in each other’s vicinity. While catching up with their lives, they wind up on Everhope Road, where Carter lived. They end up together in the sheets, a one last time.
They end up conceiving a baby. They missed each other. They wanted the baby. Things were awkward between them. The always had the question- could we get a second chance at being together for good- floating in their heads. A lot was striking simultaneously. Carter was determined not to let her go again, the baby was their sign. He manages to get her stay at his house, not only to keep an eye on her and to be a part of the entire journey, because he wanted to convince her they are good and right together. They are everything they needed.
The challenge- Rosie held herself guilty for their situation, the awkwardness and words hanging unsaid between them. She was afraid of hurting him again. Carter had to be patient in convincing her that it was always meant to be them despite wanting to speed it up, and hopefully before the baby was born. The question- do they finally get they permanent HEA?
Opinion: Adjectives to describe it- simple, sweet, funny, chaotic very much- like the previous book. I personally am not a fan of their parents, especially Carter’s but people like them do exist. Brownie points for that reality check. The style of the book is simple and purely focused on the progress of their love story with no external agents trying to break them up. The reason why Carter got so worked up and pissed when he learnt that Oliver and Hailey had eloped like him was because of the fear that they might walk down that lane he and Rosie took. It was out of an elder brother’s love and tension. The point I loved the most- they took their time to understand and relearn each other. They didn’t rush into things like how they did the previous time. They realised how much they meant to each other, never to be take for granted again, which is the important point. They both are good people who went down a detour to realise how much they mean to each other. They learnt from their mistakes. This is a tension free book. The questions what happens next and how two they work things are permanent while reading it. There can be some readers who may not like the book- I informed ahead.
“Everything I Needed” is the third and final book in the “Everhope Road series.” I do love small town romance with a second chance at love - this was a wonderful read. Rosie is on her way to see Carter, her ex-husband, the sheriff, when she is pulled over for speeding. Throwing up on him instead of getting a ticket wasn’t her proudest moment. Nor when he realizes that Rosie need to inform him of the itsy-bitsy tiny detail that she is pregnant due to there one night together at his brother’s wedding. It was for old times’ sake, right? Except Carter is still insistent that they do things his way. He wants her to move in with him so that he can look after her and the baby - the alternative is to be at home with her parents. “Rosie, you’re living with your parents. We can both agree that isn’t the best solution right now. They will watch your every move like a hawk. Besides, this baby is mine, too. Providing for you is what I should do.”
Carter lost all his defenses when it comes to Rosie, and now he’s determined for this baby and what he truly want with this woman, to end the misery that he has in been in since they signed the divorce papers. Rosie refuse to reunite only due to their child. But Carter moves her into his home and is persistent on proving that they shouldn’t have given up on one another the first time around. And as they grow closer again, preparing to become parents, Rosie slowly begin to realise that they might be better this time around. After all, now we might have everything we ever needed…
“My lips twitch, wanting to smile because she’s beautiful. Slightly worn out and pale, but beautiful. It’s just the way her hand rests against her cheek or the fact the throw blanket is only covering her middle. It also means I see bare legs and my shirt that drowns her.”
There is never a dull moment! This book is everything you expect from a alpha male small town romance! I’m very happily hooked - I did not want it to end! Once I started reading, I could not put this book down! At times you will laugh, you will cry, get angry and frustrated - most of all, you will love the twists! This book will charm “the pants off you” and leave you going back for more. I thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful love story. This is a lovely book that will keep you hooked! It has fun, laughs, intrigue, twists that you do not expect, and physical attraction. You will fall in love with Carter and Rosie 💞💞
This is a lovely book that will keep you hooked! It has fun, laughs, intrigue, twists that you do not expect, and physical attraction. I thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful love story 💗 From page to page, chapter to chapter, from cover to cover - you will enjoy this beautiful story! This book will not disappoint! Highly recommended 😊
Tropes: 💞 Second chance 💞 Surprise pregnacy 💞 Ex spouses 💞 Small town 💞 Town sheriff 💞 Forced proximity
Ohhhh my GOSH!!! I couldn’t get enough of Rosie and Carter’s second chance romance. They were the absolute sweetest couple. They were once married until they were divorced when Rosie wanted to explore the world, find herself, and be the free spirit she is. After years of not seeing each other she’s in town both attending Oliver (Carter’s brother) and Hailey’s wedding when one thing leads to another and then 6 weeks later she’s back, with BIG NEWS!
Carter is the grumpy sheriff who has always loved Rosie and would do anything for her including letting her go years ago. Rosie is a spitfire who’s a free spirit and has always loved Carter but needed time away to realize. Rosie and Carter are complete opposites but absolutely perfect for each other. They help complete each other. They are the true meaning of soulmates. You could tell from the first few pages the connection and love was still there but also some tension. They both had walls up, Rosie more so but not because of Carter but because she’s afraid to hurt Carter again. Overtime Rosie’s walls came down and she allowed Carter in fully.
Everything I Needed was a very enjoyable read. I know when I read an Evey Lyon book I will be laughing my way through the book but there will also be a lot of heartfelt moments. It was a quick read that I couldn’t put down. I couldn’t get enough of the witty banter between all the characters as well as the cameos from other books. My favorite part of Evey’s books is that we get to see past characters in them because it’s hard to say goodbye. As always this was a captivating read with easily relatable characters who you can’t help but fall in love with.
If you enjoy a sweet, super cute, fast paced small town second chance romance with lots of banter, a surprise pregnancy (done the right way), and a little spice I recommend Everything I Needed, as well as the rest of the books in the series.
This book fulfilled my expectations, and I was not disappointed. This book is the epitome of the saying, "If it's meant to be, it will be."
I understand the reasons behind their respective choices, but the universe has wonderful things in store for them. It was charming that their families all knew they would eventually find each other again. It was pleasant to watch them fall in love once more—or, more accurately to continue their relationship from where they had left off.
I adored this brooding, possessive, and protective Carter; he was adorable. He simply wanted someone who would join him in collecting trolls, and Rosie is undoubtedly capable of bringing out his free spirit side. It was a great time with my Everhope Road family, and I will miss it. In the end, Oliver was able to repay Carter for all the trouble he caused him while he was secretly married to Hailey. We appreciate Jet's assistance, and he deserves a standing ovation. I'm glad for Hailey and Esme. The playdates are something I'm excited about. I called it Bella would undoubtedly violate the fraternisation rule, as I had predicted.
I have evey to thank for my growing fondness for small-town romance. They seem cozy and homely. That simply makes me think of returning home and being greeted with wide arms.
Every time I read a book by the talented Ms.Lyon, I can be guaranteed to be entertained, fall in love with the characters and laugh a lot. Everything I Needed is a second-chance romance, which is my all-time favourite trope. I loved being back on Everhope Road with the gang. Ms. Lyon has saved the best for the last, Carter and Rosie's love story. I don't think I have laughed so hard as I did reading this book. The banter between Carter and Rosie, as well as the banter with their family and friends, had me in tears from laughing so hard. Carter and Rosie loved, divorced and now, after a drunken one-night stand and two pink lines, they find themselves at a crossroads. He's the grumpy sheriff who still loves Rosie and would do anything for her. I don't think he has ever hated her for leaving, but he's had a hole in his heart that only she could fill. Rosie, the spitfire Blisswood girl who loved Carter but needed to travel and find herself. Deep down inside her heart always belonged to Carter but it took time for her to realize it. These two are soulmates, made for one another from day one. I love how Carter was somewhat forceful about wanting Rosie with him and he never gave up on winning her back. Yes, Rosie has walls up but it wasn't because of Carter, but her reservations about hurting him again. Everything I Needed is one book I will be reading again. The laughs, banter and love that are shared with us page after page make this book an outstanding and addictive romance book.
I can’t believe we’ve reached the end of the Everhope Road series—what a ride it’s been! Across three unforgettable books, Evey Lyon has delivered love stories packed with heart, but Everything I Needed might just be my favorite. This highly anticipated third book brings us the couple we’ve all been waiting for: exes Carter and Rosie.
Sheriff Carter, our broody small-town lawman, has only gotten grumpier since his divorce from Rosie. Their marriage fell apart when Rosie longed to travel and Carter stayed rooted in Everhope. Neither was willing to bend back then, and so they walked away. But now, Rosie’s back—and so is their undeniable chemistry.
One night of wedding-fueled drinks leads to a moment of passion… and then two pink lines. That’s when this age-gap, second-chance romance truly kicks off. And trust me, it delivers. Evey Lyon is a master of writing emotional depth and sizzling tension, all while layering in just the right amount of small-town charm.
Carter stole my heart—gruff, guarded, but utterly soft when it comes to Rosie. And Rosie? A sunbeam of a woman who brings light back into Carter’s life. Their dynamic is perfection: sunshine and grump, fire and slow burn. I especially loved Carter’s sweet little secret about their baby’s gender—it melted me!
This book has everything: steamy moments, emotional growth, witty banter, and a love story that feels both hard-earned and completely satisfying. A beautiful conclusion to the series that leaves your heart full.
If you love second chances, emotional reunions, and the kind of love that never really fades, Everything I Needed will hit you right in the feels. A must-read finale to an incredible series!

Trope: Age Gap Romance HEA Second Chance Surprised Pregnancy Divorced Remarried One Night Stand
Summary: FMC and MMC were married and are now divorced. They have been divorced for some time now. The divorce was amicable. The FMC who is younger than the MMC felt she needed to travel the world and the MMC let her go. The FMC wishes the MMC had fought a bit harder for her to stay.
The meet up again at the MMCs brother is getting married and the FMC is a surprise guest. A one-night stand leads to pregnancy and HEA.
Review: This is my second book by this author, and I like her writing style. It is refreshing. All in all, I liked the story. I know that this book is a part of a collection of series. So when you read it you will be meet individuals from other books. But it is a standalone book. The only real issue I had with the book was the FMC feeling as if she didn't deserve him because she left. He let her go. It was something that they should have communicated about. It seemed a great part of the book was her beating herself up about this.

Rosie and Carter
The story follows Rosie and Carter and their second chance romance. Once married, then divorced because of their completely opposite life expectations. But life brings back together what belongs together. Despite being so different, their age gap and more, you know they love each other. Or more accurately will love each other again. But easy wasn’t in the cards for them. And so life throws them challenges into their journey. It was sweet and adorable to witness them fall back in love and a relationship again. And the icing on the top was getting a bonus neither saw coming. It took Rosie a while to see what really matters and what she truly wanted. And in the end everything went as it was supposed to be. And sometimes heartbreak is a part of that journey so you value the treasure called love even more. Carter never stopped loving his Rosie but knew he had to let her go. With the hopes of getting her back sometime. And now with their new chance and becoming a family those two have to overcome their fears and doubts to make it work. I appreciated their banters and the interactions with all the other former couples. It was the fitting piece of entertainment that made this book a perfect story.
This is the 3rd and last book in the Everhope Road series and a second chance romance between Carter, the local sheriff and Oliver's older brother, and Rosie, his ex-wife.
Carter and Rosie divorced because of the age gap becaue they were at different stages in life when they found each other and got married. He already was sheriff and she was independent and needed to travel and find herself. Some years later she is back and his mother invites her to Oliver and Halsey's wedding and that encounter ends with them spending the night together.
Some weeks later, Rosie almost pukes on him when he stops her car and that's the unusual way of how she anounces her pregnancy. Since that moment, Carter will be the perfect protector and will be patiently waiting for Rosie to accept that their love was fated and this time will be forever. This opposites attract are really made for each other and everybody in their families know it.
As with some of Evey books this one has some emotional moments as well as some funny ones. I loved how Carter tries to mask his love for Jet, Oliver's dog, being grumpy about it's unexpected visits.
The end of an era in Everhope and what an end it was!
Carter and Rosie - when opposites attract (again) After Oliver’s wedding a single night between ex husband and wife Carter and Rosie results in pregnancy. Carter is all in (let’s be honest he never stopped loving his ex wife) but Rosie refuses to reunite due to the fact she is pregnant. After moving Rosie in their attraction towards each other is undeniable and before long feelings they buried resurface! Growing closer together and getting ready for the baby together is beautiful to read.
I absolutely loved both Carter and Rosie and thought they were an amazing couple.
Everything We Needed is a small-town second-chance romance with an accidental pregnancy. For lovers of books low on angst and a swoony hero who falls first. This is the third and final book in the Everhope Road series and can be read as a standalone (but you defo see and hear from the previous couples from the first two books)
Thank you Evey and her team for this eARC in exchange for my honest review
I absolutely love Evey Lyon books. They are so well written and the stories always carry you away to the places and characters she writes about. Every book is a beautiful experience.
Same goes for Everything I Needed.
I absolutely loved Carter in previous books. I'm all for the growly, bad-tempered grizzly bear of a man that turns into the biggest teddy bear for the right people. Him getting his own book and his very own HEA was chefs kiss. He's the kind of book boyfriend that sets impossible standards for real life guys. ;)
Now to Rosie. I hate to say but I actually spend most of the time reading this book with being annoyed by her. I did not like her hesitance towards Carter and I kept rolling my eyes at her affection for astrology. Though thanks to Evey Lyon's wonderful writing, Carter's down to earth personality leveled out most of that annoyance and I still got to enjoy Everything I Needed so very much.
I'm sad to say goodbye to Everhope Road but I can't wait to see what comes next.
Sheriff Carter finally gets his HEA in Everything I Needed! I've been rooting for the guy ever since he went on a date with Violet, and I was so happy that he got his second chance with his ex-wife, Rosie!
Everything I Needed hits all the right notes for a second-chance, accidental pregnancy, small-town romance. The night of his brother Oliver's wedding, Carter and Rosie have a drunken one-night stand. When she comes back to town a few weeks later to tell him that she's pregnant, Carter takes his shot at winning his ex-wife back. Free-spirited Rosie is hesitant to make the same mistakes she made in their relationship the first time, and worries that Carter resents her for breaking up their marriage the first time. With lots of love and patience, Carter proves to Rosie that he's not afraid of being hurt by him again because they belong together.
This was such a charming story. I love the greater community in Lake Spark, and the crossover of characters from the other books.
I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.
I received an ARC of this book, all thoughts are my own.
This sweet second chance love story blends witty banter and emotional connection with a touch of small-town charm. And nosey neighbors. And meddling families. And a cute dog. When Rosie and Carter, who are already divorced, share a passionate night at Carter's brother’s wedding, it leads to an unexpected pregnancy—and could that bring them back together?
For Carter, this surprise twist is the perfect opportunity to win Rosie back. But will Rosie risk her heart again after everything they’ve been through? One particularly humorous element for me was the "Grandma War" between Rosie and Carter's moms. They were always trying to one up one another.
From relatable characters to laugh-out-loud dialogue, Everything I Needed is the kind of book that sneaks up on you—in the best way. It’s a captivating, feel-good romance you didn’t know you needed until you started turning the pages. I only wish it wasn't the final installment of Everhope Road!
DNF - The writing was disjointed, confusing, and inconsistent. It felt like there were either words missing at times and at others it was just super hard to follow where the author wanted to take the story. It would have benefited from a more thorough edit. Also, the story got boring after a while.
A few examples: - Having her underneath me again stirred the confusion inside me due to indescribable feelings. (Huh?)
- We slow for one kiss, only for our tongues to get reacquainted. The tip of our tongues flick one another before his swirls around my own. (What?)
- I have your favorite cherry pie in my car because I thought what the hell, today deserves dessert.” Our eyes lock for a second before we both burst out laughing (why is this funny?)
- A good little girl ready to be taken. (Eew)
- as I continue on our quest for a release. We get there. (that’s not a sex scene! That’s bad writing!)
I've been waiting for this book! Carter got on my nerves in olivers book but I actually liked him in his book. 😂 this was not my first Evey Lyon book and I know it won't be my last either. This book starts off basically 6 weeks after everything I dreamed ended (Oliver and Bailey's wedding). now that I'm thinking about the book (this is the fastest I've reviewed an ARC it's almost a week before release day!) there weren't that many characters. most of the book was just Carter and Rosie but while reading it doesn't feel so small. the storyline flowed right and even though they both held back at times they actually had COMMUNICATION! I guess they learned that from their divorce. that fact that neither of them blamed the other for their past, they book took responsibility and tried taking the blame.
Everything I Needed by @eveylyonbooks was just what you thought you needed!
Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and 1/2
3rd and final book in the Everhope Road Series!
Sheriff Carter and Rosie were once married. They decided that it wasn’t for them and by chance they met again at his brothers wedding. Sparks still fly between these two and while they don’t want to admit it they both are still in love with each other. One turn of events brings these two back together with their awkward talks, one annoying dog, two medling mothers, and their love for each other growing. This is the right amount of closer we need for this group on Everhope Road.
Each book in ther series brings something different this one is sweet and shows the soft side of our sheriff!
Carter and Rosie’s marriage has been over for a while. When she is also a guest at his brother’s wedding, it leads to just one more night of passion. But that night leads to an unexpected pregnancy. And this time Carter will not let her go again. Carter finally got his HEA, and it’s with his ex-wife. They were always meant to be, it wasn’t just their time yet back then. And now, with a baby on the way, they both have realized that those feelings are still there. Rosie has also grown as a person, and she’s looking for stability now. And she knows that Carter will give that to her. Last book in the series, always sad to say goodbye to all these characters. I hope they will show up in future books…
Ever since the last book, I was eagerly waiting for Carter’s story. He’s the town sheriff and the brother of the previous book’s hero. As always, I love seeing familiar faces from earlier books reappear — it gives the story such a cozy continuity.
I really enjoyed the developing relationship between Rosie and Carter. The unplanned pregnancy trope is one I personally love, and it was done well here.
These two characters are complete opposites, yet they complement each other so perfectly.
It’s a sweet, heartwarming romance that’s easy to devour — and honestly, it makes you wish you had a Carter of your own.
-Second chance -Unexpected pregnancy -small town -Ex husband/wife -The One Who Got Away
A case of the right person and the wrong time could describe Rosie and Carter's marriage.
Can time, an unexpected night at his brother's wedding and the surprise baby be what makes the difference?
Carter was such a growly and grumpy H to others, but was actually a teddy bear of a book boyfriend to the right one. Rosie was a nice character, just a little indecisive.
The story was engaging, it drew you in, it was emotional, funny, witty and romantic.
I was given a free copy of this book and I'm voluntarily leaving an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Previously divorced ex’s have a one night stand resulting in a pregnancy and their journey to a HEA is sweet and sentimental. I knew I was going to enjoy Carter and Rosie’s story right off the bat with the first line: “We’re supposed to be divorced, not end up with our clothes on the floor next to my bed.” I very much appreciated the focus on taking the time needed for both of them to heal and reconnect, the restraint they both showed to try and right their wrongs the second time around. You could feel the emotions coming off the page in this romance…a beautiful conclusion to the Everhope Road series. 4.25 stars Thanks to the author for the eARC
4 Star Review Everything I Needed (Everhope Road #3) by Evey Lyon
This is Rosie and Carter’s story and it was a good addition to the Everhope Road series.
Well written , I was quickly drawn into this second chance at love story that the author wove.
The characters were engaging and I could easily relate too. The chemistry sizzled between them and it was entertaining to watch as their relationship developed.
A wonderful story that ticked numerous boxes for me. The banter was witty and I found myself cheering for them to get the happily ever after they both deserved.
I absolutely love Rosie and Carter's story. Fate steps in and gives these two a second chance at love with a surprise pregnancy. No matter what went wrong in their first marriage the love these two share shines above all. This is one of those fast paced, small town, feel good romances that just had me smiling and wanting more. Such a beautiful journey. I have enjoyed every one of the books in this series and this is such a wonderful 5 star addition.
I was sent an advanced copy and am voluntarily leaving this honest review.
4.5/5⭐️ Rosie and Carter reconnect at his brother’s wedding, and despite their divorce, their meet up goes smoothly and leads to a happy surprise. As they both adapt to the change, Rosie moves in with Carter and that changes everything.
Caring, protective and obsessed Carter was so hot. I loved how he embraces Rosie’s quirks and how he patiently waits for Rosie to catch up as they seek to re-start their relationship.
It was also lovely to see past characters such as Esme, Hailey, and Oliver appearing here. I will definitely miss the cozy Everhope Road family.
A second chance pregnancy romance that was so well written that I couldn't put this book down.
Rosie and Carter, an ex-husband and wife, are at the same wedding, and they have one night together, which results in a surprise. I enjoyed this book, I loved Rosie and Carter. The way they came together and bonded over their new reality was so enjoyable, and I loved the way that Carter would do anything to make Rosie happy. This book was emotional, and I absolutely loved it.
I absolutely loved Rosie and Carter. I enjoyed their banter and the way they were able to reconnect. I enjoyed the connections between all the series. I had not read the Blisswood series yet, but read book one after I finished this book, which made me love Rosie even more. This was a sweet, small town, second chance romance. While it's bittersweet for the series to end, I look forward to more from Evey and the cameos from other series. Thank you for the opportunity to read this ARC.
Perfect Ms Lyon has closed yet another series perfectly. I loved this couple and have been waiting for their story. This is a beautiful second chance story, proving the old adage of right person wrong timing. It is full of realistic and relatable characters, sweetness, swoons, steam and family. Carter and Rosie’s journey has witty banter, humour, growth, low angst and some old familiar Blisswood characters. A must read.
