all I have to say was this book was masterpiece it felt like I was reading KOA. This book made me happy, sad, angry every emotion under the sun. Mirevera and Bagha will go down as some of my favorite characters of all time their growth in these books was incredible and for being a duology kaven wrote these books to perfection like I honestly couldn’t have asked for anything better. I love that Mirevera behaved like a normal person and her emotions reflected that especially towards Cage! If you are thinking about reading these books DO IT!!!

Unfortunately I am banishing this book to my DNF graveyard. I was listening it via Audible and the narrator decided to start whispering half the dialogue and it was driving my crazy. I'm not giving it a star rating because maybe I'll come back to it if I ever cave and buy a kindle.

The plot so far was great and engaging but my biggest disappointment was that the entire store feels rushed. Kaven could have easily stretched these into several books and explored other characters, but this is the last book in the series. I was crushed to hear that!

This duology was great! Thought the first book was good and this one was even better.

I’d give this a 4.5 just because I didn’t like that she lived and just took off with Cage to live their happily ever after while her friend spent over a year searching for any clue on whether she lived or died. I know he eventually found out through some sources but nonetheless that kind of killed it a tad for me lol

KAVEN!!!

The only reason I gave this a 4-star is because it bounced around a bit too much for me, but since I know she used DND dice to make decisions on directions of the books/characters, I get it! I would 100% refer this… to everyone! Great characters, fun storylines, and incredible world-building. If you like fantasy adventures with enemies to lovers, this is the duology for you.

The conclusion to this duology had me going through so many emotional rollercoasters. I was constantly surprised by all of the twists and turns. This book also stayed action-packed and never hit a dull point. I am so sad to say goodbye to these characters now. A problem for another day... 😉

What a wonderful conclusion to an epic story! I do wish I had done a reread before diving back in but I was so happy with the conclusion!
(But also I almost docked a star because of the editing errors... But I'll forgive an indie author!)
