I want to say that I liked it well enough but it certainly had a lot of contradictions in it as well. She's unhappy in her marriage so she has an affair which, inevitably blows up in her face. I mean, that is not a big shocker at all to me. I don't really enjoy this sort of a book unless there is personal growth in it and to be frank, it doesn't feel like there is any at all.
Things happen. People change and grow away from one another. I can absolutely believe and get behind the idea of separating from that person simply because there is no love anymore. But for me, this felt like more of a cheating to cheat kind of thing? Maybe I did not understand the story in all, but that's just one person's opinion.
