What a beautiful and smart resourse to really get under the skin of the practice of being a Medium. Very rigourous in its approach, but welcoming and funny at points too. Ethics, boundaries, methods for practice, research- everything you might want!

Really just a beautiful book for anyone who has any interest in the world of mediumship. Whether you’re on a journey to become a medium or just want to know more about the practice, Beyond should absolutely be on your TBR. I found this book to have a great blend of history, personal anecdotes, and practical information. Many of the exercises focus on proper grounding and boundary setting, which honestly are so helpful and important beyond just mediumship.

Beyond really exceeded my expectations in terms of the scope that was covered. I am fascinated by the practice of mediumship and deeply believe that there is so much more going on around us than what is widely accepted. This was the perfect read for me to further explore that spiritual path. I love that Hopkins explores mediumship as something that goes well beyond simply connecting to loved ones that have passed. Through her shared experiences, open minded perspective, and conversational writing style, she makes very profound insights so accessible. This is not just a guide for selecting a medium or becoming one yourself. It’s about connecting more deeply to the energy within yourself and the world around you.

The writing style is a refreshingly candid and sincere glimpse in the work of mediumship, including the positive and challenging aspects of the journey and profession. Hopkins is so thoughtful, genuine and well-considered. You can tell that she really wants to provide her readers with something meaningful, helpful and honest.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who believes that there is more to our spiritual and physical existence. Beyond offers a fantastic means to explore the unseen realms of energy and connection. The book just gets better and better as you keep reading. It also contains an incredible trove of resources. Whether you’re seeking out a medium, want to become one, or just want insight into the mediumship without the intention of engaging, it’s worth a read!

Way back in the dark days of the pandemic, I was fortunate to connect with tech strategist Tiffany Hopkins via an extraordinary Mediumship for Creativity Zoom workshop she gave through the Morbid Anatomy Library. Though I’ve long been an intuitive writer, artist, and tarotist, the tools I learned from Tiffany truly helped me take my skillset to the next level—Tiffany has a real gift for taking the ephemeral and grounding it in the pragmatic. Fast forward several years later, I’m thrilled Tiffany’s debut book, BEYOND: A Living Person’s Guide to the Dead, has been published by Sterling Ethos—and what a book it is! Not only is BEYOND a comprehensive, inviting, and easily accessible guide to the intuitive craft of mediumship, it also reveals Tiffany’s fascinating path to becoming a professional medium via the Lily Dale spiritualist community. Bottom line: BEYOND takes everything Tiffany offered in her classes and supersizes them to, well, the beyond. Highly recommended.

Beyond is about so much more than ethical mediumship. It’s a journey into the mind and life of someone fighting their science based education and learned social norms to come to terms with something no one can really understand. The subject is complex but presented with clarity and structure. Beyond is beautifully written, intellectually challenging and helpfully directive. I appreciated the examples and exercises to help guide my own journey towards grappling life’s mysteries and seeing through the static that feels ever present in our lives today toward a deeper sense of self, calm and knowing. I’m not planning on becoming a medium, but I’ll used the tools I learned to improve my communication with people, animals and the environment around me. I’m really excited to have this new foundation of knowledge and a toolkit to refer back to.

Beyond is an amazing resource and wealth of wisdom and information. I don't believe any other books exist that explain how to have authentic conversations with the dead and so I was very much pleased to find it! Reading it was relevant, reassuring and inspiring. I am excited to use the exercises and develop my skills. Beyond will be a mainstay on my shelf, A book I'm sure I will go back to again and again as I mature in my spiritual work.

definitely not my normal reading material, but Tiffany does such a great job introducing this topic in a logical, intelligent manner, with thoughtful musings and insights that made it an eye-opening/mind-expanding listen, even if this isn't part of my world!
