You'll See: Someone’s been keeping secrets. They're about to be exposed.

Rate this book
Piper hoped moving back to her hometown would be the fresh start she needed after her boss was murdered right in front of her. It meant a new job, a quiet life, and time to heal from the losses that have scarred her. Her boyfriend, Adam, is up for the move too. But working at a mental health home is anything but quiet, and her long-buried childhood memories begin to resurface.

Then the letters start arriving.

At first, they seem harmless, almost protective. But as they grow darker and more intrusive, Piper realises someone is watching her. They know her secrets, her routines, even her thoughts. They don’t like the people around her, and they aren’t afraid to make that clear.

Detective Inspector Alex Swanson and pregnant forensic psychologist Summer Thomas are determined to help, but as Piper’s grip on reality begins to falter, she struggles to untangle the web of lies surrounding her. With her stalker always one step ahead, she’s forced to confront not only the ghosts of her past but the shocking truth about the people closest to her.

The danger is far closer than Piper ever imagined, and someone is willing to do whatever it takes to keep her under their control.

This series was so good. The first one had me thinking hmmmm, but each one got better. The ending was a shocker, I kind of thought it was who it was but not in the way the storyline wrapped it up. Enjoyed it and read the series in about a week. I am now reading The Holiday Home another good one. Don't want to put in any spoilers. Since I am a LCSW and work in the mental health field the storyline kept me intrigued. Nice to see how things are in the UK with mental health services.

2.5 stars….. Yikes….this series should have ended at five books because You’ll See (book 6) was not great. I feel like it drug on saying the same stuff over and over again and then the end gave me serious ick factor 🤢 a person needs a little warning before getting that bomb dropped on you….gross. Its only saving grace was that it was less than 300 pages so it was a quick read.
